The SS316 CSV should work fine.... I have used Notch Coils for years now and without issue on my 250C. Here is the CSV for SS316L that I have used for years. You can try it but I suspect a connectivity issue in your atty, hot spot, dirty 510 connection, poor ground, or etc. SS 316L.csv

In Theme Designer under the Light Indicator tab are the settings the same for both devices?

Does it do the same thing in TC mode? May be a connectivity issue with the coil, atty, or etc. Are you using spaced coils? In Device Monitor what coil resistance variation (Cold ohms to Live ohms) do you get while vaping ?

Just solder the center pin to the main body creating a dead short. That does the same thing as the tool you speak of.

One way is to go into EScribe with your device connected and select the profile you are using and click Temperature OFF. Upload to your device. Another way is to change the profile you are using to a different profile that is not in TC mode. You might try going to EScribe Display tab and see if the Power Bank setting is set to Auto or Manual (in theme). What do you get when you set it to Auto? My understanding is the DNA 250C supports USB On-The-Go. An OTG adapter may be plugged into the Micro USB port on the device to charge any other device capable of charging via USB.

What auxilliary power supply are you using, voltage, amperage, and etc. ?

Thank you @mactavish for the history lesson.... I've been using Evolv stuff since the Darwin days, alpha or beta tested every one except for one over the years, and I could write a book about what could possibly delay a release of a board/software/firmware/update and etc. As you know when they plan on a release, being their best estimate, they are also working on several new things also that may materialize in the future. Knowing Evolv and the folks there I am not hesitant to say that they have not held back, as far as I know, on a release just to increase sales on something else. Heck you can still buy DNA20, 40, 25, 60, and etc. boards. When the update that gives Replay to the 75C is ready to be released it will be put out.

Not knowing the full description of the purpose of PK "Allow on unlikely coils" it may just be a hidden tool that can be used to see if one can vape what seems to be an "unlikely coil". At this point I see no real value to use it on a regular basis as Replay works nicely.... or maybe it's use can be used for something coming in the future that we know not what it is yet...???? For years now we have seen the DNA technology continually go to the next level and I have wondered for years also if Evolv will ever design what is the weak link (in my opinion) of vaping. That being the atomizer with its legacy connection issues. How great it would be to have a new atomizer technology with something different than the "the old technology in the room" .... that being the 510 connector. Noted that Evolv's 510 connector is the best one I've ever used.....

AMD..... loaded the Boxer *,ecig file and Replay didn't work on my 250C....... Try this Test Theme and see if it does anything..... it is just the Default Evolv theme with a Toggle to turn on and off Replay on the main screen... NEXT DAY EDIT: Will Load Boxer Default and see if it seems to work? Test 250C Theme.ecigtheme

Probably not the issue but could you post up the *.ecig file and I'll spin it on my 250C with SS....

An *.ecigprofile file is different than a *.cvs file..... What is the name of the file you downloaded?

Look under Language in Theme Designer.....

You could use the 3 mounting screws that hold the board in the enclosure as they are ground. Make sure that your 510 is tightly screwed into the enclosure as that will be the ground for the 510. OR you can run a ground wire from the power out ground solder pad to the shell (silver part) of the 510.
