  1. From what you are saying about the results shown in Device Monitor you are reaching temp and it is regulating.... I don't build coils such as yours but at 420F on many DNA's my vape is not a warm vape.... I usually vape SS316L at about 430 to 450F and not a warm vape.... I don't like warm vapes.... I'm not familiar with Artic Fox but am familiar with DNA's.... Could it be that the Artic Fox doesn't consistently measure Temperature and you are vaping at higher temp than you think thus getting a warmer vape? How do you check the temp with the Artic Fox.... DNA's have Device Monitor to see what it's doing.... what graphing software does the Artic Fox use? My comments may not be of any value to you but are just my thoughts....
  2. Kinda acts like you have a bad connection somewhere but when you bump it then it connects temporarily.... could also be a loose ground..... make sure the board is secure...
  3. Try this theme..... it's the one I use.... see if it looks bad on yours... Mr. Theo Bottomfeeder Black Easy Colors V2.0.4 English for DNA 75C.ecigtheme
  4. That's what I mean by positional.... mine does that too.... I think that's the nature of the oled screen.... not so much left to right as it is up and down....
  5. Best option... Seller replace as DOA 1. Do a "soft" and "hard boot" with EScribe.... doubt this will fix it... 2. Open device (voids device warranty) and check the connection where the ribbon hooks to the board. If not properly set it can cause issues.... also check for a cracked glass on the screen... 3. Make sure the screen ribbon is not being pinched when the fire button is pushed.... ribbon could be damaged. 4. Possible board issue..... board has 1 year warranty from Evolv.... Good luck...
  6. hum, then maybe the screen, maybe the connection where the screen ribbon attaches at the board, or maybe the board...... best guesses by not being able to troubleshoot it in person.... Just got your device today.... maybe contact vendor (warranty for DOA) and see if they would foot the bill for shipping since you got it "Dead on Arrival"..... worth a try...
  7. Don't know which device you purchased..... it may just be Theme Related..... these color screens are more position sensitive .... orientation of viewing angle can give different visual results.... and the background color can be different depending on the theme design... You might save (backup) the Theme and/or the ecig file and then upload a different theme and see how that goes... if you understand how to do that.... lots of themes to try are in the download section of this forum...
  8. There is tons of themes in the download section of this forum as you probably already know.... I just post this one for you to look at as it may help you see what can be done... look at the flow chart and download if you want... .... click on this link

  10. https://downloads.evolvapor.com/dna75color.pdf
  11. Go to this link..... scroll down to EScribe and download EScribe you want.... latest recommended versions of EScribe.... When you open EScribe with device connected there will be an update for firmware (service pack) if you need it.... Themes can be designed for the 75C so all displays aren't going to look the same.... screens can look different... 1.1 sp33.2 INT is the latest I think...... https://www.evolvapor.com/products/dna75color
  12. WOW.... new device only 1 week old.....15,930 vapes in one week.... that's 2,275 vapes per day.... (94+ vapes per hour x 24 hours per day x 7 days) OR did you mean only the batteries were brand new) Definitely a problem....... could be many reasons.... anything from bad wiring, lose grounds, battery sled issue, e-liquid on the board, board issue, and etc..........if device is only 1 week old you might see if vendor will replace it.... cell 1 and cell 2 are not balanced.... your DM screenshot shows it not charging.... and you can start a ticket with Evolv....
  13. In Escribe Device Monitor when connected does the fully charged batteries show to be balanced and as you vape while connected does it show they remain balanced as you vape. The charge circuit will charge the batteries while connected. With that done now disconnect from Device Monitor and vape until you get the message then connect to Device Monitor and see if the batteries are imbalanced and do they balance when charging? When you get the message connect to Device Monitor.... What is the voltage of each battery?
  14. Nope...... this board will let you charge 2 to 6 cell batteries instead of needing separate cables for each number of cells... https://hobbyking.com/en_us/multi-adapter-all-in-one-balance-board-tp-hp-xh-eh.html?___store=en_us It's a very handy balance board for the money if you can find a cable to plug it up to your charger. Really irritating that they don't include one
  15. 0.004 ohms is a pretty consistent calibration on many, many devices.... yours may already be done...
  16. No there is only one message.... temp protect which you called throttling....... you are fine Timmy...
  17. So when it drops out as a short hit Device Monitor no longer shows power being used and no drop in voltage?
  18. So, you say when the power cuts off Device Monitor still shows power being used and voltage lowering? Device Monitors show in real time live view... if the device isn't firing what is using the power?
  19. Can you post a Device Monitor screenshot showing firing in tc mode and one showing firing in replay mode?
  20. If I recall correctly...... Look in Theme Designer under the Language Tab you will see that "Throttling" is the Temperature Protect Message.... just means you have reached your set temperature and overshot it so the device is regulating you back to the set temperature. In most all other themes the word " Temp Protect" is used. In Device Monitor you can see when your device reaches set temperature and you can see the overshoot and the device regulating back to set temperature... Throttling is a term also used when the atty starts to becomes dry or not wicking quickly enough the device throttles back on power to prevent wick burning..... when it does this no error message is given..... so the message you are getting is just as stated above...
  21. Might watch this video as a start to learning how to mod.... a lot to learn and solderings skills are necessary.... enjoy your journey into mod building...
  22. You might write a General Inquiry to Evolv and maybe they can answer your questions... here is the link... https://helpdesk.evolvapor.com/index.php?a=add&category=3
