  1. I've seen several posts saying the same thing.... been pondering what that could be.... 3-one-thousands of an Amp.... I have no clue how the board is designed nor about the software and firmware design either.... so.... I ponder what that can be.... Could it be this: When you charge the device the charging circuit balances the cells and even after the battery charge circuit stops charging you will notice the cells are still being balanced.. Could this be what you are seeing and does it really effect the Case Analyzer results significantly??? That's my best guess (read my disclaimer at the bottom of my post... 😊)
  2. Evolv will have to address how the board is designed.... send them a ticket.... https://helpdesk.evolvapor.com/index.php?a=add&category=1
  3. Follow the diagram as the second wires for G,1,2,3,4 are for balancing .... you can vape while charging anyway... as long as there is enough left in the batteries....
  4. Understand your frustration....😊 Let us know what Wet Vapes says......most vendors I've asked say it will void their vendor's warranty.... Wet Vapes are good folks.....
  5. That's OK...... DM-Mesh coils are also Kanthal according to these links.... I googled" DM Mesh coil Kanthal" .... here is a couple links for those who asked about them... https://www.nyxecigs.com/products/ijoy-diamond-dm-mesh-coil-3-pack https://www.misthub.com/products/ijoy-dm-mesh-replacement-coil
  6. We just need to do what works for us...... I, like Brandon, used TC for years..... but now I only use Replay........ from the info reported to Evolv if Replay still needs a bit of tweaking it'll probably get worked on.... 😊
  7. Good deal you tracked it down....😊
  8. My search was for the X-3 mesh that was mentioned.... your link for the Diamond DM mesh that works in TC mode may be helpful to them if you could share it.... My quick search for what you posted only talks about the Diamond device being a Temp Control device.... I would like to go to the link you saw.... I can learn something... THX
  9. I had a USB cable that I used for 6 months and it was a snug fit when plugged into the deice but over time it got to be loose fitting..... not to the point that it would not connect to EScribe.... I thought.... hum..... that the USB port on the device was the cause.... I also had a brand new matching (unused) USB cable that I bought the same time as I bought the one I had been using. I got out the brand new cable and it again allowed a tight fit to the USB port of the device.... not saying that's your issue but just passing along on of my USB cable experiences...
  10. Did a 20 minute google search and haven't found anything YET that mentions Temp Control...... watched a few videos also and none were using Temp Control..... read a number of places that said the coils were Kanthal...... link to one.... read the description.... https://www.misthub.com/products/ijoy-x3-mesh-replacement-coil
  11. Looks like the batteries are being charged at a high rate looking at your screen shot.... usually as the batteries get close to full charge the charging circuit current reduces and charges at a slower rate thus the last few % points may take a bit longer.....
  12. My thought was maybe Wet Vapes (good folks) would replace it and send your current device to LV or get a credit..... what I posted includes these words.." it is your responsibility to check within the time span and notify us of any problem. " Just trying to help ya..... 😊 My thoughts over the years is that any company making any product should take care of CS issues. (like Evolv does 😊)... if we don't address the issue with them, will anything change??? Have a great day....
  13. Replay does not work with Kanthal nor does Kanthal work in Temperature Control mode. To use Replay you need to use a wire material that can be used in Temp Control mode.....such as Nickel 200, SS 316, SS 316L, Titanium, and etc.....
  14. From Wet Vapes Return Policy: DOA, Missing, & Wrong ItemsAll "Dead on Arrivals" (DOA), Missing, or Wrong Item claims must be reported back to us within 48 hours from the time of delivery. 15. I'm not attacking anything but just trying to understand your points and having a conversation with you.... As I said earlier we can agree to disagree and I said if Evolv wants to go to the C-connector then thats fine........ with that we can, going forward, have a civil, and hopefully constructive, conversation and dialog .
  16. Oh I see, you want a DNA board to play music, connect a USB stick, and etc...... Why should DNA's be Host's.... they are just e-cig devices? Does the device you mentioned that has a C-connector act as a Host? If Evolv decides to move to a C-connector then that's fine.... just means those with multiple devices now will have to buy another cable.... no big deal....
  17. We can agree to disagree my friend.... I thought the DNA's transfer data back and forth but you say the USB ports are just receivers.... what do you mean by that?
  18. OK....in your Theme go to the "Recording" screen..... you will see 3 options..... you can use 1, 2, or all 3 setting..... so just use Power and vape 5 new puffs and then see what your Puff screen will show ..... then add Temp and do the same thing... then add Battery and do the same thing again..... If the line you wonder about is the Battery then unchecking it in the Recording screen should do away with it on the Puff screen...
  19. Yep I said it could be the cause ... didn't say that was the cause.....many things can be causing it..... and on your second shot where the device doesn't reach your set temperature you could increase the watts,or reduce Temperature ,so you can reach set temperature and you should see the same throttling back of power as set temperature is reached that you see in your shot 1 as it reaches set temperature.
  20. hum.... I ponder about changing the DNA's to USB C......... Manufacturers of lots of various products still use the same USB connector on every new product they make. Example is Apple.... Iphone - C connector, IPad - same and Apple has adapters to go from C connector to other types..... Garmin makes GPS devices and all of them use the same Mini USB connector.... as they bring new ones to market they have the same connector....Samsung cell phones all use the micro-USB... All my DNA's from each new board made over all the years has the same micro USB connector.... So what advantage is there with a C connector that would be beneficial to the DNA board that the micro USB doesn't have other than being able to use a C type USB cable? I don't think there has been any major issues with charging or the transfer of data using a quality micro USB cable. I charge all 8 of my DNA's internally and would rather all DNA's have the same connector.
  21. Sure would be ice if the mod maker would set the device up right and test before shipping.... Just my thoughts....
  22. Your first shot reached set temp very quickly... sometimes a coil build (hot spot), using contact coils, or poor connections can result in temp being reached too quickly and the device throttles down....
  23. Thanks @ajoe ....... wondering if the mechanical action of the fire button is causing the click.... did not hear any whistling so not sure what that could be..
  24. In the first shot you reach the set temperature ( 180C) quickly (red line) thus the device throttles back. In the second shot your device settings never let you reach your 220C set temperature ( red line) as it peaks at 191+ C.
