Then regardless of results connect to EScribe and go to Device Monitor and note what the voltage of each cell reports and post it here.
-
Connect to EScribe , go to Mod tab then Battery tab. Check to see that the correct number of cells is listed, if not change it to the correct amount and upload setting to device. I believe yours has 3 cells.

I'm wondering if you have an early version of Escribe that doesn't work with the color boards, other than that?
-
No problem as long as they are in your FW folder, if not download earlier service packs and they will be put in there. Tools/Apply Service Pack at top left of EScribe to flash it. Just pick the one that you want.

https://downloads.evolvapor.com/dna250color.pdf I have no idea about lights, perhaps someone will chime in. The battery tap configurations are in the data sheet. I solder bridge mine right on the board......or you can wire it. Generally the boards are the same, there are some exceptions like Vaporshark and others that remove parts of the buttons or add daughter boards. 2 x2xxxx is same as 2 18650's, you may want to change the discharge profile but that should not be necessary. Which of your mods is the donor? I'm guessing the Vapecige squonk, the board from mine is in another mod.

Only when the material greatly differs for the known TCR values, but Replay should not be affected much by that, only TC. Keep in mind that I'm just a member like yourself (but forum moderator) and not an Evolv Tech. I just got my first color board last Christmas and only messed with Replay a few times in the last couple of months........but I do read the forum a lot.

Are these pre-made coil?
-
You might give this setting a try, change to "dubious coils" and upload to device. Easy to try and put back if it doesn't work out.
-
The wire it's self won't but any wonky connection between the board and coil can show up causing a slight change. Replay under these circumstances will sometimes work with a non TC wire (sometimes)
-
I decided to try replay in the SS316 profile. So I go into EScribe and check the box for Replay and upload the settings. I then try it out, no choice for Reply. I had checked the box in the wrong profile, That's corrected and Replay is working in the SS316 TC profile. Mistakes are easy.
-
I think that maybe your wire isn't SS, might be Kanthal or Nichrome. But I wouldn't expect that much change from a non TC wire so I just might be wrong about that.
-
While you seem to be getting slightly less change in resistance I feel it is enough for Replay to work. I was concerned that perhaps you were not using the International firmware so I flashed mine to the US version and Replay still worked. I'm not understanding that unless the Theme is allowing Replay to work. Here is a snip of Device Monitor showing firmware version anyway. It was my understanding that the International firmware was required for Replay but now it appears not, I'll be farther looking into that.

I thought those Kanger coils had too much resistance change, here is SS316L Clapton on DNA250C. Also included is profile page. Replay is working.
-
0.80 to 0.89 is hardly any change, here is mine, while the resistance is much higher than your note the % of change here. You are getting a 12% approx. increase and mine is around 18%, I'm thinking that Replay should work with that. Mine here is with Kanger SS316lL drop in coil heads, I see more of an increase than expected, I'll post a screen using a SS316 Clapton on next post in a couple of minutes.
-
In EScribe's Device Monitor does it show the resistance climb from cold to hot? Also, if not already, choose "Watts" for your material even though your using ss316, give that a try. And choose that same "watts" profile on the mod as well. With TC working but not Replay something must be being overlooked.
-
I have to ask, what kind of wire are you using for the coil? You did say TC worked so maybe not that good of a question I guess.
-
-
You should be OK at that resistance with most TC wire . Keep in mind that when using a wire like SS316 which has very little change in resistance from cold to hot any false/poor connections between the coil and board will start to show (interfere) with the lower you go down in resistance.

Go here for help with that. https://helpdesk.evolvapor.com/index.php?a=add&category=1

If you have nothing copper to use a small disc cut from a disposable aluminum pie pan would be good enough to experiment with.
-
keep after it, you should find it. Try the copper shim, I'm pretty sure it's going to make a difference.
-
Is there enough pressure against the battery to make a good connection? You might try adding a thin piece of copper between the cap and cell negative as a shim just to see if that makes any difference.
