  1. The board does have short circuit protection that will prevent it from firing below something around 0.08 ohms. That being said there could be a partial short going on where the resistance is is real low but still able to fire. Inspect the 510 socket on both mod and atomizer. Check the mod's 510 for any metal slivers, use a magnifying glass if needed. Then without an atomizer connect the mod to EScribe and start Atomizer Analyzer. You should get just a ? mark without an atty. Next slowly screw in atomizer the atomizer, if the reading is of expected resistance then try firing it. It is possible in some cases to have the mods 510 positive post short against the atty's 510 negative if off center. Proceed with caution till you get it figured out. Let us know your results please.
  2. It appears that Windows 11 can be made to run from a USB flash drive. It also appears that apps can be added to the Win 11 image prior to creating the bootable flash drive.
  3. I removed the cell from my mod with a DNA100C and it will not connect to EScribe without it. Did you have yours powered with a battery? So yes it must be powered with a battery.
  4. What model of HCigar mods do you have?
  5. Appears to go up as high as 99,999 automatically.
  6. I was thinking that I didn't have one that has more than 10,000 puffs but I do. Change here to show puffs.
  7. So after 9,999 what happens on the next puff?
  8. This is probably worth mentioning even if it doesn't apply here. There have been a few instances reported where primary on 3D printed mods where the USB port is slightly recessed in the body not allowing the USB male to go it all the way.
  9. Generally if a DNA60 mod is made in China it will most likely use a Chinese made charging board. While Evolv's charging boards aren't all that expensive they cost probably 5 times more over there.
  10. Regardless of what brand board was used it should still work as claimed.
  11. Tek Division advertises their mod as having a 1 amp type C charger board. Evolv's type C charger board is a 2 amp board. Just thought I'd mention this.
  12. There are only two themes posted here at the moment. Be sure to save yours prior to changing it. https://forum.evolvapor.com/files/category/14-dna-60-color/
  13. Still too much for a high amp cell. Is the wheel that tightens the cell tight enough?
  14. I don't understand those squiggly lines at the beginning of charging. As far as voltage drop if yours looks comparable to mine then you good to go for that. I plugged mine in without a cell installed, it looked wild but still not like yours.
  15. That's 3.72v on the voltage drop with full charged cell, you should expect yours to be about the same. Were the 3 screws on the top plate in need of tightening. Did any screws appear loose.?
  16. After you take a puff and RDY shows that means "Replay Ready" . If that is the puff that you want to save highlight the play icon and hit the fire button. Now it should be in Replay mode. To take it out of Replay mode highlight the play icon and hit the fire button.
  17. You might consider completely removing that plate to see that there is no anodiztion interfering with it's connection to the chassis.
  18. How many ml's of liquid is that 150 puffs?
  19. One thing that I would be looking if I did indeed have one would be that top plate on the mod. That plate grounds the battery to the chassis, check to see if screws are tight. Most likely the 3 screws that hold the board into the chassis provide the ground for the board, check to see if those are tight. Remove cell before trying to tighten that bottom screw. Do this only if you are comfortable doing so. It doesn't appear as easy to get to the boards screws like on mine.
  20. No this is an Evolv v1 reference mod issued for beta testing.
  21. I tried EagleRock's .ecig file and didn't see any problem with it.
  22. I was going to post this yesterday morning but changed my mind, well I decided to go ahead and post it. This is after one full tank and starting a 2nd tank on the same Samsung 20S 18650 (2000mAh, 30 amp). The voltage drop on the 2nd firing is 3.40 volts. 35 watts with 2 boost and 2 warmth. Standing voltage taken with meter after this was 3.65 volts. The 1st puff here is Rplay on,
  23. It appears to me that your not supplying the board with the needed power. Could be a number of things, weak battery, poor battery coonection to battery contacts, ect. 3.29 volts drop on a full charge cell is a problem.
  24. Hoover your mouse over where the red arrow is pointed at and post the voltage reading. Nevermind I see 3.29v on the right.
