I have one mod with a VT V-2 smooth black, it works very well.

To check whether locked or unlocked use EScribe to verify, make sure to choose the Profile that you are using. If you make a change on the mod via theme be sure to hit the "Connect and Downlod Settings" to see any changes. The lock generally shows slightly open when unlocked but may be hard to see. This varies with different themes. Constantly asking if new coil is normally an indication that the resistance has greatly changed. Use Atomizer Analyzer to determine the stability of your 510 connection, it s should be making connection long before it bottoms out. If it makes connection with the last 1/8 turn then you most likely found the problem. Did the firmware update accomplish anything? Locking should not be necessary under normal conditions.

Perhaps try a different USB port, preferably one on the back of computer. (If desktop)

Have you tried using a different USB cable?

If it were me I would just get another screen and try it again. Try the screens operation before bending. It is most fragile close to the screen. Remember a DNA C board requires battery power to operate.

I can only guess here but I'm thinking that the screens ribbon got damaged during installation....just a guess.

Care must be taken to protect the parts that can melt, preferable to disassemble. I use a high watt gun and use silver solder and flux as with plumbing for the ground connection if it attaches to the 510 body. I am by no means an expert about this, just my 2 cents.

Having the proper CSV file for your batteries will only make your battery gauge and % more accurate. Battery life will not change. There are two settings that effect battery charge life and they are Cell Soft Cutoff and Charge Mode. I'm using 2.75 volts for 18650 cells and 4.2 volts for charge mode, this pretty much gives the most from each charge. There may be a possibility your cells are not genuine, just something to be considered. Using Device Monitor with the cells boxes checked will show your voltage drop while firing, could you post a Snippet of that here please?

Use Google Chrome for your browser. Right click on post and select "Translate to English" On occasion you have to use the window that appears when translating to set the languages.

If you are going to bridge gnd to B- and T2,3 and 4 to B+ then you only need the center wire from pack to T1.

The board has a maximum voltage output of about 3.5 volts. Your live ohms while not shown is about .7 ohms. When these figures are put into a Ohm's Law calculator the result is 17.5 watts. You can get higher wattage output by using a lower resistance coil.

If because it says DNA200, well at the time the 200 was the only board to use EScribe.......then he others came along. Even though it says DNA200 it is for all the Escribe capable boards with the exception of the Go board.

Nifethal 70 SteamEngine_NiFethal70-DNA200.csv Nife70 and Nife30 are generally the same wire. One lists Ni content and the other lists Fe content.

If still having issues with screen connect mod to EScribe. At top left of EScribe select "Help" tab then "About EScribe, the Evolv logo will appear in the center of your screen. Click on the logo 5 times and then open :Device Monitor. You will now have considerably more information on the left side. Look for "Screen Disconnects", if other than zero then the screen is not connecting properly for whatever reason (improperly in socket, bad ribbon, ect)

In Device Monitor check the box for (battery) voltage. While firing note what the voltage drops down to. If dropping below 3.1 volts then not enough power is being supplied to the board. This could be low charge on battery, poor battery or bad connections from battery to battery sled connectors.....ect. You should have no problem achieving 30 watts with correct power input. Edit: I'm assuming that Relay is off on above graph.

That was the cause on one of my 75's.

Perhaps it's Goggle Chrome doing the translating as that is what I use. I tried with Firefox ans Edge and it wasn;t there.

The Forum's software does a reasonable job of translating. Right click on the post and select "Translate to XXXX" If it says it is unable select "Options" and the the known language or unknown. Replay must first be enabled for the profile in EScribe. Edit: Replay can be enabled in theme without first enabling in EScribe, at least in some themes.

Then there's this, if you are only using one and are keeping the batteries fully charged in the other 7 then your batteries life will get shorter. Removing them from a mod when not in use is probably best. The voltage on a cell being stored is best kept at around 3.6 volts.
