Nichrome by any other name is still Nichrome. I had to look up what a TFV16 was.

This is the first time that I hear about this particular problem, others have had a problem with mod not coming out of deep sleep or had no connection to battery. Perhaps someone else has some ideas but you should contact Evolv for a remedy. https://helpdesk.evolvapor.com/index.php?a=add&category=1
-
Also if you haven't already do a hard reboot either with EScribe or take the battery out and put it back in.
-
When connected to EScribe it fires the coil normally? How about posting a screen shot of Device Monitor while firing? Like this one.

A DNA250 has the same physical dimensions. Edit: DNA200 board available here: https://www.evolvapor.com/shop https://downloads.evolvapor.com/dna200.pdf https://downloads.evolvapor.com/dna250.pdf

Perhaps this will be of some help: https://www.protovapor.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/XPV75C-Instructions-V1.1.pdf

Perhaps something here might be of some help: https://appuals.com/fix-usb-device-not-recognized-on-windows-10/ Also maybe have a look at your UEFI/Bios settings pertaining to USB ports.

I don't know if they used a JST plug to attach the battery sled to the balance tap on board or not but most likely they soldered the wires on. It looks as if the battery tap is not connected. If you are unable to check this yourself I suggest you start a ticket with Evolv rather than sending it back to China.
-
Then regardless of results connect to EScribe and go to Device Monitor and note what the voltage of each cell reports and post it here.
-
Connect to EScribe , go to Mod tab then Battery tab. Check to see that the correct number of cells is listed, if not change it to the correct amount and upload setting to device. I believe yours has 3 cells.

I'm wondering if you have an early version of Escribe that doesn't work with the color boards, other than that?
-
No problem as long as they are in your FW folder, if not download earlier service packs and they will be put in there. Tools/Apply Service Pack at top left of EScribe to flash it. Just pick the one that you want.

https://downloads.evolvapor.com/dna250color.pdf I have no idea about lights, perhaps someone will chime in. The battery tap configurations are in the data sheet. I solder bridge mine right on the board......or you can wire it. Generally the boards are the same, there are some exceptions like Vaporshark and others that remove parts of the buttons or add daughter boards. 2 x2xxxx is same as 2 18650's, you may want to change the discharge profile but that should not be necessary. Which of your mods is the donor? I'm guessing the Vapecige squonk, the board from mine is in another mod.

Only when the material greatly differs for the known TCR values, but Replay should not be affected much by that, only TC. Keep in mind that I'm just a member like yourself (but forum moderator) and not an Evolv Tech. I just got my first color board last Christmas and only messed with Replay a few times in the last couple of months........but I do read the forum a lot.

Are these pre-made coil?
-
You might give this setting a try, change to "dubious coils" and upload to device. Easy to try and put back if it doesn't work out.
-
The wire it's self won't but any wonky connection between the board and coil can show up causing a slight change. Replay under these circumstances will sometimes work with a non TC wire (sometimes)
-
I decided to try replay in the SS316 profile. So I go into EScribe and check the box for Replay and upload the settings. I then try it out, no choice for Reply. I had checked the box in the wrong profile, That's corrected and Replay is working in the SS316 TC profile. Mistakes are easy.
-
I think that maybe your wire isn't SS, might be Kanthal or Nichrome. But I wouldn't expect that much change from a non TC wire so I just might be wrong about that.
-
While you seem to be getting slightly less change in resistance I feel it is enough for Replay to work. I was concerned that perhaps you were not using the International firmware so I flashed mine to the US version and Replay still worked. I'm not understanding that unless the Theme is allowing Replay to work. Here is a snip of Device Monitor showing firmware version anyway. It was my understanding that the International firmware was required for Replay but now it appears not, I'll be farther looking into that.

I thought those Kanger coils had too much resistance change, here is SS316L Clapton on DNA250C. Also included is profile page. Replay is working.
