  1. And maybe check that USB charging has not been disabled on the device.
  2. Of my 6 different brands all have been set, including LostVape Efusion Duo, just lucky I guess. (I run my own anyway)
  3. Off Topic: Did ya'll notice the default mod thermal settings also? Are the mfgr's really this lax and not doing this, or is it new users happy with a hard reboot? (I notice there were no resets of the data in his screen shots)
  4. Here's a quality 'smaller' sled 2@18650 that many modders rave about. http://bit.ly/2nitzk5 $4.25. He's even got 20700 sleds (If you didn't have all those 18650's)
  5. ".... not something we would warranty, however we do have replacement screens available here on our website." For purchase
  6. Not remotely relevant, but that phantom 3rd cell 'display' was fixed a few updates back in Escribe.
  7. Thanks @LeeWB3. We're all good, I'm just trying to help, and my post was just intended to get my noodle to my starting point. @dwcraig is much more knowledgable than I, but I'll re-read everything again, post coffee, to see if I have any thoughts.
  8. @LeeWB3 You described a large surface are coil that showed it was not even hitting your set temp AT ALL in 6 screen puffs. I only suggested a much higher wattage so we/you could actually see the power required to get there. The speed getting there is a balancing act between the other parameters, and I'm quite sure you've been told that.At no point did I even remotely insinute this: so to be argumentative you then go on to describe a completely different coil I take it you're having a bad day. Relax man.And as you say why not just ask what the fix was.Have a good day, I hope you solve your issues .... whatever they are. My comments are obviously of no value to you, so I won't be reading or replying.
  9. So from all of that and your print screens, neither mod is hitting the temperature you've set.You describe a claptionized coil, which IMHO needs much more than ~30 watts for initial heating. I'd suggest you set both mods to at least 100w and do some print screens at that setting. Couple more things. Let each mod and atty sit for 5-10 minutes before using in TC so we're sure you're using a room temp mod and atty. Also, please include a print screen of your profile setting. You're at least half way there. Edit: if your concern is Mod Calibration, what is the current setting for Mod resistance of each?
  10. @sdmf74 I gotta start by saying I agree with you 1 million %, and have commented/complained about this before myself. This happened BG (before giz) and my old tired brain is full of crap, so lemme explain. And your confusion is well justified, it's not just you. *** 2015-10-21 EScribe 1.0.35.2 *** This was the only software listed that was misplaced by date. *** 2016-08-08 EScribe 1.2 SP3 *** Notice the date on this one, yup, the OLD FDA deeming regulations date where it was a mad rush for every vape related company including Evolv. Really minor bug fixes were found, but with no clarity and uncertainty if software changes are/were allowed, minor tweaks have been added. *** EScribe 1.2 SP4 *** Was the next release and you'll notice there have been NO RELEASE DATES attached to it, or any other updates since. I truly wished they would decouple the update versioning. 1 set of versioned updates for the mods with relevant change documentation. Different versioning for the software with relevant change documentation. Although that is what I wish, not being a ENDS Manufacturer, there may be legalistic reasons for the way it's being done.
  11. A full print screen. All the information is valuable
  12. Only ever used the 114 octane in my younger days. IIRC it was Purple and a unique clean smell, unburned and at the exhaust. When setting up street races, it could help identify the badass engines. If ya don't wanna blow your face off, limit it via your kanthal max.
  13. I'm just barely a pretty face, and not a builder. I also don't vape that low, but I have a couple thoughts. Could it be a bad solder joint or your battery not making good contact? Is it with one atty or with all atty's? But @Chunky is one of the 'experts' and if I'm out to lunch, just say so. I have the thickest skin and won't be offended. I'll just go back to huffing some C14 in the corner.
  14. Hey, If you only care about quick and dirty, just plug in your battery specs into battery analyzer and it'll give you an answer. If you want accurate results for your battery, run battery analyzer like I suggested.
  15. No. Your battery should be about half full before. Yes, just create some golf/tennis ball sized loops of wire. Search here if you want more detailed instructions. @Retird just posted a video about a week ago. No. You will save and load with accurate information for your mod/battery. Your english is fine.
  16. @lawtran I'd suggest you run your own battery analyzer on that mod. For starters you've got 14.43 Wh's as your capacity, yet your battery curve is showing 16.6Wh battery. Easy to do, nothing special needed ..... just a bit of time. OR, just lower your Wh's
  17. @dleone32 I'd recommend you only ever buy a battery from Mooch's recommended list: https://goo.gl/4uXnPN Here's a reputable vendor http://www.illumn.com I personally use Sony's VTC5A's and VTC6's now. I want longer run time (3000mAh VTC6's) as my style does not require higher amps.
  18. I'd get some NEW quality batteries if those are old and worn Can you clarify if it's a single or dual battery to humor me? Your words were great, add that to your clear print screens.
  19. OP did mention 'batteries' but the Therion 75 also came as a single battery squonker. So me not seeing multiple individual cells, made an assumption. Either way, that's a whole lotta difference in board temp and I stand by that post (except the single battery part.)
  20. @jonnyw2k Those screen disconnects count every single time it's encountered, and resets itself to zero IIRC upon removing the batteries or a stats reset (old and can't remember). I can go weeks with 0, then a rash of them, then back to zero. The count is not erroneous.
  21. @giz_60 Yet the Print screen only shows tick boxes for Pack, and not cell 1, cell 2. My bad as I don't own one.
  22. Mystery 3000 mAh Efests, or old used/fake LG'sBoard temp at 60F higher than room temp in pic 1Board temp at 50F higher than room temp in pic 2And then Battery issues? You don't say. Sure sounds like battery is being pushed hard Kudos for the perfect Print Screens @Chunky it's a single cell.
  23. Considering there are no true 3000 mAh 35A 18650's, or ANY Efest batteries on Mooch's approved list, I'd really suggest you run your own battery analyzer for your batteries. Easy to do, and guaranteed accuracy for your mod only.
  24. The 75 So to clarify the Vt75 nano since the update reads as charged, then drops a couple percent off the first vape, climbs back up then drops off again. Am losing 20 - 40% of my batteries since the update, prior it ran from 100% down to about 12%. - The drop then climb is normal as the battery comes back to its resting voltage. Do you notice there's MUCH less sag on your 200 image(which is a bit unfair comparison). I wish you could put your mouse pointer on the low point after firing, you'll probably see your batteries are hitting the cutoff. Good call on replacing it. The 200 The Vaporshark runs a Lipo 3S 9volt, the first battery killed off a cell after about 8 months of use, the new battery an exact replacement, seems to jump from 80% to 100% on the charge and never charges above 4.12, all other ( non lipo) batteries seem to charge to 4.20. Then the battery on first use will promptly drop to about 78%. <- Can you check if yours is set to max charges or max puffs (mod tab)? Maximize charges will only charge to 4.1 volts but gives you close to twice the battery life. Because of that your watt hours are out, hence the inaccurate %.
  25. @buellbloke That update you downloaded was probably just for Escribe, and not firmware for your mod, which was probably at the latest June 2016 version. What do you mean 'bugging out'? What kind of battery, and what's your 'cell soft cutoff' set for?I don't understand what 'always felt the vape on the DNA200 in TC with nickel was lack lustre. My batteries could be getting old I suppose' the VS200 is a Lipo, but a Device Monitor Print Screen while firing would answer so many questions. I can't recommend what options needs to be checked without a bit more clarity. But no worries, you're at the right place.
