We don't know of any major plans or updates. I guess you could turn the screen brightness down to its lowest setting but the don't draw much power as is. You should open a Help Desk ticket about any planned updates or your feature request. Link in my signature line.

Glad you're all set and working fine. Your Profile 8 might have the 'enable replay' box checked. Many well intentioned Theme Designers allow Replay to work when a TC material is chosen which causes crazy shit for unsuspecting users.
-
Can you post a FULL Device Monitor screenshot showing only the 5 fields in the image below. 2 puffs, 1 before Replay, and 1 when the problem occurs. Also a full screenshot of the profile you're using. I might as well ask what theme is on your mod? Thanks

What's with this estimating? How can you prepare your coil properly, ensuring there are no hotspots, burning off oils and salts on your fingers, firing properly from the center out? At a minimum you need a coil tab/build station/ another mod. Something. AIO's can be the most finicky for anything other than straight watts. Even at that SS is much easier to use in Replay and even that requires proper preparation. Here's a video of Todd building the Psyc. He surprisingly misses after he builds the coil to put the cap and chimney on top to check for any shorts or stray wire. https://youtu.be/rPWxFhBXsd4?si=L6QjCS2q-wKnj-pg&t=390

That part is usually due to an ohm mismatch or an unstable coil. How are you getting your current coil ohms and how much is it different from the mod display usually? Without a computer, pull the battery for 5/10 minutes for a fresh read. Nichrome will always be hit and miss. It is not a regular TC material. You need a long puff to get the 'ready' and it should be fine afterwards. Also, go into settings, click those 3 dots up at the top and let me know the firmware on it. Just saying, my Psyc (not in a San) with a fully threaded flushnut like you is within .01 or 2 from the external mod.

Describe your coil. And bridge or rba.

You should really verify that with the Help Desk. ⬇️ Link in my signature line. ⬇️

With over 25K on your mod, it hardly seems new, but if it is ... reach out to your place of purchase. Your mod (thank you for that screenshot) looked fine while firing. I have never seen your 1st issue (needing to plug in) to awaken the mod. I'm at a loss, but you can and should open a 'Help Desk' ticket. Link in my signature line.

What battery are you using? Can you post a screenshot like below (Same 3 fields only) while taking a puff. Hover over the puff midway and click for that vertical line. Ideally with a pretty full battery.

repair Lost Vape Thelema Solo DNA100C repair
Wayneo replied to skatingnobody's topic in Modders' Forum
Yeah, good idea. It's already got a good bend it (#1), so it shouldn't touch the fire button in #2. You can get a new replacement screen here; https://www.protodiy.com/product/replacement-dna-screen/- 1 reply

I would not use the word 'stack', but yes you could use 2@18350. THAT would be the main problem for me.

ROTA DEFINE Theme (For Thelema DNA250c)

That DM screenshot looked much better. AGAIN I believe you started with a SteamShell RBA. What RBA did you use for the above?
-
Thank you for all that you cleared up. Yesterday your Device Monitor showed differently to today. When you pushed the fire button, the voltage dropped (as it should) Today when you pushed the fire button, the voltage went up, no sag (which is backwards/odd/wrong) and it shows your coil losing resistance while it should be staying the same or increasing. Yet you say your 0.8Ω stock coil works fine. Do you have any other RBA's you could try in this mod OR any other DNA's you can try with this RBA? That drip tip should always be snug, not superman tight.
-
What manufacturer makes this? Post link. So is that a hand wrapped coil in an RBA or a stock coil in a bridge? Did you change "mod resistance" ? How did it get to 0.15? And what is it now? I need you to use 'escribe' words. What do you mean by "Initialized all settings." ? What do you mean by " .... something is off." ? Finally, I'd like to see a FULL Device Monitor screenshot like DWCraig posted way up top, with only these 5 parameters clicked.
-
Never heard of this coil. What 'mod resistance'? Are you talking about escribe -> mod -> electrical -> mod resistance? The left side of your screen looks nothing like the right side. Left side shows: 16watts, 0.984Ω coil. Right side shows: 31watts, 0.219Ω coil. Battery voltage drop while firing looks terrible. If that is a .28Ω coil, re-measure the resistance of the coil on the mod.
-
@nicoparkk Check your coil. No problem with your chipset.
-
No, 2 battery minimum. 6V input minimum. https://downloads.evolvapor.com/dna250color.pdf
-
That would be the third digit (thousandths) of an ohm. I'd say it's stable. As your mod and atty both come back to the ambient temperature they sync up. On mine, if it's near the midpoint (like .284Ω) it might fluctuate from .28Ω to .29Ω.
-
Those numbers should be decreasing while you make a snug connection. Then you should watch the values. It'll be noticeable when the mod applies low power to the coil. It can be dirty threads on your mod, atty or something with the coil. Hotspot, coil not actually centred under the holdown and shifted a bit.
-
Sounds like your coil. Maybe a small hotspot has developed. You can run Atomizer Analyzer to look at the stability of the coil. It should fluctuate a few thousandths of an ohm once it's cooled down.
-
That's NOT an Evolv component, board or issue. Either measure an integrated flushnut connector and work backwards or reach out to BBV.

There's a reason there's a USB standard. Check the micro standard for pins. And ......... if it's sitting in a dock, you won't be using on-the-go.

Rereading what I've written, I'd suggest you open a Help Desk ticket. There's already a battery management chip in there. Link in my signature.

You'll wanna use page 13 and 14 of the datasheet. Probably leave the usb micro exposed for while you're not home. And they need to be done on the board no matter what. https://downloads.evolvapor.com/dna250color.pdf
