  1. @lupinehorror You can check that on board up button by removing 4 bolts. I'd suggest you do that first and check in DM. I'm assuming from your comments you're only sending in the board?
  2. Did you check the above? DW circled the button for you in red?
  3. @zark I have never heard or found any Ni200 mesh anywhere, ever. So why would anyone expect it to work with a Nickel setting. If you look at the OG post, after placing the mesh only portion in another atty it just does NOT work in Replay. Hmmm. As far as Replay goes ................. using SMOKs wattage ratings, does the resistance even rise while firing (from what to what)? Device Monitor printscreen while firing? What do they advertise for mesh material?
  4. I thought you were already a Pizza guy, fancy coil builder, and eBay mod seller?
  5. With it apart (panel off), did you plug it in and see if device monitor still shows the button being pressed? The actual board buttons are on the fire button side, and wires are usually routed away from them.
  6. There you go. In your last printscreen, right there in the middle, see it says Buttons: Up. Then you said you set it to 15, but it fired at 29. Now at 60. Seems/sounds like you have a sticky button, at a minimum. All 3 actuators/buttons are external to the board. You'd need to remove the panel over the buttons, and clean it ou if there's any leakage or find what's causing the sticking. Good luck
  7. After you held down those 2 buttons for a few seconds, could you change the watts? There are 3 different lock modes on the box. If you start with it not working and then plug in and start escribe - device monitor .......... what does it say down at that very last line on the left hand side? Your pic did not show it. DW's pic shows Mode: Charging, Power Locked.
  8. @babis1098 The official Help Desk link is in my sig. IIRC the last option is 'Suggestions'. That would be your best bet.
  9. No, not really. You can lock it, so no button works until you until you unlock. The only button you need to worry about is the select button while using the mod
  10. @arby What is the SP number you have installed? Also are you plugging in directly to your PC (no hub). Also, have you tried different cables?
  11. @lordmage What can I say. I am no longer curious, and have no idea. (Long cuss filled rant removed before posting) My only suggestion would be for users to open an official Help Desk trouble ticket for problems of this nature (where it's clearly more than a usability problem). P.S Just so you know, Evolv has never asked me to temper my words in this moderator role.
  12. Very pragmatic approach @nibo
  13. @lordmage IMHO I'd wait for an update from @nibs to hear that her mod has been returned and is working fine.
  14. Welcome, Can you go into escribe, then Device Monitor, wait about a minute, then post a full printscreen from there. Did you do anything just before this started happening?
  15. That search bar works really well for users with tone and attitude. Common problem, probably half a dozen different answers, but ofcourse we don't know what you've tried from your descriptive post. Welcome
  16. Minimum Replay requirements DNA75C, 250C, or GO International software installed Theme that supports Replay Success best practices Ni200, Ti, SSxxx, NiFe or any TC capable material (wire) as your core wire In a profile that supports Replay.
  17. Straight up ....... I honestly don't know. And I won't know until I get one to test it out. If that's what it took for you, I'm not gonna argue . Do you mind posting a full printscreen of Device Monitor while firing? Over on the left, tick (enable) Power, cold ohms, live ohms.
  18. Thanks for that. I don't have any mesh attys. In general, your preheat settings look fine. If it's now working fine, then leave it off. BTW, you have 2 material types for SS316, the one you posted was for straight 316, and this profile's using the 'L' variant. All's good, just pointing that out.
  19. Post an escribe printscreen of the profile you're using, so we can see what was set.
  20. Last time I used a Windows box, Wordpad was not a straight text editor. Don't you have something like notepad or text editor to use? Change the file extension from dot txt, to dot csv.
  21. Don't use Excel. Download an already created file. Use a straight text editor. Save line 1, the header In the subsequent lines fill in the values created in excel. Every temp/resistance pair in your file will generate that vertical line. Mind posting your raw data here?
  22. What's not to like @nibo The soldering to their board needs repairing, and being in the EU, you've been given an EU authorized repair shop. Probably cheaper shipping for you, less customs and duties issues? No?
