  1. @LanzarotechrisIt's really up to the theme author and what he has chosen to be displayed or changed. There is a special review and comment section for each. Instead of calling it the Preheat/Punch tab, just the word Preheat allows the use of a larger font. For display purposes I would have used the same, but for troubleshooting, the quasi official Evolv definitions/norms (for me anyway, is the only way for my old tired brain to think in wattage or TC (actually TP) mode. )
  2. @Lanzarotechris I'm a Mac High Sierra user. I also find 'starting up' escribe slower with this latest version. No idea about the next release. After trying 3 different browsers Safari, Firefox and Chrome I still don't see the About Me. No idea about your battery issue. Happy vaping.
  3. No idea if you're talking in a Theme (which can vary), or Device Monitor. I'll talk Device Monitor so you know what CAN be available in a theme. In a Profile where a NON TC material has been selected you can do a BOOST PUNCH. Set 1 second slider. Effectively a hard normal soft like other mods, to give a beefy coil that extra to start vaping quicker. In a Profile where a TC material has been selected you can do a Preheat of the coil. You Preheat it by punch/watts, either by a slider 1-11 again (notice no timer), or to a temp, before the Preheat function ends.
  4. Damn, I wished you hadn't noticed that. And here's where we get into different mods again. This will all sound Greek, you might need to read it a couple times. If both mods were properly thermally calibrated your room temps would be closer. If both mods had their internal resistance properly set, your mod would take into account those unique minute differences in connection losses up to and including the 510 connector of the mod. Now even if both those were done, the non C mod (Your 75) uses the info above to derive the 'refined' value of the ohms of that coil at 70F based on that derived room temp at the time. (So long as you didn't lock the resistance). Here's the difference A Color mod uses the current Ω and same current derived room temp as its base values, and writes that into the profile it was created. Hence 'a' difference. BUT if one were to refine your SS304 coil to 70F it would drop the value even further to ~.1725Ω (using the tcr of 0.00100) compared to your .182Ω on the 75. These all play into it. I dunno, I can't remember seeing or noticing an 'About me'.
  5. Different architecture and generation boards. On your 75, click Atomizer Analyzer button. Different generation board. Click Diagnostics in Device Monitor.
  6. YOU are over complicating things, and using terminology that has different meanings here. Use your 30 watts in a straight Replay profile. No TC, just a TC capable material/wire. Adjust the BOOST PUNCH to Preheat your wire. Enable Replay, when you like the puff. Turn down warmth. Only think flavor. If you have an issue after that, tell us. Once you START ranting, I stop reading. Sorry man, just trying to be helpful. OR If TC's working for you, just use that
  7. Just to add a few points. When you plug in your mod, the escribe display will change depending on the board type. Some will show different options/features. When I get a new juice or coil I'll run a tank or two in straight simple watts. TC can blast through flavors or even burn or mute them at different temps. When I understand the juice and coil I'll fire up Device Monitor. Boost Punch for the 1 second PREHEAT you want. Slider 1-11, proportional depending on settings. Device Monitor tells all and will show exactly what's going on with each parameter change. I can't figure out if you're ranting about using your mod in Watts mode, Replay in watts mode, TC, or TC with Replay. And I cant talk about the UNKNOWN settings, cuz I just don't know about them.
  8. You might want to upgrade your firmware. The .25 is the DL coil, not the MTL coil. The Max Puff Time limit is under the 'Safety' tab. Cheers.
  9. @TorturedZen IMHO the OP is purposely vague in his description, needs and intended purpose, so I'll take a wild a*s guess. As weed/cannabis is being decriminalized in many places, or CBD for medicinal purposes ........... one could put a non liquid (think weed/shatter) in a tank, and heat it till it vaporizes, then inhale after their timer ends for a full puff. Specialized vaporizers like that but much more rudimentary have been around for years for that market. OR SO I'VE HEARD Or perhaps has Strabismus, allowing them to focus that close. There are other specialized forums for that use case.
  10. Solidly attached. I'm not gonna start jamming anything anywhere. Sorry.
  11. Checked and crashed with High Sierra here.
  12. You need a minimum of Escribe SP18 for Mojave. Escribe Link found in my sig.
  13. Your post was edited, but you might want to describe how they had you build your new coils so others can benefit.
  14. @asmcriminalConsidering this ^^^ from over a year ago, what can I say. You can open a ticket with Evolv. Link in my sig
  15. @steamer861 SP18 now available, and works. Link in my sig.
  16. In your other post, you were already told 30 watts, boosting to 40. The answer will not change. Boost and warmth - 11. Tiny 900mAh battery (large for pods) Many are vaping in the 11 - 13 watt range on these non rebuildable pods. This is not an Aromamizer Titan atty holding 30ml of juice sitting on a 400 watt 4S Lipo.
  17. N80/Ni80 is a good old regular power/watts material (wire). No profile required. Having said that you can download curves from steam-engine or create your own within escribe 'Materials' tab. Welcome
  18. All I can think is that perhaps the coil was not at ambient temp when you went into temp control. Maybe take the atty off your mod, hit the fire button so the mod shows check atomizer, let the atty sit for a bit (say half hour), reinstall atty answer 'yes' for a new coil if prompted. Ideally it'll show a resistance lower than before. If that doesn't work, What kind of atty, and can you describe the coil
  19. Is your mod is actually a 3 button color screen Paranormal 250c? Last I checked the online manual was not for these newest boards. I'd suggest you start with a YT video or two. This one's pretty long but DJLSB Vapes is quite thorough. The 75C and 250C both have the same interface/themes.
  20. What type of material are you using AND post the link for the material file
  21. @Dougvapes If you're using SP17, I'd suggest you upgrade to SP18. Link in my sig
  22. @iltrainu Sp 18 is the latest and works. Link in my sig.
  23. My Rhombus panels are attached. No suction cup or alternates in the package.
  24. That mod's not Color (unless there's an update from March 2017), VT75D looks decent but not their latest.
