NO, I can't see this being a mod issue. All a mod does is supply power to a coil. Other forums can help you better because it can be anything from concentrates in the juice, carmelization due to power too low or temp you set too low, coil needs cleaning, etc.
-
You're very welcome. Enjoy that sexy mod 🖐️ The behavior and meaning of the 'temp protect' warning has now changed. (your original post) IMHO On these color boards, you should read the resistance of every new coil even if not prompted, same thing for every time you change from one profile to another.
-
Can you put another atty (with a longer 510) on your ultranude and read the resistance. It doesn't have to squonk, just be longer.
-
Does that ultranude have a spring loaded 510 or a manual adjustment? Check that and ensure a solid connection.
-
Wow, if that's what the mod measured, you could check and clean all your connections, and check the grounding wires and screws. Failing that, hopefully you can contact the maker or place of purchase.

In escribe on Profile 8 "use replay on this profile" is checked/ticked "Puff saved, playing" is NOT checked/ticked Upload settings to mod On mod Ensure you're in Profile 8, named replay. After a couple puffs if you don't see the word replay on your mod screen, post a printscreen of device monitor
-
Did you actually measure it?
-
Ya know, in your original post you said My response was only with regards to Replay, and you show me Profile 2, not 6 (which was bolded), but now you tell me Replay does work. Either way, the csv you posted should just be thrown out. Try to use the standard SS316 material profile on your mod. Edit: Added more info for you I have no clue about your mod and customizations done by the vendor. So this refers to Evolv defaults. In your Profile 2, change the Material back to watts Profile 6 should be your SS316. Try your mesh there in TC Profile 4 is Nickel which you probably don't use, so you can jiggy with that one if you must.
-
Thanks for the printscreens. It looks to me that Replay should work, and I see you have replayed thousands of puffs. Have you used this same profile successfully to replay other atomizers. EDIT: OR just post a printscreen of Profile 6
-
Klap Using Device Monitor with Cold and Live Ohms ticked, what are the starting and ending values (while taking a puff)? Replay does not require a material profile. If you want the resistance to change, cut off some of the width (Not the clamped ends).
-
Search here works well. Wait for a puff you really like and hit Replay. The mod will try to replicate that for you. Correct. 316 might not work at all, and the temp of the vape will be lower than the number on the screen. 430 should work and the temp number will not be accurate. If you setup the watts for TC according to uwell's max recommendations, it won't be any more dangerous than straight watts. You won't damage your mod.
-
Replay mode in straight watts will offer you the dry-hit benefit of TC, without TC. They might work with either or both, but the temp set or displayed will be wrong.

Use US or International version of Escribe for replay?
Wayneo replied to Jonny Frontrow's topic in General Discussion
Use the International version of Escribe. Early release, SP19 Escribe Link in my sig. -
If it is new and you're sure it's the mod, you should contact your place of purchase for an exchange. Otherwise, open a Help Desk ticket and they will guide you. Link in my sig.

Hey @techbearus Now I actually have a thought/suggestion. Leave all your power settings the way they were, but increase the Max resistance value to 0.73 or 0.74 I don't own an Orion so I'm not sure if the 'Max' refers to the starting cold resistance, or the max it will allow the coil to reach. Lemme know if I'm a quack. Fingers crossed for you.

Seeing Room Temperature in Atomizer Analyzer is probably just an artifact/holdover from the more capable boards. It's a pod focused board with Replay. Replay is NOT TC so an accurate room temp is not necessary. Room temp is not even shown in Device Monitor. Boost will certainly decrease the ramp up time for your pod, possibly to the detrement of pod life. You're certainly fine if you want to submit a ticket to Evolv, but I think your mod is fine. Let us know if you get a different answer.

https://helpdesk.evolvapor.com/index.php?a=add&category=5 While I'm here, just wondering WHY you continually send others offsite for the escribe software? It is officially published here by the author, in English, and without passwords? Link in my sig.

re-flash the firmware <- Already in Escribe. Tools - Service Pack. If it's not there, you can click the link in my sig. suggestions <- Youtube. djlsbvapes has good ones. Watch something for a non color DNA

Moderator: Moved to a more relevant area (I think).

@SixOhThreeSam You can open a HelpDesk ticket here: https://helpdesk.evolvapor.com/?a=add

Have you tried multiple cables? Windows, Mac or Linux? Is there an error shown on your PC screen?
-
Yes. It's been over a year since I did my testing and never used it, so I have forgotten all the constraints. But you can see them via Device Monitor.
-
No idea, and I don't like guessing but it looks super close to Arial. 😀

Fonts are such a personal style thing. I prefer what they call 'Sans Serif' fonts. I think that's French for without Serifs which are the little frilly points at the ends of a character. So, I've colorized the Evolv default theme font and enlarged some fields to the larger size. If you're into that more minimal style, in the Clean Colors theme, Charlie used a special Microsoft font called Segoe UI which was meant for small displays. I used that font as well before. One last thing I've noticed. Let's say for your small size, setup 3 different sizes just as a visual test on the same screen. Like size 12, 13 and 14. All saying the same thing, and load them up. Now slowly tilting the mod up/down/sideways you might notice 1 looking 'fuller' than the other. That's the size I'd choose. Good luck.
