@SmokeyX "..... including resistance lock, which is a massive thing if you use TC on stainless steel coils. " Actually it has NEVER been promoted or required with any DNA mod (unlike other brands). If your coil has been prepared properly (no hotspots, secured, solid 510) you should not need to ever lock the resistance.3 points

Exactly my thoughts about you. 🙂😊 In the past 10 years of trying to help folks with DNA stuff I have come to the conclusion that when they have trivial issues or trivial questions, they are not trivial to them or they would not have posted.. The only stupid question/issue is the one that never gets asked or posted. 😊3 points

Here is the Data Sheet for the 250C. Lots of info if you care to read it. Also includes a wiring diagram for 2,3,4 cell devices. There is no 400C circuit board, just a 250C board that can function as a 400 watt device depending on how it is configured. Don't take this wrong but the barbs you throw in several posts aren't constructive. I see you just recently joined us, a friendly bunch around here, and I want to WELCOME you. https://downloads.evolvapor.com/dna250color.pdf3 points

Just pushed an update (1.6.0) that incorporates some of the UI elements from the Material-ish themes, including a replay warmth gauge on the main screen. Thank you so much @BlindBuck for the awesome idea! By default the theme will use the old UI. If you want to use the new UI elements go to System > Settings and then enable Material-ish on the mod. Hats off to Evolv devs, the Theme Designer should really be called UI Builder. It's the most overlooked feature of the DNA chips. @Pphish Sorry I couldn't get to your feature request. This and the next update to Material-ish themes took up all of my free time today. I'll try to get it done next week! @BlindBuck and everyone else feel free to share your customizations here. I'm glad you guys are using my themes and making them even better with your changes. Thank you!3 points

IMHO this theme still reigns supreme, right down to the hidden lock feature from the regular/main screen. Or how about the watts shown when in Replay mode (nope not what you're thinking). Nothing but Gold. Those special touches aren't talked about at all really, but once you see/use them you'll come to understand. It's just a pity that I couldn't add this as another 5 star review after 7 months and numerous updates.2 points

Then we want to hope that the less experienced user doesn't think that the theme or even its mod are defective ... Very few theme authors think about such things. It is so easy to implement, especially with regard to the power bank function: Condition "capable" => no => hidden. And then the power bank function is gone from the menu - no questions, no confusion.2 points

Hey, that could be a grouping right there. 3 or more in a grouping that changing the wallpaper, or selecting from the 3 choices will all look good. I would suggest gwyar's theme to look at, but I don't want to confuse you. But if you look at any one of the 'clean colors' themes, he selectively shows how to hide or show accurate batteries. You can do that for both the label name and the field. Or read this post of his (shortlink) https://tinyurl.com/yjrh6b6c Just trying to be helpful.2 points

16/07: I like the theme very much - for two simple reasons: A nicely reduced lockscreen and no "experiments" in the settings of the mod. Both of these are very important things for me, as the screens are often hopelessly overloaded (I also did earlier ...) and on the other hand, settings of the mod are often enabled, which often lead to problems in daily operation - not only for beginners. 07/17: Unfortunately, I have to massively correct my rating downwards, as I have now seen the stored system notifications and such a (partly wrong) sh ... does not belong published. If these are corrected, I will also increase my rating again2 points

I just downloaded it because the screenshot seemed incorrect ... He is - for whatever reason. It should be noted when evaluating that this is a theme for the 75C! If the wattage is greater than 99.9W, the display will be incorrect. In any case, it's interesting to see stock themes from other manufacturers.2 points

Ummmm, not quite right. #marketing That's just the name of the Mod. I be counting 4, yes four times they name the board/chipset. "featuring the DNA250c chipset with battery configuration of 4×18650 set in series" "all thanks to the Evolve DNA250c chipset that is being used."" "The Evolve DNA250c is a power regulation board created by Evolve" "DNA 250C Chipset" I stand by my initial post. I found your comment extremely rude and somewhat harrassing. Welcome 👋2 points

Yo @Ping, you might actually wanna learn how to do some of these customizations so you can do them on any theme. The changes done for you now might not make it into a future release. Screen timeout is on the 1st screen in theme designer, down at the bottom Date format change on the last tab 'language' down at the bottom. Watt increment in 3 places. If you're comfortable doing the 1st two, I can either write or post pics, your choice. Or, you could just wait. BTW have you seen their latest released irons. Nice thin top line.2 points

It's just a redundant condition to add to the theme, as the chipset already does this without limiting the ability to change material type to Watts. KA1 and N80 users already have to enable the hidden PK function and create a Replay PK profile in order to use Replay with non temp sensing coils... Normal replay profile will allow them to fire their atomizer but won't offer to save puff unless it detects you are using TC ready material. The default theme comes with Replay profile coil material set to Watts anyway:so adding another condition on top of that to the theme just takes away some functionality natively allowed in escribe and controlled by the chip already.. Also one of the co-founders of Evolv even discussed how Replay was geared towards people who didn't want to take the time to configureTC, but wanted to avoid dry hits and get the same flavor throughout their vape. The feature was marketed as TC for wattage only users. I know how to disable the condition in your theme so I can run my SS with Replay while using Watts as the material type, but the original functionality and idea for replay stems from the small amount of TC vapors amongst DNA chipset owners. I've already removed the condition from your theme myself but for who don't know how or just don't want to bother to modify the theme to allow for their vaping style, they will simply move to a different theme. Removing the condition still won't allow users to save the puff for non-temp sensing coil material, but it also won't restrict replay functionality to TC variables and vape style either; which replay was not meant to do. Here is the link to a video explaining the purpose of replay as told by one of the main Evolv designers: Still love the theme though!2 points

^^^^ Where is this hidden function you are talking about in Escribe? I am of no assistance with the other parts of the questions posed. Since "replay" has been released I only use three profiles and they are very simple and work as I would expect with this theme. Honestly I wish they would allow you delete/add profiles as I surely do not need eight of them anymore.lol Profile Name->Replay Yes/No->Coil Material (other coil material specific settings I adjust as needed (Boost, Preheat (power/temp), Punch etc...) Power-->No-->Watts (Used for coil break in and non temp sensing coil materials) Replay-->Yes-->Watts (Used 99% of the time in my use cases) 316L-->No-->316L Replay 2-->Yes-->316L (no point of use in my opinion I just have it still from initially playing with "replay")2 points

Just pushed the update. @Pphish finally got to your feature request, I hope you like it. Pre-heat power was never in the atomizer profile screen. That was very stupid of me I apologize for that. I never use Pre-heat/Boost so it completely went past me Atty lock is now available for all profiles. It was like that before until someone made the (right) suggestion to restrict it for TC profiles only. Since Evolv still lets you lock the resistance in any profiles I thought I should to. Let the user decide when and when not to do it. Here's the complete changelog: Major version 2.0.0 - Everyone should update! There has been a lot of new development in the recent weeks. This is a major update and everyone should update, especially anyone running 1.5.0 or lower. The theme incorporated two main screen UI since 1.6.0. Material UI has been made the default UI, and the old UI is now called Classic UI. You can enable Classic UI from the settings. Lock screen now shows the charging/power bank current when plugged in. There is also a new gauge when using the mod as a power bank. Atomizer Profile and New Atomizer Detect screens have been majorly overhauled. You can fire from the Atomizer Profile screen again. Atomizer Profile screen now lets you adjust the Pre-heat power. On the Atomizer Profile screen you can adjust the Pre-heat temperature either via a Punch gauge or via a Temperature field. You can switch between them with the new toggle. For more information see the UI reference picture below. Atomizer lock feature is now available in all types of profiles. Previously it was only available in TC profiles. This decision was made because EScribe lets you lock resistance in any profile, and sometimes it's necessary to lock the resistance in mods with a spotty 510 connection. Bugfix: Mystery click from "coil power" to "cancel replay" while replaying has been eliminated. Various other tweaks throughout the theme.2 points

@James I believe the questions were more along the lines of: 1. it seems with DNA250c devices, in EScribe you can configure 2,3,4 battery cells for your device. This is reflected in Theme Designer since you can get individual voltages for each (see my theme above). But @RMoniz above didn't seem to be able to see the voltage for his second cell in his 75c in my theme. And in EScribe it seems there is no info about how many cells there are for a 75c device. So our guess was that DNA75C devices, is it just defaulted to a single cell due to the way the batteries are wired, with no options in EScribe to define 2,3,4 cells, etc? There are some 75 devices with 2 cells, but it doesn't seem that you can individually address them in a Theme. 2. Is there an easy way in the Theme Designer to determine if a device is DNA250c or DNA75c? Is that what you meant by the power bank support suggestion? Does that mean 75c doesn't support power bank so that is a good way to tell which board it is? thanks for taking the time to help us all out while we fumble in the dark2 points

Great theme! I’m using the latest, V. 1.1.0. Just trying out the new REPLAY on a Lost Vape Mirage, DNA75C. I setup profile #8 as Replay, with Replay enabled, and coil material as SS316L. Temperature = OFF, Peheat = OFF. Yet while on Mod screen when in the #8 profile, Replay working, next to the OHM field, is a TEMP field. I’m CONFUSED, I know you can use Replay with TC profiles, but from what I’ve read from various Evolv staff messages on this forum, it’s not recommended and adds unneeded complications. I still have my other profiles for using TC if I like. So as I’m new to Replay feature, why would temperature be something you can change in your Theme under a REPLAY profile? And how would this effect REPLAY in general, like a saved Replay vape, are these on mod user changed temperature settings saved to Replay. Something odd here, or I’m still not getting all the Inter-relationships between Replay and TC. Thanks!2 points

Ahh I see. I myself mostly use the main screen, to check battery percentage and watts/resistance. Anything beyond that I use escribe, and that happens once in a blue moon. I wasn't aware that a good portion of the users use the mod to do all these things. I'll update the theme in a few days with the features that it's missing. Thank you guys for letting me know!2 points
