  1. The 3 board mounting hole are of a different configuration between the 75C and 250C. The two top holes are 13mm apart center to center on the 75C and the 250C they are 15 mm center to center. The 250C is also a bit longer due to the balance tap than the 75C. I would suspect that the bottom mounting hole of the board would vary some as well, I didn't look at that.
  2. I did this with the solder and paste used to solder water pipes (silver bearing solder and lead free tinning flux) using a miniature torch.
  3. I use an old cartomizer with it's end soldered shut, it works just as good as any other. But who these days has an old carto lying around?
  4. I'm think the one in the video was using an earlier firmware where the "check charge of battery" wasn't yet a feature. DNA boards only lock the power button (then sleep). None turn off. My Orion just sits there, I don't use it, the battery doesn't seem to drain anything noticeable. Mine lights the LED when locked and fire button is pressed.
  5. It is still draining the battery but at an extremely small rate, Evolv didn't publish a data sheet for the Go so I can't say what it is but is probably less than 7 mA
  6. As with all DNA boards the fire button can only be locked. The only "off" would be to remove the battery.
  7. I would think the default curve would be pretty close. It won't function any different only the battery meter will be more accurate. Are you having any type of battery issues, low battery error when firing, ect?
  8. I am not the person that did mine. The 3 cells have their tabs soldered together to be in series and they need to be undone and soldered together in parallel. An 1860 sled can be installed in that spot and the case fitted with magnets instead of the screws as some others have done.
  9. The dimensions of the FullyMax 900 are listed as (I rearranged the numbers for comparison ) 70 x 26 x 19 mm, the one that you linked to is 62 x 34 x 6 mm. The FullyMax 900 fits the space just right. I think you would have a problem with the 34 mm part of it. One really never knows the actual size of one till it's in your hand. There needs to be room for swelling so a tight fit is to be avoided.
  10. Here ya go https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/threads/evolv-ing-thread.736118/page-920#post-21206403
  11. With the Hana box kit from Ebay and a DNA75 board that Psyclone Mods was almost giving away one of the moderators here built me a Lipo powered DNA75 mod. The included 3s 950 Lipo from the kit was used but first it was opened and had it's cells wired from series to parallel (DNA75 is 3.7 v not 11.1v), a some what tricky operation and not for the faint of heart. So not including shipping or labor this is about a $20.49 mod. The deal on the DNA75 boards is long gone.
  12. Don't wait for Evolv to reach out to you, you reach out to them here: https://helpdesk.evolvapor.com/index.php?a=add&category=1
  13. I'm running the latest and it's 1.1 - SP33.2 Must be a typo
  14. It's quite possible that you might not have any problem inside them as they kind of seal. But since you have it out in front of you you might as well check them.
  15. In the switch? once dissembled, clean out any liquid that may have gotten inside....either your e juice or the alcohol.
  16. The screen sticks to the board. Be sure the screen comes with the board and not sticking in mod. Carefully pry off the metal cover of the switch (red arrow). Try to bend it as little as possible, remove rubber piece, remove small metal disc. Remove the screen prior to cleaning too. https://downloads.evolvapor.com/dna250.pdf
  17. The Lava box dna200 looks to have the typical set up for the buttons, a button on the face pushes against the button of the switch on the board.
  18. I just finished one this morning that I got from the Ebay guy. It was a Hotcig DX200 Does the Lava box use a daughter board for the switches? These are not clones, choose no battery, he will include one. He included two with mine. https://www.ebay.com/itm/HANA-MODZ-DNA-250-200-75-Do-It-Yourself-DIY-kit-11-colors-Free-Battery-incl-/112645968597
  19. So I finally locate VB's post showing the switch disassembled and the photo is gone.
  20. Make sure to pay attention to which way the metal disc in the switches go, it is just one way.
  21. I'm to understand that Lost Vape only works on one product at a time. Here's one more: https://vapordna.com/products/hcigar-vt75d-tc-dna-75c-box-mod

  23. When you press the fire button once with it locked does the LED light up? If it does that would indicate that the button it's self is functional. To unlock requires 5 fairly quick presses.
