It appears that your cells are in parallel so the board sees them as one.

Be sure to use a version found here: https://www.evolvapor.com/products/dnago Make sure your cable is capable of data transfer, some were shipped with charge only cables. I believe red light flashing means battery charge is depleted.

Rebel 250c squonk mod battery sag when firing
dwcraig1 replied to Chief Salty's topic in General Discussion
So I brought out my Hcigar Vt133 with it's 2 25r's @4.1 volts each. Fired at 90 watts, here is the result: I have put a couple of brand new Samsung 20S' in the charger, will check again with those tomorrow when charged. It looks to me that the cell are at fault, at least with mine, will know better tomorrow. -
Rebel 250c squonk mod battery sag when firing

Do you have a volt meter? Measure the voltage on the ends of the cells when firing, then measure from the sled contacts and compare. Measure at B+ and B- if necessary. This will also tell whether the cells are at fault. (if you get that big drop when measuring at the cells) -
Rebel 250c squonk mod battery sag when firing

Use the search feature of this forum, there are quite a few posts similar to your problem a while back on the Boxer mod, they use the same style sled contacts. -

Make the contacts hit the cell flat like not on the peak. -
Rebel 250c squonk mod battery sag when firing

More likely than not your battery sag is from the sled contacts....contact to cells is poor. What's with the extra long bare end of T1 wire? -

5 clicks is to turn off/on is the default setting, it can be changed in EScribe

Well for one you need to make sure that Replay is enabled in the profile that you are using. Also make sure your flat wire is SS and not Kanthal or Nichrome. EScribe will be most helpful in resolving this, note difference between cold ohms and live ohms when firing using Device Monitor, TC wire increases resistance while Nichrome and Kanthal remain constant. Without a resistance change when heated Replay can not work.

Newest firmware update 250c
dwcraig1 replied to Vapingturtle's topic in EScribe, Software and Firmware
Computer only, won't work with iPhone. Windows, Mac or Linux OS. Will it turn with power cable plugged in? -
Use device monitor in Escribe with the cell checked, fire it and hoover your mouse on the low point and read voltage (red arrow). If it's below what your soft cell cut off is that's why you get the message. If you see too much voltage drop look to all the connections from the battery to the board. If the battery adjustment screw can be removed do that. Clean all threads of cap with alcohol even if they appear clean, clean the mod's positive battery contact as well as each end of the battery. Most likely there is a poor connection between the battery and the board. Check what your soft cell cut off is set to, I would set mine to 2.75 volts.

Looking for a DNA75D? Try here: https://www.protovapor.com/product/evolv-dna-75-retail-box/

Take a look at ECigstats, under the tools tab in EScribe or Programs in Windows ect. Not there? download it. Might just be what your looking for.

I don't have an answer for you, I'm curious as well. The pack voltage is correct for 3 cells, does the mod work properly? Here is wiring configuration for 3S, note the bridge from 3 to 4 I suspect you will get an answer shortly from another member/staff

Here are what I believe are the newest releases for Mac, give one a try if you are using an earlier version. https://downloads.evolvapor.com/SetupEScribe2_SP19_US.pkg https://downloads.evolvapor.com/SetupEScribe2_SP19_INT.pkg

There were some 200 boards that said DNA250 on one side and looked like a 250 on that side, the other side looked like a 200. They mostly were used for replacement boards. If EScribe says it's a 200 then it's a 200.

This might not quite be the answer that your looking for but I have the same problem. The way I deal with it is to use a cable of "lesser quality", it only happens to me with my best cables.
