I don't have that device so can't answer you. If nobody gives an answer why not just contact Vapor Shark and ask them? Please let us know what you find out....

I've attached the csv file..... from the screenshot here you can see where to select Import Material (csv file)... Import it and it should show up in the Available Material list.. then select it there and click on the arrow I marked in red.... upload this to the device. Now you should be set to use the directions I gave earlier to create your profile and upload it...... SS 430.csv

I guess you did not want to do what I mentioned.... A tool is needed to set Mod Resistance thus the Atty Analyzer Mod Resistance is not a live reading as far as I recall... From your last post it failed to measure the ohm's.... my best guess is still a connectivity issue.... is there a good connection from the atty 510 to the device 510? What atty's are you using.... some atty's can give this issue also by their design...

Go to Mod Resistance... change to 0.00 and upload to device and see if you still have 0.004 shown in Atty Analyzer...

In eScribe select a Profile you want to change to SS430.... select SS430 in the Material list then setup the profile to the settings you want.... upload to tghe device and select that profile....in my screenshot I choose Profile 8 to change to SS430

If I recall correctly the Mod Resistance value shown in the Atty Analyzer is just the setting your device is set at rather than an actual live reading.... You can check the device setting in the Mod Tab/Electrical tab and yours is set to 0.004.... If you change the setting to 0.003 and upload it then the Mod Resistance in Atty Analyzer will change to the new setting you just changed. In short, there is no atty or no tool screwed into the 510 thus you have a question mark.....probably a connection issue with the 510 connector or wiring to the 510 connector is my best guess without having your device to troubleshoot.... As @giz_60 noted to contact the seller or start a ticket with Evolv... good luck.... let us know what you find out...

Hcigar's "Contact Us" Page gives you ways to contact them....you can ask them about their warranty....or contact Evolv for guidance as suggested before... Link: http://www.hcigar.com/index.php/Info/view/cid/406.html

You might just start a ticket with Evolv and let them address this with you.... just explain the issue with each device and let them guide you on each device.... should more than one device be needed to be shipped to them you could ship them in one box to save on shipping costs.... not sure the board is the issue as BF's seem to be somewhat different since they are bottom feeders (squonkers)..... Peak and average temp vs the set temp in device monitor?

Peak and average temp vs the set temp in device monitor?
retird replied to denniz's topic in General Discussion
I've not used any SS304 wire...... what difference in the temp control do you notice when you reduce the wattage to say 20 or 18 watts. Do you still get the same results as you first posted? The regulation I get is a result of tweaking the various settings to achieve the best results.... As the device regulates it has to react to reaching temp setting thus the device will always, for mili-seconds, overshoot temp setting as it reacts and starts to regulate... at least that's my experience... I have seen over-temp readings alot higher than yours and tweaking many things, such as the many settings available, the wire material, the CSV file configuration, the coil design, the wicking, and etc. .... all allow me to get it down to the lowest variance from set point.... If you want to check the boxes in Device Monitor as seen in my example and post a screenshot while you are vaping it may help us understand what your vape is doing....I'm thinkin' that a bit of tweaking will give you better results... -
Peak and average temp vs the set temp in device monitor?
retird replied to denniz's topic in General Discussion
.The DNA regulates the temperature to a set temperature. (230C in your example). As the temp is met (at 230C) it may overshoot that temp a bit at which time it is regulated down to 230C. Depending on the coil build and other things it may regulate down (under 230F) at which time it will again try to reach 230C. So it is constantly monitoring and regulating. Case Analyzer helps by giving the most accurate calibration for temp readings. Your device is operating as it should.. To get a better look at what your device is doing you might check the following boxes in Device Monitor (see screenshot below I'm using a DNA200 device)). I use these to fine-tune the settings (such as pre-heat, punch, wattage and temp and to do things like monitoring the resistance change of the coil while heating and battery sag, and etc..) -
Can you post your *.ecig file here so we can review it?

This is a known bug that effects starting in December....did not occur before December.... Evolv posted that this will be corrected in the next update.....

The resistance of any coil will change when heated or cooled. It is not static. You can see this using Device Monitor by checking the box for cold ohms and the one for live ohms. As you vape you will see the live ohms change due to the coil (wire). being heated. Here is a screenshot showing this.... it shows cold ohms and the live ohms (while vaping) and you can see the resistance change.

Yep.... ohm's will change due to heating or cooling of the coil while vaping...

Evolv's default theme? I am able to replicate this with my custom theme also.... Will pass this on to James.... I've never heard of this before now ....thx.. Edit: this occurs also on the DNA200 and 75.... don't have a 250 or 60 so I don't know about the 250 or 60.

What theme is this you are using?

hum, cells slightly out of balance... What battery pack are you using or are you using 3 single batteries? Pack Rated over 22 Wh? Is the Battery Setting set to Li-Po or LifePO4? and you have the proper CSV file for the battery pack? Is it set to Max Puffs or Max recharges? Guessing that you are using a used DNA board on your new build.... is the battery pack (batteries) new and if so you might use it a bit and charge again.... several cycles may help balancing....

Can you post a screen shot of Device Monitor?
-
If you get the new/old coil message while using an atty and not detaching it then I suspect a loose connection or dirty connection at the coil, deck, or 510 connection. Your coils should also be spaced and not contact coils... Using Device Monitor you can see cold and live ohms, temp setting reached, wattage used, and much more... here is an example... the live data (while vaping) shown is the items you check on the left side if the screen...
