Si98justme
PBusardo said in one of his videos that Evolv were in fact working on it, and the dude he was interviewing said they were close, so there is a bit of hope. retird
John B of Evolv posted this on Monday in another thread: Posted Monday at 01:06 PM · Report post When I hand-tuned thermal parameters, I got 20 degrees F per amp and a 12 degree offset. Try those values and see what you get. We'll have a new firmware in a few days, finishing up the Mac version right now.

James
I've posted a beta version: It's restricted to DNA 75 Color at present. We will widen it to all DNA devices after working out most of the bugs public testing will inevitably find. Keep a Virtual Machine handy just in case, but this version has been fairly usable in my testing.

iAlexander
Continuing my “bad UI/UX” posts, is there any possibility that software (or some part of code) will be distributed to public (of course with some license)? I develop software for Apple devices, and can start building an alternative version as a pet-project…
Monotremata
For some reason I cant get Escribe to launch anymore on OS 10.13.6. Used to work just fine before. I just reinstalled SP15 and it starts to launch then immediately shuts down. Tried re code signing it, didn't help. Tried removing the quarantine attribute as well, still didn't help. Console is giving this whenever I launch it: Aug 15 13:38:45 SHIVA com.apple.xpc.launchd[1] (com.apple.xpc.launchd.domain.pid.mono-sgen32.2014): Could not resolve origin of domain. XPC services in this domain's bundle will not be bootstrapped: error = 107: Malformed bundle, taint = missing executable Aug 15 13:38:45 SHIVA systemstats[49]: assertion failed: 17G65: systemstats + 914800 [D1E75C38-62CE-3D77-9ED3-5F6D38EF0676]: 0x40 The only way Ive been able to get it to run (which I did just now) is by going into the Package Contents and the Resources folder and running RunEScribeSuite using the sudo command with the Terminal. Is it just me or??? EDIT: Permissions issue I guess??? The apps owner was set to root/admin (R/W/X), group was wheel (R-X) and everyone had (R-X) as well. Just changed it to myself as the owner, and the group to admin and now it runs fine. Edited August 15, 2018 by Monotremata

High Sierra 10.13.6 is the most we will get. My laptop isn't dead yet and I'm not planning to upgrade until needed. Please ensure escribe SP18 (?) is made to function for all of us, not just cutting edge beta testers.
