  1. I removed the batteries from my 250C and plugged in the USB and got the "check clock" message. Next unlocked it and fired and got the "check battery" message. Started EScribe and Device Monitor showed 0 voltage for the cells (as expected). So I then proceed to look at some Youtube reviews for the ThinkVape 250C and notice they use a very large diameter positive contact for the batteries. I'm thinking that may very well be the problem here. Take a really good look at the positive end of the batteries to see if this might be the case. A bad connection on just one would do it. Another set of cells really needs to be tried here as it appears to me to be a battery connection problem and not a board problem. Edit: The positive battery contact is so large that in some cases it may rest on battery insulator ring and wrapper instead of on battery positive.
  2. I paid $9.29 with free shipping on eBay for this one.
  3. Well I had to go here: https://www.pcmag.com/news/thunderbolt-3-vs-usb-c-whats-the-difference
  4. Use 18650 setting for round cells.
  5. If pressing the fire button 5 times puts it in to lock mode and it then says "Locked, Clicked 5 times" and you can see that OK then the mod is in stealth mode. Stealth mode is turned on/off by first locking fire button by pressing 5 times. When locked hold fire button and down button at the same time to turn stealth mode on/off.
  6. The cover on the switch on the DNA board goes off and back on quite easily, it's not held on like the one in the video. This can be done without removing the switch from the board. Be sure to not loose the disc and remember which way it goes back in.
  7. I can't imagine a way
  8. PWM is what I have been thinking about since reading your first post of this thread. Way back I bought a Smok Vmax and it pusled at around 96 pulses per second and really wasn't that noticeable. Soon they brought out the Zmax and it pulsed at around 33 cycles per second, that was quite noticeable and it was referred to as rattle snaking. Same for a lot of China mods of that era. Vamo was another.
  9. For those that need to know what to do with the service pack SP45 as it is not a .exe. After you download it put it in C/ Users/ your name/ AppData/ Roaming/ Evolv/EScribe Suite/Firmware/DNA 100 Color Then use EScribe as usual to update the firmware.
  10. https://downloads.evolvapor.com/SetupEScribe2_SP27_INT_ServicePack.exe Install SP27

  12. The only thing I can think of is look in your Programs and Features (add and remove) and see if Windows Driver Package - Dimension Engineering is listed. If not reinstall a full copy of EScribe making sure "drivers" box is checked during installation. If the option to select various items isn't there it's not a full version.
  13. The cable has to be good enough to handle 3 amps as well. Have you tried other type C cables?
  14. At 2:38 there is mention of the media blasted 510 threads possibly causing connection issues.
  15. It's past beta version, if you would like to get it now it is here: https://forum.evolvapor.com/topic/66731-early-firmware-and-escribe-suite/?do=findComment&comment=936820
  16. Was there much trouble fitting in the larger charging/data board?
  17. My first one still looks like the day I got it, the finish is super strong, for lack of a better word,
  18. Here is a couple of screens of my Dovpo College DNA60. Of all my 60's it has the most voltage drop which I contribute to the limited contact between battery cap and case. The 1st screen is with a good Samsung 20S 30 amp cell. The 2nd screen is with a LG HD2 25 amp cell that is weak from age and no longer used. Your results should be better than my best results here, IMO. Both cells were 4.19 volts at start.
  19. I'm one of those that have had a XvoStick DNA60, my 2nd one, on order for a year and a half. I pretty much have no hopes of ever seeing it.
  20. Because it's such a nice piece I am posting the image that you provided a link to.
  21. While you have found a pretty serious problem with the connection to the 510 pin I feel that it is not causing the problem you described.. I would be looking real close at the power connections from the cell to board/case. The cell you are using when in good condition should be plenty good enough at that power level but it may be weak from age, just a possibility.
  22. How is the battery ground connected to the board?
  23. Here is my XvoStick with Samsung 20S firing at 35 watts.
  24. The devices are the same other than firmware.
