Sp55.1 did nothing on either one of my 100's in the mod resistance area. Just the usual ? I got it to briefly flash 0.010 once. -

I must admit that I hadn't tried it since updating the FW, I shall get on it when I get home from work -

Here is my DNA100 firing at low ohms. While I only got mine to 0.07 ohms I would think it would also fire at 0.06. -
It has to do with which firmware your device is using. The latest firmware for your device is included in this EScribe Service Pack. It will change wattage in 1 watt increments. https://downloads.evolvapor.com/SetupEScribe2_SP45_INT_ServicePack.exe

Fire button pressed, only fires half of the time
dwcraig1 replied to Phone Guy's topic in Report a Bug
Are you pressing the actual button of the fire switch or the actuator on the face plate? -
I did my 250C 2 cell like this. I solder bridged to the batt + and batt -. Could use small wire I suppose.

Best to ask that here: https://helpdesk.evolvapor.com/index.php?a=add&category=1

Have a read here: https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/threads/jac-vapour-series-b-dna-75w.807551/page-204#post-21653835

I would be looking at the 510 socket, there have been some known issues. Specifically the ground.
-
I'm late to the party here. It appears to be a problem with just this brand. So what could be different here. My thoughts go to the coating (if any) of the mod's 510 pin.

OK, see that cell #4, it's higher than 4.2 volts. The battery management chip is bad. Sorry to have to tell you that. Are you able to return it where you bought it? Stealh Vape in UK is an Evolv service center, try contacting them. If the above fails open a ticket with Evolv. https://helpdesk.evolvapor.com/index.php?a=add&category=1

What does EScribe's Device Monitor show?
-
Just to be clear here are you saying that the same coil reads 0.3 ohm then reads 0.5 ohm at times? (cold)

Inverted colours on DNA 100C (Lost Vape Hyperion)
dwcraig1 replied to Peat's topic in General Discussion
I would recommend starting a ticket with Evolv: https://helpdesk.evolvapor.com/index.php?a=add&category=1 Include a link to this thread. -
Under the help tab on top left of EScribe there is backups option, there you can choose a previous setting. You can revert to previous firmware under the Tools tab/Apply Service Pack, choose the one that you want and upload settings. This needs to be on the computer that you previously connected your device to.

Here's my 250C, first puff it's set to 2 cell LiPo, 2nd puff it's set to 2 18650s. This is in TC mode with SS316. I'm not seeing any difference in power delivery here.
-
So why are you wanting to change it anyway? Try asking here: https://helpdesk.evolvapor.com/index.php?a=add&category=1
-
While I'm not sure which model board you are trying to change the input settings on the settings are set as high as they can be, you can set them lower if you feel that your cells can not provide that much current if you wish. Personally I see no reason to change these values but they can be set lower than default settings but not higher. Here is the snip of part of the data sheet for the DNA250C, no matter what your actual batteries can provide the board will never draw more than what is listed here. There is no data sheet published for the DNA100C publicly but you can just figure they are 40 max and 35 sustained.

Round cells (18650, 21700,ect) cell soft cutoff set to 2.75 volts. Lipo set to 3.09 volts
-
Dual cells in a series the amp rating would be the same amp rating but with the voltage doubled, amounting to twice the available energy (watts)
-
30 amps at 7.4 volts is not the same as 30 amps at 14.8 volts, it is double the power. Convert to watts to see actual power, 222 watts vs 444 watts. Here is a very useful web site: https://www.the12volt.com/ohm/ohms-law-calculators.asp And to compare the energy from any cell/cells to another first convert to amp hours, https://milliamps-watts.appspot.com/
-
If the four LiPo cells were wired in parallel instead of a series and the wiring was up to it the above example would be 120 amps @ 3.7 volts
