  1. Yep, I would think that since Replay remembers your choice of puffs it would be stored in the memory and not effected by taking out the battery but I've not personally tried this.... Others who remove the batteries may know and post here..... I do know when I do a Soft or Hard Reboot of the device Replay is not effected.......
  2. So would this internal flash memory only store the last clock time recorded before the batteries were removed? How would the clock timer continue with no power from the flash memory? I'm only asking as I am not familiar with what all flash memory is capable of doing.
  3. If you change batteries quickly I think the time will stay, at least that is my understanding , as a capacitor on the board stores energy for only a short time..... There is no board mounted auxilliry battery...... The DNA 250C has a built in 2 amp battery charging system which works quite well...... I've not externally charged a battery in over 7 years.....
  4. Connect your device and start EScribe then open Device Monitor and that will update the time.... Not a problem with the device.....
  5. He does show an overshoot in the screenshot..... good catch..... good info you got from James.....
  6. What are the settings of your profile and what type of coil......
  7. Also, a hot spot in the coil can give false Temp Protect.......
  8. Temp Protect message should only display when the temp is reached..... you can check using Device Monitor to see when the message shows up.....it should not display if you are not at temp....
  9. OK.... that just means you have reached temp setting .... that's all.....
  10. OK no powder coating or anodizing.... I had to consult others about this "throttling" message you are getting as I never saw or heard of that message. I am told that that message was probably changed in the language of the theme (whoever designed the theme) so what does that message mean? Throttling is not a default error message that Evolv uses.... we now need to know what message this "throttling" replaced? Does it mean weak battery? Temperature Protected? Check Atty? You can look at your theme in Designer/ Language tab and see....
  11. Yep seem weird but not all devices are made the same nor do they use the same 510 connector.... I googled your device and it looks like the 510 connector is anodized or powder coated, right? If so that same coating on the threads that hold the 510 into the device may be causing a intermittent poor connection (grounding connection of the 510).... have seen this on other mods also....
  12. I read a similar post a while back about that atty.... have you tried a different atty with the same coil in it? It may be due to a connectivity issue either at the coil, internal to the atty, or connection at the 510..... at least that's what it may be....
  13. Unless I'm missing something it looks like you are reaching the set temp quickly and the power throttles down to maintain the set temp.... What happens when you set the power down to 60 watts?
  14. Can you post a screenshot of Device Monitor while firing the cold coil which gives you the "throttled" message? Tick the following on the left side so it will show on the graph....
  15. You might just contact the vendor you got it from and explain all the issues you have posted....
  16. Nothing to worry about and may just have been the way the theme was set up.... You changed the setting so you are good to go..... As I look at new themes folks post some are flipped and sometimes the button settings need changing.
  17. My thoughts on Replay: Replay records the resistance and you select the puff you like then that resistance is played back and controlled by various, and many, variables built into the Replay function. The recorded resistance of the coil you selected is played back consistently. Yep, you can use Replay in Temperature mode. If your Replay Perfect Puff is the set temperature and you have a smooth regulated temp (flat line in DM) then it’s a wash but if your Replay Perfect Puff is somewhere before the set temperature is met (your Perfect Puff is less than the set temperature) then it will still only top out at the temp limit you have set. But I think Replay has 2 main attributes, is easy to use and mainly gives a more consistent flavor, for folks that use wattage mode (Power) with their temp wires.
  18. Early Service Pack (all devices) here:
  19. Yep, Evolv folks drop in and read..... at least two were here Saturday and/or Sunday........ and at least two this morning.... they are busy guys with many hats.... So you have questions about the Case Static Temperature Rise right? Both devices seem pretty consistent from your last run @ 18.4F and 18.25F And does the device not turn on after the Case Analyzer finishes on both of you guys devices or only on @Zaptear device? Anything else? Question: At what rate (current) does the device charge at when hooked up to your computers?
  20. Look at the post that is up 2 from your post.... click on the "James" line....
  21. @Joe M., can I help ya with anything to "get this thing working"?
  22. Try it...... if that doesn't help then just submit a ticket to the link I posted earlier.... they will guide you.... Good Luck....
