  1. Just a thought.....USB to USC C adapters are small and that way you don't have to carry a separate cable.....
  2. 4 days old..... you might also contact your vendor and ask them...... they may have a warranty replacement process if they can't help you get it going....
  3. Alpha and Beta firmware, software, and etc. for most companies is tested and bugs are expected until all that are found are resolved..... You can look at the Early Firmware/ EScribe thread on this forum where early firmware may be put out for folks wanting to try it before it becomes a recommend update..... Alpha/Beta testing is a different process.... and usually confidential with most companies.....
  4. If I recall that device has a daughter board for charging.... separate from the dna 200 board.... You might also contact Vapor Shark about their daughter board.....
  5. The device is the reference mod that was use in alpha/beta testing the 250C boards... it has the latest recommended firmware
  6. Yep, my 250C (4 cell - 400 watts) has been asleep for 2 days and came out of sleep normally....
  7. Evolv manufactures their DNA boards and the device manufacturer decides what boards they want in their devices. The Paranormal device is made by Lost Vapes and they chose to put an Evolv DNA board in it.... Evolv's boards are not device specific and as far as I recall only one device maker over the years asked for a special board to meet their specs to use a different charging circuit and those are no longer for sale... those being the Vapor Shark DNA devices..... When a firmware update is available it is for the board and you never see a firmware update only for a specific device (such as a Paranormal)...
  8. The vape is similar on all of my DNA devices when using the same tank/atty with SS316L coil. This is across my DNA 75, DNA 75C, DNA 200, DNA 250, and DNA 250C devices. The profiles are set the same in all my devices.
  9. I'm just like a lot of others who volunteer their time here to help others and moderate the forum..... At the bottom of each of my post it says " *** I am not an employee of and do not represent Evolv Inc. My opinions are just that and are not meant to be fact or even correct. ***"

  11. With auto-lock disabled you should still be able to manually lock and manually unlock the device..... the display will go off after a period of time whether locked or unlocked..... You might try this example to see what you get: Set Lock time to 2 minutes and turn on Auto-lock.... let the device auto-lock and the display go off.... try to unlock...... the device won't go to sleep in 2 minutes so sleep is not a factor in this example..... Now turn auto-lock off and manually lock it and let the display turn off.... then manually unlock it....
  12. Don't think it is going to sleep but the display is turning off as it does automatically.... Deep sleep on all DNA's I've had only kicks in after a long period of non-use. It is designed to save battery during long periods of not being used (such as setting on the shelve) .... The sleep function was never user adjustable as far as I recall.... The lock feature was set up to disable the buttons to be more pocket friendly...
  13. hum.... I always thought the lock feature was different than the sleep feature......
  14. Theme Designer designs themes for use on both 75C and 250C..... the theme I use is for both and in this case it needs to show 4.20 volts on the 75C and 16.80 volts for the 250C (4 cells in series). You say it displays correctly on the device. ..... Try changing the Battery Field Setting to Battery -> Cell 1 Voltage (2 cells in parallel has same voltage)......
  15. I think that is just an example of what the voltage will look like with 2 decimal points.... it's not a live reading....
  16. Evolve warranty covers the board only for 1 year.... they do a very good job of repair but surely you understand their warranty only covers the board... I guess you could just ask them to let you send only the board..... vendor replacement with a new Paranormal 250C may be your best bet....
  17. Let device set overnight with usb cable attached to it but not to EScribe.... case must be at room temperature..... connect to EScribe and start case analyzer and input room temperature without touching device.... battery level should be at most only at half charged...... let case analyzer run and then accept results....
  18. Thats' a Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17692 isn't it???
  19. Hope you get it resolved..... you can start a ticket with Evolv and they will guide you...... here is the link https://helpdesk.evolvapor.com/index.php?a=add&category=1
  20. I only use Wismec Notch Coils (SS316L) and I do not make my own coils.... they are very consistent and work very will in Replay.... I used Temp Protect (TC) forever till Replay came out..... immediately switched to Replay.....
  21. My only thought is that the circuit boards and the firmware in your other devices do Temp Protect differently than the DNA's do it.... Evolv invented Temp Protect and so I would be comparing all other boards against the DNA and not the other way around....... just my thoughts..... do the other devices have Replay yet??? Replay gives a consistent vape more so than Temp Protect I think......
  22. Maybe you got a defective device??? All my DNA's that do tenp protect are fine with SS316L... have you tried a different profile not using Steam Engine's profile? Here is the CSV I use... SS 316L.csv
  23. THX for the info.... got a link so I can download the Artic Fox software ? Would like to take a look.... EDIT: found a link....... 😊
