These are rough comparisons between the two boards screens and their physical sizes. Proper engineering diagrams would show exact dimensions, visible areas and bordering. NOTE: The "viewable" screen area on the DNA60C is the same size as the DNA60 and falls in the same location ⬇️ Black and white DNA60 ⬇️ ⬇️ Color DNA60C ⬇️

OK. On your mod alone are you sure you have SS316 selected as the material type in the profile you're using?

I need you to go into escribe (with mod plugged in) and do a screenshot of the profile you're using. When you start escribe you'll see 'current profile' and a number. Click below on that number then do a screenshot. Then start 'device monitor', ONLY enable TEMP, TEMP SET, POWER, power set. Take a puff, pause the screen. And then do a 2nd full screenshot screenshot instructions in my signature line.

Is this your first DNA mod? What mod are you talking about, and does it have a USB port? Are you a straight watts vaper or do you change up profiles/materials/settings?

Thanks @Jimmi5. These color screens are very delicate and more care is required when installing them, right down to the routing when attached to the board. Ideally Ravens Moon has that figured out by now. I've seen others with a regular simple BilletBox style routing with over 25K puffs. If you think you can button it all up neater than them, watching out for what I said, go for it. One last thing. Even if there is/was a bad batch of screens, it would be their issue, not yours. Hoping they take care of you properly.

Did either of you keep one or more of the dead screens and can you post a photo of them (screen down, showing the cable end up)? What make mods?

So you meant micro USB not usb/c <- that's why I needed that photo to ensure it was a DNA device. 😊 Is that a straight USB-A to micro USB plugged directly into your iMac (no funky Y cable or anything)?

Start escribe with no mod plugged in. Under 'escribe' click about. Post screenshot of that. Take photo of mod, post that.

Sure. By default the boards by Evolv are sent to mfgr's with TFR not TCR files .... just saying. If your material (wire) supplier has provided you with either type of info you can create your own.

Sure, you can either turn up your preheat watts or punch value OR BOTH. Your SS316 material profile is fine. What changes do you imagine there?

This has been true for years and used on the regular DNA60 boards also. Being an off-board/non integrated/add-on some mods even have no USB port at all.

IMHO you should really let them know of any issues and the opportunity to rectify. Neither of my 60C's have a USB-C port, and I only plugged the charger board in and saw the LED. All my mods have worked with escribe for years on both the Air and old MBP. It's been a while but IIRC I was getting close to 3A charging (as advertised) on the 100C.
