  1. Don't know if you're aware, but with the 250C you can change the watt increment to 5 or even 10 watts at a time.
  2. Same place the software has always been. Unfortunately all those versions have been lumped into 1 post, and they're not in order, but it's in there. https://forum.evolvapor.com/topic/66731-early-firmware-and-escribe-suite/?do=findComment&comment=918219 Probably, but I wouldn't if I had a choice. You probably already have multiple versions of the drivers, etc. A clean install on a machine never having run escribe is what I would do personally. (I used to run multiple versions years ago because the last Feb 2016 update was the last time setting the internal mod resistance worked properly on the 200. IIRC file extensions changed, even the USB Product ID changed for the board. If you're not really savvy with lower level computer stuff you'll have nothing but frustration) No need to prove anything to us. @retird and I just don't remember ........ we never said you were wrong.
  3. @Buellbloke I'm Feb 2016, so you were here a solid 5 months before me. My very first puffs were TC on a 40 and RDNA40. Both Sharks with that less than stellar rubberized finish. Like @retird my 200's are all still working fine. I just checked and the software goes all the way back to the EScribe 2015-07-16 version. EScribe 1.0.34 was the first with the ability to change the Watts Increment (Theme tab). Knock yourself out if you want to try and load it. I don't think it will but you can always try. Perhaps if you have a spare PC.
  4. Sadly I don't remeber a 5 watt increment either.
  5. Just checking 🤔 You did insert both batteries, positive up?
  6. Temp Sensing (my definition) - Material (wire) that changes its resistance enough (when heated) that will allow TP/TC to work.
  7. What version of the firmware are you running (Numbers down in the bottom right hand corner of Device Monitor) ? Yes, quite a few others have reported that same behavior. I'll try find that link for ya, or just search deep sleep like you thought.
  8. So when you said ”If I wanted a TCR of 300, what would I put in that box? Just confused on the conversion” DW said 0.003, and that’s the same as 0.00300. Following that, a lower value of 98 would be 0.00098 The TCR of a material has nothing to do with hotter or colder. It merely states how much a material heats up. The 98 would heat up slower. (All things being equal) See that 500F you wrote, that’s the hotter or colder part.
  9. Gimp, MS Paint, Photoshop ................ the list is almost endless. Or even just go repurpose icons from within font files Welcome
  10. Escribe is a suite of tools containing software for all mods, and firmware for some or all mods also. The notes are there in that thread identifying changes for each going back years. Latest at the very end. Under the options tab in escribe you can choose if you want to be notified of updates. So the entire suite has a Service Pack number. Escribe software has a version number. Firmware has a different number.
  11. LOL. Very first line, of the very first reply from dwcraig. LOL
  12. Numerous formats including a .stl file found here in the zip file
  13. @wogfun Have you reached out to Lost Vape for a replacement? They are the manufacturer. Good luck.
  14. Hey Chris, couple things. I see I had posted that link twice before, first time 9 months ago ............ but not this time. I posted the pics and James posted the link It really does sound like a cryptic link, but hey, we can't force them to change their ways. AND I FULLY AGREE WITH YOU. No need to be sorry pal, have a good one!
  15. Just went. Box Mods, 1st on the left. 1 click and .............
  16. If you've searched this forum and can't find one, probably no big loss. You're out a logo, but you can download other screens/logo's/themes. Many if not most mfgr's leave the mods in a default state, but you can run the same tools as them.
  17. ⬆ This, right here. What battery and mod are you currently using? Fake or inferior batteries, or massive sag can make you believe you have short runtimes.
  18. That material will be fine. Turn your watts up/down, hit 'replay'. Sit back and don't worry about dry hits from mesh (while in replay).
  19. Make sure you're using material (wire) that is normally used for TC (SS, Ti, Ni200 as examples) for your simple coil, or as the core of a more complex coil.
  20. It can really be as simple as that Yes, 'warmth' and 'boost punch' can help you fine tune your vaping experience. BUT it can be great without them. For now, just puff away in a replay profile in a straight watt material/mode and hit the replay button when you're ready. Watch a video on how it all works and what the terms mean. Maybe put both at 5 for now, move 1 value to 8 tomorrow, if you don't like that change move it back. Some themes work better than others for users, just depending on how/what the creator thinks and if it jives with you. Enjoy your mod
  21. What doubt(s) do you have? If you follow Bill's advice completely, you should be fine. He's a well respected DNA user. And I do mine in a similar manner. ⬆ This, right here.
  22. That sounds like the connection to one of the batteries could be dirty or needs adjusting. I'd clean them up (battery and mod coonections) with some Isopropynol alcohol (I have used Windex in a pinch) and check them again. While you're doing that see if all 4 mod connections appear to be making good contact. Usually one end is fixed and the other springs/moves in and out. Try that and report back
  23. There is no reset. There's a reboot or a restore defaults. What you describe is being in a wattage profile where boost is enabled, and your mod is locked. Unlock the mod, and try again Or, under the top options (File, Edit, Internet, etc.) there should be a 'Help' and under there you'll find 'Backups'. You should be able to choose from there, to get you back to where your mod was working fine.
  24. You could search for it or even better, run your own battery analyzer. Guaranteed accurate for your mod and batteries.
