  1. Sounds like you have a bad connection somewhere. If you use atomizer analyzer in escribe it will show that. The ohms should be steady with very little fluctuation. Like maybe 1 or 2 milliohms. Put another atty or coil, ideally simple single coil and see if that’s steady. If it’s not you need to look at your mod build connections (grounding and 510) all 4 of them 👍
  2. What material is that coil? Go to that 'atomizer' screen, measure coil ohms.
  3. Looks great 🤩 and helluva risk you took that worked. Kudos to you. 🙌
  4. The entire premise of this thread is false. ❌ Who on earth ever heard of a "LiPo mech mod" being built with a highly sophisticated, variable wattage, regulator board? 🤔 🤪 She can solder, SHE'S A KEEPER! 🤩 Take her mod, and buy her a new enclosure and board of her choice. 🎉 She can solder, SHE'S A KEEPER! 🤩 Or slap that black and white ArcticFox theme on it and call it a day. 🗑 She can solder, SHE'S A KEEPER! 👍 You can let her know this board can fire the lowest ohm coil she can build. 🧨
  5. Those are the EXACT same links that are posted for the 250C board! Glad that you got your mod sorted out.
  6. If that were me, I'd reach out to VA and ask them directly. They do claim 'Hand-polished finish' OR because it's not DNA specific, look for a forum/group with more active modders
  7. Open a ticket with the 'Help Desk', give them the details. Link in my sig.
  8. Did you actually check that the ribbon cable is pushed into the connector straight and far enough? Did you hear that definite click when you closed the connector?
  9. Preheat applies extra power until the heating coil is up to operating temperature to shorten the delay between pressing the fire button and generating vapor. Because preheat is temperature based, it will not overheat or burn the vapor. The Preheat settings can be adjusted from the device. That #1 is the Punch setting - Scale 1-11, which is how close to your Set Temp before ending the Preheat settings Yes Similar to Preheat for TC vaping http://www.steam-engine.org/wirewiz# DJLSB Vapes has some good YouTube tutorials on the DNA Color chip. I highly suggest you watch at least one before you start changing things Welcome
  10. It's good to leave the defaults set by the manufacturer until you understand what/why you're changing them. Those 'Advanced' settings allow you to (tailor/be more specific) the battery specs you actually have, for the mod. And other things. The closer you are to .2, the more watts you can use. Boost will briefly give you more watts than you have set to get the coil heat up quicker. The closer to 11, the more watts will be used. Using 'Device Monitor' you can enable/disable and view how your mod is operating. Battery in your case. DJLSB Vapes has some good YouTube tutorials (I don't regularly keep up with ANY youtuber and definitely not user comments)
  11. We've seen where on a Windows machine, you might need to try a different USB2 port and plugged directly into the PC.
  12. What are the individual cell voltages? And the USB voltage when looked at in Device Monitor?
  13. You're only get 2A charging while using an external block and a high quality cable. The closer the battery is to full, the charge rate will go lower.
  14. Sure, it should install. I do believe that has worked for me in the past. What are you trying to update, the firmware on your mod or escribe itself on your PC?
  15. Just tested for SP19 and NOT working either. I have sent messages to Evolv.
  16. Welcome @Pino74 The GO chip in your mod offers 'Replay' which has the benefits of TC such as dry hit prevention. You MUST use a TC capable material/wire such as Ni200, Ti01, SSxxx, NiFexx (or others) in order to activate 'Replay'. So yes, your NiFe48 material/wire should work. That GO board works best in the .2-.4Ω range.
  17. Welcome @milly89 Hope you will contribute. This is a DNA focused forum on vaping nicotine with all Evolv products.
  18. PC charging is slow at best. Don't vape while charging as it interrupts the charging for the length of time you have configured.
  19. If it were me, I'd hit up the mod maker for a replacement. The height measurement of the 4 on shapeways are all different (smallest measurement and less than 1cm) and you could end up futzing around.
  20. I think that means I was correct? All these falling out of TSD issues have you checked your atty connection is stable with Atomizer Analyzer. Using SS clapton when cold I'll usually get ~0.003 fluctuation.
  21. My colour mods are all at SP38. I’m a simple man so I usually use a minimal basic theme like the default with a few tweaks and have not seen the error again. You could try the default, and follow what I did to both create and resolve the issue before making wholesale changes to yours.
  22. Guys, so much going on in this 1 post and I can't 'quote' multiple posts that span pages, so I'll just ramble. Yes, we (moderators) suffer from the same timeout where we need to log back in numerous times. Sometimes even during a long reply while we gather our thoughts. I also only see the translate option while using Chrome (Mac user) I have seen the error press up, and after making a single change on a theme and after a simple change I've never seen it again. Details here and YMMV. http://bit.ly/31Dg7cg
  23. Hold your horses! That pinhole is for an LED, like while it’s charging. There is no External reset on the mod. There are a couple reboot options or a restore, but only available within escribe
  24. No worries, I misread your initial post. If you can't even connect BUT you see a reset option, that is only on a theme and relating to puffs on the mod.
