In looking at your screenshot, notice up at the top it shows both batteries at 4.18V Right now that's what battery analyzer believes to be 100%. You could (in the screen behind it) move that far left value down to 4.18 as being 100% so some light or theme message appears. Totally off topic, and not related to this, you could also upgrade your version of escribe. Link in my signature.

Right down to a 10 point font, so it could read battery % as on the default

@James I actually worked with @Roxii and made something similar for her over the weekend. Mine was also the default based with only the battery % taking her to the settings. That way her phone could read/speak the values while she's out and about. She plugs in and makes all changes via escribe

There have been different shades of white. Well respected persons have also mentioned 3rd party screens have worked (color mods) elsewhere. If the mod with USB can be seen in escribe I'd say it's authentic For the other, you'll have to try the different key sequences to see if it matches the authentic (TC). IIRC there are some that have copied the font (Aspire I think) and a couple key sequences.

@reda muhammed I see the resistance rising and falling. I see no board issue, especially in watts. Are you actually having a problem? Did you try a different atty? Is the coil spaced or contact?

@reda muhammed Videos do work if you put it on youtube and send a link, but you were very clear in your description. We do not do personal contacts. Your Ni80 is a wattage material, and 7 milliohms should not affect or change the experience. You might want to try a spaced coil if it is a contact coil, different atomizer to see if the behavior is the same, but those numbers should also be going down. Unfortunately I have no Ni80 wire myself to see on my mods.

Always happy to help. 👋 Using "Atomizer Analyzer" the resistance should both rise and fall. From your range that's only 7 milliohms. Did you check your build and connections?

Alrighty then. The unstable reading of the resistance in the mod is/was either due to your build or your atty connection. Check there are no hotspots, wire clamped properly under the screws, etc. whenever you install a new coil, and before use. Changing the theme did nothing to fix your problem, but now that it is down to 0.01 to 0.03 your coil is settling in. You should dry fire beforehand (at low watts till you see a dull even glow). The mere fact that you can see your mod in escribe shows it's an authentic board. Your 'Get Information' should show that. You will benefit greatly from watching a youtube video or two on any DNA Color mod. The board operates exactly the same for all of them. Themes all vary in how they manipulate the board features. I think I have answered all your questions now, but if not what is outstanding?

@reda muhammed I will answer ALL your questions AFTER you answer mine. The answers are needed to help you properly. What material (wire) are you using in your atty? What do you mean by 'press the watt Fire'? What were you trying to do? Is this your first color DNA mod?

Welcome The Evolv default is what was shipped with your mod (I believe) with changed text for warnings and errors. While I understand your sight challenges, someone should be able to change those parameters on your behalf. I really cannot think of such a super basic, stripped down theme like you desire. You cannot lock buttons, but we can make fields display only. Just trying to hash out your requirements ............... Can you see really large text? Is there any special reason you're using temperature control? That's 3 things to set. A material profile, a temperature and a maximum watts. We/you can't really hide the 8 profiles, but we can make them harder to get at. Same for the temperature and watts.

I must be confused about the screens, but Isopropyl alcohol with a qtip. Just make sure the cable is straight, pushed in, and you hear/feel the click.

Pictures 1672 - 1675. Instructions 14-16. As far as wiping things down did you also wipe that zif connector connections? I think around 8-10 of them. Maybe there was juice on those also.

Did ya look at the pics? There's room under there (away from the fire button), it'll lay flat. We've been doing that for 5+ years 👍

I merged this post into your original thread from earlier. It's all the same topic. If you followed that link I gave you, right there in the instructions it shows to bend the cable under the holder away from the fire button.

Yes, some have used colored film to change text on the black and white boards. Depending on the thickness, all your buttons and USB connector might be a smidgen more flush to the housing

Never ripped one apart so you'll just have to see. IMHO it's really there so it doesn't move during re-assembly, but it's not a requirement. You might find the thinnest double edged tape. Isopropyl alcohol with a qtip works for nooks and crannies. Wipe it all down. 👍

Go to the opposite end, and lift/push the cover towards the ribbon. I think I've used a fingernail or tweezer at the edge of the cover. It will stand vertical to the board. Make sure to slide the new cable in straight and far enough. When you push that cover down, you'll hear/feel it click in.
