Fire Button + Up-Button does not work here (DNA75c)

I think there is not such combination of buttons on the "C" boards, as all the functionality should be accessible through the installed theme. The theme developer decides what options are available.

I've posted up EScribe Suite SP50. It has newer firmwares for DNA 60 and Cricket. Let me know how it works for you!

Enjoy :)

James

Just installed SP50 on MacOS Sierra 10.12, opened fine, loaded previous settings, will test further. Now I’m waiting for my just ordered Cricket! Thanks for the continued support for a really old MACOS.

I've uploaded a version, SP53.8, to support DNA 60 Color and DNA 80 Color (for Windows... Mac and Linux versions still to come).

Let me know if you encounter any bugs with it! Thanks!

I have no issues. The SP installed VERY quickly, though I'm going to guess that is because my devices are not a 60 or 80 Color.

Anyone try the this new release on Mac OS 10.13.6. My 2011 MacbookPro, can’t update beyond High Sierra. THANKS!

Could not find any info on a DNA80?

I've uploaded a version, SP55. It's not a big change from SP53.8. That version didn't offer the DNA 60 Color firmware update like it should, despite it being included in the download. SP55 does offer the firmware update.

I've uploaded a version, SP57. It's mostly a service pack for DNA 80 Color, fixing screen flicker issues and allowing graphical elements to be repositioned.

@James

Hey, just curious, but has just about all development ended for the color boards?

between no service packs in more than a few months and also hearing the CEO of Evolv quoted saying that you're turning your attention to firstly  dry cannabis, then I guess expand further into concentrates (Cricket 2? hopefully not we get a less restrictive price)

seems Evolv's shifting focus to new ventures. Nothing bad about it, I just hope there are enough people to continue with the boards we know & love, while going after these new projects. I personally don't use my LVE Therion 2 DNA250C for vape juice, it's my portable dab rig. I wanted a cricket so bad but the logistics of its price made it a nonsensical purchase. Especially when I have well. over 1k in 510 threaded pieces and parts. I know most boards are older now, minus a couple. Will the 250C get anymore love you think? I appreciate your time

Wow, diving into early firmware and the EScribe Suite has been a wild ride! It's fascinating how these discussions help us unlock the true potential of our devices. (SPAM LINK REMOVED) Thanks for sharing, everyone. Can’t wait to see what’s next in the tech evolution journey

@James so I submitted a TS ticket but haven't gotten a response In almost a month. I'm looking for something that's likely extremely simple for you to help me with. If you recall, I'm the person that created a functioning android APK that mirrors 75% of escribe functionality, sans the proprietary and illegal to copy it reverse engineer flashing of firmware (service packs) you had extended an invite to a specific program to me if that rings a bell, if not I only have two tickets on my username and I'm referring to the 250c ticket you graciously helped me with.

So I found myself to be the proud new owner of a unbeatable price, sealed & in box cricket. No issues or anything & reports 100% genuine and functions as it should

I've fully integrated it into my APK and now can alter cricket parameters and live log albeit with a slow but unavoidable polling rate. I've literally nailed every possible serial query and command up until the cricket. I'm at a loss for finding the commands for heat up time reading+writing as well as triggering a calibration. The heat up adjustment I'm not positive is possible as it falls more under the fw category and is not accessible through device monitor, however calibration is, therefore per your own statement, there must be a serial command to trigger it. Feeling like helping a fellow coding enthusiast out with that calibration query? haha 😅

Also could you confirm if ramp time is a no go for setting via interface?it seems like it should be as simple as changing the wattage level or target temperature.

My final question is hardware related.my cricket after Opening, was configured back in 2022! So it's battery was always questionable. I'd rather not push a almost 4 year old lithium, Ive found the same part number battery replacement with exact rating match.the swap seems ridiculously easy, is there any mating implemented where the board will reject any user replaced battery? It'd be great to know beforehand so I don't void warranty if so. You guys never did come out with a batt replacement program or just sell a replacement so while my cricket has under 500 puffs on it, it needs around 4 recharges a day which is highly abnormal.any help on any of these would be greatly appreciated 🙏🏻
