  1. Then I would guess that the mod is also authentic
  2. What mod?? Did you try the manufacturer's website or are you Trying the evolv serial number checker? The serial number on the box is the mod manufacturer. The dna board has its own serial number
  3. That micro usb is a waste, they just as well have put a mini usb or a good old usb-A. USB-C is current tech, evolv is supposed to be bleeding edge
  4. Do you follow or a part of any other vape related pages?
  5. That's wierd, I applied 3 weeks ago, and she approved the next day
  6. Send a message to the evolv helpdesk. It will probably need a board replacement. The guys are super quick
  7. Send a support ticket with the board serial number. They might surprise you. A 200 or 250 board can be had for $50-$65 then 30min-1hr and swap it. If your not comfortable doing the swap, it's pretty easy to find someone that will
  8. 75c uses micro usb. But type-c has been on the 550j for like a year now
  9. Good point, make it an actual setting. Plus bi-directional power, and up to 20a charge for the big lipo batts. It should probably give you a choice within a range based on your wh from testing your battery setup, or be locked at 3-5a until you run the test
  10. I'm seriously praying for usb type-c and 3a charging. This is could be a huge board for new vapor and experienced vapors alike, but it's basically 2018 and type-c is the new standard. Pc, Mac, and Android devices either have or are working to adopt this. Micro usb is quickly going the way of the old mini usb.
  11. Another thing to note is that above 35w the 75c runs warmer than its brethren. On several occasions I've had mine quite warm almost hot to the touch, but the battery was barely luke warm
  12. Pick the single, not the 3s. The deal with different values is that each battery will produce different values because they all perform just a tiny bit diffently but still fall within the specs for that particular battery.
  13. Don't set to 2cell, it could produce unfriendly results. It sounds to me like you need to start a support ticket with evolv. The dna 200 and 250 sometimes have an issue with the circuitry for the balance connector and the board should be replaced. Service is super speedy, the mod usually spends more time in the mail than at evolv. Plus if it's less than a year old, the board will be free
  14. Mine rolls the date back a year every time I change the battery, it showed 2014. Lols
  15. ZLong and short, as my vaping style went from mid 30w tanks to 50-60w rda, I shelved my 75c because of weak battery warnings. My 75c is built in a silo75c running a single only 20700. Battery cutoff is stock evolv setting. I measured battery voltage at the wire just after the solder point on the battery contacts. When voltage there is about 3.4-3.6 With the mod set to 55w, I get weak battery warnings and the wattage falls off. The wire is either 16g or 18g. It's the biggest that I was able to fit between the board and the battery holder. Any other suggestions?
  16. Is your tray pre-wired? If so, is it for series or parallel?
  17. Hook them in parallel. +to+, -to-
  18. That's where I'm at with it, just hoping that we could force the brightness higher. I have my screen set to fire from that screen, so a quick tap would turn it back on. Its the kind of light you'd use to find the key slot in a door in the dark, or or something trivial like that. My 75c has a pocket clip, so it goes everywhere with me, but my phone occasionally gets left behind
  19. @Chief Grey Bear how did you come out on this?
  20. I'm trying to make a makeshift flashlight screen. It would work like back before cellphones had a flash that could be used as a light. I'm working on a utilitarian theme that is currently based on the stock evolve theme
  21. Is there a way to make a single screen in a 75c theme stay at or above full brightness regardless of where you set the brightness on the mod? Also, can you make that particular screen have its own time-out setting? Thanks in advance
  22. This will becom a single battery squonker in the near future. Just trying to decide which 510 I want. Probably going modmaker 16mm with 18mm flat washer
  23. Stopping charge at 4.16 Will increase cycle life substantially and impact puff count negligibly especially in a dual battery mod
  24. I'm on stock evolve theme right now, but it highlights the profile.
