Have you checked the screws that hold the coil in?
-
@James, I have noticed that my 75c seems way more accurate on ohms and temp with heavier wire. My OBS engine has been my go to tank as of late, and I notice way less variations running dual 26g 316l at .32 than dual 28g 316l at .5, and even less when running dual 24g 316l at .3. I also get temps more consistent with my 2 dna 250s.

These are stock files from my vf166, I may have swapped the up and down buttons, but that is it. I am running case analyzer right now, and will post it in the morning if you want it. vaporflask166(mod tab).ecig vaporflask 166.ecigtheme- 5 replies

Need Vapor Shark Vapor Flask DNA 166 firmware

I will be home some time tomorrow evening and can upload it for you. Mine doesn't have the case thermals though. It appears as though they don't set them up properly before they send them out.. If you want mod resistance and thermals, that will be Monday night after work- 5 replies

How maximize battery life on Therion 166?
67exec replied to Therion166's topic in Manuals, Instructions, and Tutorials
Running temp control and some low mass wire Does wonders for battery life. I can get 300+ puffs from a dna75c using dual 28g 316l at .40ohms from a single Ijoy 20700 battery which is rated 3000mah, but battery analyzer came up with 8.361Wh.- 1 reply

You only need 30A of power. So, a 1300mah 25c would be plenty. Also, I know tons of ppl use maxamps batts in their vapes, I never would. They are grossly overrated.
-
Does the board seem to work ok when the battery shows correct in escribe?
-
Do you have a way to measure the cells w/o the mod, like a multi-meter? If they measure ok, then you need to contact support or an rma. If you use a dmm, cell1 ~4.14, cell2 ~8.28, cell3 ~12.44
-
Board with a battery hooked is ok for now.
-
Have you hooked it to escribe yet? Btw it was the balance plug on the batt that had issues.
-
When my home built 250 did this, it was a bad connection at the balance connection
-
You're doing great

Not a problem. Learn to use the search, and ask questions that you can't find the answers to. Chances are someone has had the same question and will chime in.

It's pretty straight forward, you can download it and "setup new device", then pick dna250. That will let you play around some and explore. I'd get Version 2, it includes theme designer and ecig stats. If you don't need the extra wattage, I'd look at a 75c as it's a bit more friendly. I recommend the VapeDroid as it has less issues posted than the Therion. That said, most of the Therion issues have been solved by members on here. I have 3 dna mods, vaporflask133+33, silo 250, and a silo 75c; the last 2 are home built from kits.

Phil Busardo has some great yt vids on escribe. Its changed a bit since his vids, but the basics are the same (it has more features now, and some things have moved to different tabs).

Upload the latest beta firmware from This thread. It fixed my issues
-
Just fyi, you either need to sand the back of the up, select, and down buttons a bit, or put a tiny washer under the bottom screw on the silo 75c. I used a star lock washer from either an old laptop or phone that had been scrapped. You can never have too many extra small fasteners. Also spring for a screen holder, it makes the job soooooo much easier.

My silo 75c. Brushed, magnets, 20700. I used a cheapo brass 510 that I had, but will be machining my next silo to hold a cisco/avid 510.
-
No, it was late and just got my 75c assembled and running. Been lurking trying to learn since I ordered my moderate enclosure May 23rd, and guess that I missed that part. Thanks a bunch P.S. I just assumed that when I changed to watts instead of tc, that "ni200" would change "watts" or just be blank.
