  1. Your lucky that you have your modcrate case already. Bought 2 within 30min of them being listed for sale and still waiting
  2. I know on the VS flasks, I've had some trouble with their daughter boards, and they look like a bear to remove. I'm not sure if they use a daughter board in the plain VS or not. If not, then it would be a pretty straight forward swap to a 250
  3. So, I've ended up with 2 Ijoy 20700 for the moment as it seems that 20700A's seem to bw sold out at my normal retailers. I now have battery, sled, and screen holder, but haven't received my board or case yet. Also, I haven't heard a reply on the 30T's that I inquired about.
  4. You can always do aluminum panels to match
  5. Yes, but the only vendor I find that has them is http://www.sdle.co.il/Default.asp?sType=0&PageId=56631 and they have a min 25 qty order, maybe a group buy is in order as I just emailed them for a quote
  6. Thank you. I have read mooch's tests on both batts, just looking for too more experienced folks than myself for recommendations.
  7. So I'm building a silo75c and am wondering if the 20700B will work or if I need to go 20700A? It would be nice to have the extra 900mah when out and about, but not if it might end badly. I'm a .3ohm vaper at 30w-45w and temp control depending on the juice. I use exclusively ss316 except for one tank that only offers kanthal. Thanks in advance
  8. After several cycles, gauges is pretty close, need to run analyzer again, as battery seems to be performing better. (warranty went out the window with the connector)
  9. So I built a dna 250 in the silo-950 case and used a venom fly 800 3s 30c battery, since I've had good luck with their batts in rc. Ran 4 charge/discharge cycles on my hobby charger before installing, then ran the battery analyzer once installed. It came up with 8.405wh due to 1 cell losing performance under 3.5v. (contacting venom on monday, hopefully chopping connector off didn't void warranty.) Anyways, I accepted those results for my battery and now the indicator shows empty while pack voltage is still 11.82, and all cells show 3.94. Any clue?
  10. Solid advice and worked like a charm, thanks
  11. So I started getting this sorted out, and there's definitely not enough room in the silo-950 case for the dean's connector, now looking at bullets with short wires to point up and loop back down
  12. My plan is an 800mah venom fly 30c, it's 69mm x 26mm x 18.5mm. My rc experience with venom is that they are generally underrated. I should have my board in the mail on the 2nd or 3rd then I will download escribe and play. I read on a different forum that I can change the max amp rating of my battery so the board will cut down max output. Was this correct? The highest power that I've ever used is 75w, and don't see a reason to go over that. I'm never more than 10ft from a power source for any length of time, so the lower capacity should be ok. I usually get a full 12hr work day from a single 30q in an Istick pico. Now I'm rambling, but as go day approaches, ye ole mind is a racing.
  13. I bought an empty silo-950 box from protovapor and a DNA 250 board to do my 1st build. I want to be able to swap batteries in the field, and was wondering what connector to buy? I see lots of xt60, and e30, or just bullets, but have never seen a dean's ultra aka t-plug. I know the authentic dean's are rated for 30+ amps and know that they can handle 80-100amps for 15min solid in rc applications. Plus they are smaller than the others that I listed. Now I'm just curious why I haven't seen them in mods??
