  1. /topic/66731-topic/ scroll down to 1.0.39, just below the firmware link
  2. With the fire button locked (5 clicks) hold all three buttons down at once (about a second) then change material using up or down button a select by hitting the fire button
  3. Juice is able to conduct small amounts of current, I had juice under the balance plug on the board once and it slowly drained cell #3. I cleaned mine off in that area with no clean flux and a few bursts of canned PC duster spray.
  4. This thread may be of interest to you. /topic/67136-topic/?do=findComment&comment=904285 for the complete thread: https://evolvapor.forumchitchat.com/post?id=8065639
  5. Instead of waiting here for an answer from Evolv submit a ticket on it and you will get a timely answer. http://helpdesk.evolvapor.com/index.php?a=add
  6. You can get them (various) from Steamengine, add them to EScribe then add them to the mod and upload.
  7. I found it easier to remove all the existing profile entries and start fresh after updating to the firmware that has the materials tab than to try to correct them.
  8. Not many folks talking about SS 430, perhaps cause they have no problems with it. If only it was easy to get in 24 and 26 gauge. I twist my 28 gauge to mimic 26.
  9. The 510 socket is a bit loose without an atomizer screw in, maybe that.
  10. I'm not to sure what to make of the mod resistance, if one of mine come up with a figure like 0.025? I'd be tearing it down to find the problem. Isn't that about what he listed for the Hcigar 200 as well?
  11. As far as I know it has always shown the value for Ni200 till you enter something else in the box, note that it is highlighted. Edit: I see it now....DUH It appears one is the TCR and the other the curve for Ni200, but nothing changes till you make it happen.
  12. The Hcigar replacement battery is in stock here: http://sweet-vapes.com/hcigar-vt200-replacement-lipo-battery.html
  13. Am I correct in thinking it will do voltage step up as well as down? Just thinking out loud I guess. LOL
  14. It offers a way to tell it to just "go ahead and install it" does it not? Don't worry It was not submitted to MS to be certified (and too late now to do so, no more work on XP by MS) Oh I missed it, I was thinking install, still should be able to download, perhaps try a different browser if the option to continue is not present.
  15. Does the mod appear to work properly otherwise?
  16. I'm afraid I can't be much help but I'm thinking that you mean that you checked the voltage on each cell on the balance connector with a meter, is that correct? Did this board by chance get juice leaked on the bottom of the board at the balance connector?
  17. Here's another choice (no it's more than $1), they will handle the board warranty with Evolv. http://www.protovapor.com/product/third-party-evolv-dna-device-board-replacement/
  18. For Evolv's RMA start here: http://helpdesk.evolvapor.com/index.php?a=add RMA= sending back to manufacturer for fixing. (return merchandise authorization) I doubt if Wismec will assist you, perhaps the vendor where you bought it will help.
  19. for the profile that you are going to use turn the temperatue off in EScribe. Or turn temperature off from the mod, it's next setting after 600F.
  20. Here's a link were I compared a lipo with 18650's, both packs were at 12.6 volts at firing. /topic/67734-topic/?do=findComment&comment=909671
  21. I just gave it a try, first 1 second, then 5 seconds. It didn't fire. It said return to researcher..scary...I put it back...all is fine now.
  22. As far as I know your only choice would be to lock it, I don't think the max firing time is adjustable.
  23. I was thinking that might be a good possibility.
  24. A friend of mine has a black and white VTbox200. It has the rubberized coating and the coating itself is holding up very well with one exception, the white has yellowed. It might have been the result of oils on his hands though. He owns a taco shop.
