  1. 0.80 to 0.89 is hardly any change, here is mine, while the resistance is much higher than your note the % of change here. You are getting a 12% approx. increase and mine is around 18%, I'm thinking that Replay should work with that. Mine here is with Kanger SS316lL drop in coil heads, I see more of an increase than expected, I'll post a screen using a SS316 Clapton on next post in a couple of minutes.
  2. In EScribe's Device Monitor does it show the resistance climb from cold to hot? Also, if not already, choose "Watts" for your material even though your using ss316, give that a try. And choose that same "watts" profile on the mod as well. With TC working but not Replay something must be being overlooked.
  3. I have to ask, what kind of wire are you using for the coil? You did say TC worked so maybe not that good of a question I guess.
  4. Also enable Replay for the profile in EScribe that you intend to use.
  5. You should be OK at that resistance with most TC wire . Keep in mind that when using a wire like SS316 which has very little change in resistance from cold to hot any false/poor connections between the coil and board will start to show (interfere) with the lower you go down in resistance.

  7. If you have nothing copper to use a small disc cut from a disposable aluminum pie pan would be good enough to experiment with.
  8. keep after it, you should find it. Try the copper shim, I'm pretty sure it's going to make a difference.
  9. Is there enough pressure against the battery to make a good connection? You might try adding a thin piece of copper between the cap and cell negative as a shim just to see if that makes any difference.

  12. clean the ramps on the side of the cap and the corresponding areas of the mod. Did this problem start as soon as you received the mod or was it over time?
  13. I have a VA 21700 DNA75C Spade, the battery cap and it's threads in the mod get oxidized quite easily. I was cleaning them with alcohol and they would oxidize rather quickly again. A couple of days ago when I cleaned the I applied a tiny amount of Noalox to the mods threads. It's too soon to know if this is going to work out but I suspect it will. Take note as to if for sure it's the battery cap and not the battery that's getting hot. A 26650 just isn't powerful enough for 100 watts, a 30 amp continuous 18560 or 2xxxx would be required. For sure it sounds like high resistance at the battery cap.
  14. Does it fire longer than the maximum puff time that is set in EScribe? I would make it bump fire while connected with EScribe/Device monitor and see if it's the board that's supplying power to the 510 or if it's being powered directly from the batteries. I'm thinking that your 510 pin/wire is making contact with one of the battery wires perhaps.
  15. Perhaps there's a setting in the theme that you are using that can control lock time.

  18. Just an example as these figures are not accurate. The board is powered by 12 volts @ 30 amps, it steps down the output voltage to something less, usually much less. So @ 3 volts output it might be able to output 50 amps+. (while only drawing 30 amps from each cell max, just an example) Oh. no to your question.
  19. It is the amperage output of the board not the cells.

  21. Did this happen as soon as you tried it after cleaning the switch, or did it take awhile to develop?
  22. Being that the battery appears to have been sitting well below 2.8 volts (providing that volt reading is accurate) the battery surely has internal damage. With that being said I would think that the board is what's causing the problem. But I don't know for sure.
  23. Does the mod function or throw a battery error?
