Titan 1 om click up up click up up fire !
Wayneo replied to Djini Biba's topic in General Discussion
I do not understand the bolded text, but it is normal for Titanium 1 to increase the resistance more than that while in use. That coil only raised in temperature to ~90°C which is still below the boiling point of water. And yes, it should decrease. There should already be a profile for Titanium 1 on your mod. You can use that. I do not understand this at all. It might be easier if you write in Russian, and I will use a translator. -
I am only reading the answer to the question I asked. I knew your answer before you replied. Your answer was this. My very first comment to you from back in August is still valid "That's a lot of mass you're trying to heat at only 31 watts" And why anyone would fuse 2 already fused claptons of dissimilar metals is beyond me. Your coil, I believe has hotspots in one of those 2 fused claptons which were probably not dry burned beforehand. Your 2nd puff, the res increased to .144, and your 3rd puff to only .122. See the flat red line on all 3 puffs, yeah, wasting time trying to heat the coil. But finally the temp rises to ~118°C on both your puffs. That's 244°F, and barely above the boiling point of water. Yes Replay and TC will work with mixed metals. I just use all SS as the core wire, with a nichrome 40g wrap.

As far as the screen being flipped/upside down, hopefully you've both verified that's not been set on the mod. Escribe -> Mod -> Mechanical. Last option 'screen is flipped'. No idea about the lines. Replacement Screens are ~$12 and available all over the world.

Under the Help menu item, the bottom option is backups. You can restore to a time before you made the change. Then you should go under File and save the entire configuration as your default, that you can always use to restore.

Good to hear!

I have NEVER seen that from just applying a theme. (.ecigtheme) file extension You could be fine with a 'disconnect', then a 'connect and download settings', then apply the theme
-
Did you personally ever see that logo on your mod? Yes, it's normal. That factory reset (you mean restore defaults?) could have wiped it out

With yesterdays forum update, if you go to Recently used devices, there's now a toggle to keep you logged in. I'm going on more than 12 hours, no logout. Using Chrome browser btw. Tab open while using other tabs, closing tab and coming back later, still not logged out. A happy day is here. Oh yeah, better desktop emoji's to match the mobile. 🙂

You should only need the Mac version of escribe to install the theme, but nothing extra to download any file, from anywhere. Can you post a screenshot of that error. (Command+shift+4) all at the same time, then use the crosshairs to highlight the error. P.S. I actually have the latest Air.

NO can do. Nope, never. #fakenews.

200 or 250 NOT COLOR, yes 3S and they both have balance charging. There are also the datasheets for both of those.
-
A 4S Lipo battery will work with the 250C Yes, you can charge internally as the board supports balanced charging Here's the link for the datasheet. https://downloads.evolvapor.com/dna250color.pdf

That depends on the theme that is on your mod, so that's 'Theme' -> 'Theme Designer' -> 'Indicator Light'
-
Using escribe on your PC, For the MOD tab to appear - Options (menu bar) -> User Interface -> Manufacturer Then choose 'Battery' Save your battery file from your mod to your computer. Lower the 100% value to 4.18, then 'upload settings to mod'. OR, you can edit that 100% right there, then 'upload settings to mod'

Complete Noob. No new User Guide? Questions Inside.
Wayneo replied to GloriousBeardGuy's topic in General Discussion
You are correct. There is no new user guide but one suggestion is to go watch a couple youtube videos on the DNA board/mod. DJLSSBvapes has quite a few, or a technical reviewer. You will get a better basic understanding. Questions #1 and #3 are both theme specific, you need to read the 'about this file' section for that file, and IIRC he used the trem 'throttling' instead of the official 'temp protect'. OR, you could just comment in that theme and get a direct reply from the author. Back to question #1. Yes, one could/would be the preheat watts. Question #3, check all your connections are solid, and the stability of your build using 'Atomizer Analyzer' for that coil, in escribe. -
That's a lot of mass you're trying to heat at only 28 watts. In straight watts, how high do you vape that build normally? I'd set your watts in TC mode (profile) at that value, then adjust the temp to about 200°C to start A snippet of Profile 8, and Device Monitor would be good after those changes (and unclick/deselect those 4 checkboxes below the graph portion) Out of those last images the first was much better than the last 2 for me.

Did you ensure the screen cable bend was away from the fire button? If you follow the link you'll see what I mean. Otherwise you might end up needing another screen after a while

Turnigy LiPo 950mah 3S 11.1v Curve
Wayneo replied to shehabismail's topic in EScribe, Software and Firmware
@shehabismail Duplicate posts are in no one's best interest. Your duplicate post has been hidden But to add, you can also run your own discharge profile. Hope this helps. -
My experiences. 1. I'd say IF your atty is making a solid connection would be most important. Money does not always mean quality. I have swapped out 510's due to them being shitty and it was expensive. You can check the stability of your atty connections using 'Atomizer analyzer' in any profile. 2. If he followed the spec sheet he should be fine for the wires. As well as good soldering connections. 3. No. Make sure you're using a proper TC capable coil as the core wires for Replay

I'd say proportional based on factors as opposed to incremental. And Yessir! You can use 'Device Monitor' with the power options enabled to see it clearer. If you put your mouse over a peak power and click, it will draw a vertical line with the relevant values.
-
Themes are merely skins to escribe. If you start escribe, while looking at the various Profiles, if you hover your mouse over many fields you will get the 'official' definitions. Here's my 2 cents Boost - Only used for any coil NOT in TC. Like a kanthal power curve, or preheating the coil. The term 'Preheat' is only used if you're talking TC Punch - 1-11 value for extra power applied for 1 second Watt Boost Profile -Profile that allows you to set/change/use the above. DJLSB Vapes has some good Youtube videos
