  1. Brought to you by the same people that do not recommend firmware updates. 🙃 They missed the word (externally, about that 3A max) I'll quote what I said 6 days ago elsewhere "That simple swapout to charge means you’ll be using a Lipo charger. Depending on how you vape you might get away by just plugging your mod into 2A charger during the day. Remember it’s really 4@1600 mAh cells, each charging at 2A/4(cells) or .5A each. Your mod comes with a great balance charger for th batteries." You can use your 3A charger (I use a much more powerful laptop charger) because your mod will only ever draw 2A max.
  2. That's the same distance as the 100C, so the buttons should line up. It might be tight in there. Here's the drawing of the 100C if you want to check even more. https://www.stealthvape.co.uk/product/evolv-dna100c/ Good luck.
  3. What is the distance in mm from the middle of the bottom actuator to the middle of the USB connector? on the cyborg
  4. So if you have a 4 cell (battery) mod, if one or more cells is lower than the highest it can appear very slow as it's a balance charger. It would be much quicker to charge externally (even if it's just that once cell), to get them balanced again. escribe Device Monitor will show the volts of each cell, or maybe the theme on your mod EDIT: The DNA250C balances the charging for every cell count. 2-4 cells. Added for clarity.
  5. Device Monitor uses that battery curve voltage value for the Level % after the 4 cell voltages BUT If you're gonna follow the screenshot @dwcraig1 showed, see that label in his pic that says 'Maximize puffs', that MUST be changed to 'Maximize recharges' for charging to stop at 4.10Volts
  6. Two things @illogik Do you remember what volts (or %) your batteries showed when you finally put it down? Do you remember what volts (or %) your batteries showed when you first picked it up? Looking at the datasheet, there's a Quiescent Current (while you were sleeping) of 10 mA
  7. Boost - A 1 second proportional increase from the set watts for any coil when not used in TC. Punch - How many extra watts will be used during that 1 second Kanthal and N80 are watts mode only materials. The word temperature is not used with non TC materials. Words like hotter or cooler are used to keep a clear distinction between TC and non-TC materials For TC material (NiFe, SSxxx, Titanium, Nickel200) using TC. Preheat - Maximum watts allowed at the start of a puff Punch - How close to the 'set temp' before quitting the Preheat watts Alternatively if you hover many fields in escribe you'll get official definitions
  8. Here's a great video tutorial on the board and Theme Designer. The main reason anyone would compare this to minikin is due to the same shape and size. The video lingo, or escribe will get you familiar with DNA words You cannot create your own vape curve. (wattage) DJLSB vapes - Evolv DNA 75 C Full Review with eScribe and Theme Editor Tutorial - https://youtu.be/1dvBpTm-FQM
  9. for your battery. Even now, it does not affect your mod in operation. You can use it down to the 'weak battery' warning, knowing the 'check battery' will soon be there. Your battery standing/unloaded voltage will not be below 3 Volts for any cell. Notice I still talk volts, you still talk % 😉
  10. At least all 4 cells look equal. 👍 Many mfgr's do not run the 'battery analyzer' for their batteries. I don't know if they did, but it will make that % value or an icon more accurate. Sorta like idiot lights in a car. Anyway if you want to, YOU have access to their tools Using escribe on your PC, For the MOD tab to appear - Options (menu bar) -> User Interface -> Manufacturer Then choose 'Battery' This requires maybe an hour, an RDA, a fan. Let me know for more details if any/all of you 3 want to.
  11. Yes. This will be a bit longwinded. For all those reasons I wrote before That very low power draw is done to make it more responsive to button presses. Also, If it actually powers off, it has to do the New Coil check based purely on resistance. But NO battery knows anything about a % (percent). They only talk in volts. 16.8V for you guys If your battery charges each cell to 4.20 volts it is full based on the default curve. If your mod shows 95% in the morning, using the default curve, each cell should be at 4.15 volts, or maybe just 1 of those 4 cells has dropped to 4.15 volts. That would be a drop of 0.05 volts per cell. Many themes will show individual cell voltages, but even better, escribe Device Monitor (click cell 1, 2, 3, 4) will show how each cell is operating while in use (taking a puff) Why don'cha post a device monitor screenshot
  12. My suggestion is to find a generalized vaping forum or search youtube for reviews or commentary. If you're interested in the Reflex, peruse this area but remember many posts are users with problems. If you're interested in the Reflex, ensure you can find replacement pods. This forum is dedicated to DNA mods and their users, so you'll get a much broader view of what's out in the market elsewhere such as at e-cigarette-forum.com or vapingunderground.com
  13. IIRC your mod should detect a failed update. I'm a Mac guy so no longer Windows savvy. You could/should a Help desk ticket with Evolv. Link in my signature. Good luck and let us know how you make out.
  14. Try using a different USB cable and see if that helps, ideally plugged in direct (no hub)
  15. IMHO this theme still reigns supreme, right down to the hidden lock feature from the regular/main screen. Or how about the watts shown when in Replay mode (nope not what you're thinking). Nothing but Gold. Those special touches aren't talked about at all really, but once you see/use them you'll come to understand. It's just a pity that I couldn't add this as another 5 star review after 7 months and numerous updates.
  16. They both have the same identical chip and screen. .9” 80 x 160 pixel Full Color TFT
  17. No, BUT You can start escribe then device monitor and it will show lifetime puffs which cannot ever be reset
  18. @BillW50 Loctite on the threads <- Don't do that. It can throw off your ohm readings. I personally encountered that AND here's a post from an Evolv employee saying the same ThatGuySwain - https://forum.evolvapor.com/topic/69140-paranormal-75c-resistance-too-high-fix/
  19. Once your theme has been 'approved', you do not need to submit an update for approval. At the bottom of the About area, 'File Actions', then 'Upload a new version'. 🙂 You can do that now with THIS update Do you actually use this theme on your mod?
  20. 5 of those 8 downloads all from one user on an Android device, so not even able to put on a device without gyrations. And 4 downloads from your fan spread over half an hour. Why would you do that? @mc samani
  21. Suite SP31 is the latest for all mods. Click the link in my signature. Guaranteed there were 250C firmware updates in 2021. I think SP45 firmware for the 250C which will be in there.
  22. Well if you wanna measure say from the middle of your bottom button to the middle of the USB port it should be 8.9mm (or that's what I figure from the engineering description at the bottom of this page) https://www.stealthvape.co.uk/product/evolv-dna100c/
