  1. That sounds just like a ground connection going, is the mod using a common ground, only one negative lead to the board, if so check the tightness of the board mount screws and any other ground connections. It could equally be a 510 issue as black lace is saying.
  2. Yes that's the current version of Escribe and fw, Escribe ver is 10.0.56, fw is by date. Mod res: 0.004 sounds reasonable, yes use that, some manufactures do not set it and better is is zero than too high. Yes Li Ion 18650 for all 18650 & 26650 batteries, the cut off is personal preference I leave mine on default 2.75 V The Kanthal profile is non-standard, there is a Watts one for power mode that should have the checkbox "temp sensing" unchecked. The board is 1 mm shorter at the top and 4 mm shorter at the bottom than a DNA 200.
  3. Sorry that's the 75 one, but the principle is the same, the fields are universal you can't set them per profile.
  4. In screen tab set the fields in the lhs "Running" screens, you may have to do this for bot temp sensing and power controlled coils if you use both. Choose Battery cell 1, 2 & 3.
  5. I do, but it was not me that used it.
  6. It is a buck converter so the hardware will never be able to output higher voltage then it is supplied, so you will never get 9 V in 2 cell mode.
  7. The DNA 200 is max 9 V, only 6 V in 2 cell mode, IDK, but I imagine the max voltages will be the same and it will be a buck converter.
  8. No name calling black lace, I have had to warn you before, constructive criticism is fine but rudeness will not be tolerated. James is part of the team so he wasn't completely wrong.
  9. Well it gets hotter quicker than the 200, so the average temp would likely be higher, it will have a board temp sensor to protect against going over max temp so the max is probably the same, as you say 150 F IIRC
  10. You cannot customise the battery icon currently and I don't think anyone else has requested it. On here people have been sharing screens here /topic/65591-topic/
  11. I wouldn't personally have them touching the back of the board as the 75 runs hotter than the 200, I doubt there is any danger, just that it could age the cell that is touching prematurely.
  12. I checked that in his config file it is set to 100%
  13. If you want watts as the easy adjustment uncheck temp dominant in the profile, if you want temp as the easy adjustment check temp dominant in the profile. You can also change the number of clicks to lock it in the theme tab. The raw ohms will be different, for non temp sensing wire the nominal ohms are used which take into account the mod resistance. Fr temp sensing wires the cold ohms are used, which also takes the room temperature into account.
  14. It has a field called current, but that is the current to the coil.
  15. I can't see from the photo so excuse me it it is so, but the 510 -ve needs to connected to the battery -ve or board GND.
  16. Could be the screen cable has worked loose or got pinched and damaged by fire button. In ESccribe - Help - About click the logo 7 times then open Device Monitor and you will see a filed "Screen Disconnect" and if this is more than zero if is likely what I suggested. I don't have that mod so can't say who easy it is to get to the cable to chech.
  17. I don't think the hardware limit will respect a soft low cut-off limit of 2.2 V, I'm not sure what the hard limit for the 75 is, but would expect it to be 2.75 V. I could be wrong, but with no LiFePo setting it makes no sense for it to be lower.
  18. The specsheet shows it can be connect directly to USB with a 10 k resistor in the USB Vdetect line (15).
  19. 3.7 and double the single cell capacity.
  20. 99.9% sure it will just be the large screen.
