The only time ive had a pulsing mod has been down to a short, ,, because you have it on two mods, i would put my money on the 510 center pins, either dirty or not traveling up enough, ive had a few where ive had to grasp it with the addison forceps and work it back and forth with a drop of parafin oil or wd40 to clean and free it.. edit, am not familure with the hcig 133 but on some 510 connectors ive had, becsuse of the shape of them inside right at the bottom, if you screw some attys down hard you can loose contact. So have had to use a washer as a spacer between mod and atty..

What i do on the 200 and also mech mods with no vv/vw or tc is short fire the button a few times, (tickling) just beffor you vape it, to pre heat it a bit, it works very well.

Yes pictures would be good, i would also love to know the situation in which your using it, somthing must have motivated away from one or two straight foreward mod builds. eg, intergrated into a diving helmet..

No it doesnt .. ive had swarf fall across fet legs and the whole fet has melted and it hasnt touched the fuse.. the whole thing has functioned acording to the screen but hasnt fired it.. if hes got juice mid field only, he could have allsorts of wiered problems without poping the fuse..

I wouldnt even bother trying to understand whats happening with it while its shorting, the symptoms will change the moor it melts, either berry it in the garden or remove the battery and post it off. ive said beffor i had a clone that suddenly decided to combust while i was eating my tea, it takes a while to get trust back.. had it been left in the car unatended, would have been bad..

Thats a blown board mate.. i agree with bill. Send it back or off to evolv. And GET THE BATTERY OUT TO MAKE IT SAFE.. I had a vicious ant clone that whent from zero to 200 watt within a second, it aint funny, it would melt any coil clean off the build deck, absolutly no power control.. terrible.. blobs of molten metal and sparks bouncing round the kitchen floor...

If you havnt found out allready, but for other readers, usualy with the dna if you press down button right the way till the powere/temp however youve set it goes all the way down as far as it will go and hold it there, you should get the evolv genuin product and serial code.

Would be a better job to go off the ground out tab to the 510, if your ordering a screen you could order a tab washer to solder to, once youve tightened it under the nut ect, I know if you had the brass stand offs from stealth, that means the screen ribbon needed alot of bending to prevent from dragging on the pushrod fire button, ive fitted quite a few, What i do is once im satisfied a new build is fully working i put a slither of wood like a lollipop stick or cocktail stick between the button shaft and the ribbon and then drop a blob of epoxi resin over the kinked up ribbon to set it in place, then when its dry pull the wood out ensuring there is a clear gap that aint going to close.. and drag and get warn away.

If its a metal box yam ok, I repeat. It should work wivout the screen. have you been using it long or just finished building it and its bust within hours... edit ..sos just re red it,, did aditional work last month.

No you can run it without a screen in.. if it dont run you got somting els going wrong..

Dont know if you can get Holts automotive paint in Italy, but in the UK it is very popular, they also do a soft touch paint, (might not be called soft toch, but its the stuff, theyve got it) car spare places in the Uk that stock it have like a mixing bar (as in drinks bar) so you can have it in a spray can or touch up ect, they also do some awsome pearlesent colours..

mate there are some youtube vids, first look and wicking, just googled it, Also notice there are rather a few connections from coil down to mods center pin, just be sure everything is well firm connected, temperature control is only as good as your connections.
