Most people only take about a 4 second drag so turn your preheat down to 1 second 50/70 watt, your not saying wether your twin coiling an rdta or single coiling an rda or rta. Or even what material coil.. you must have escribe to know your preheat, because of the lack of info (no disrepect), i can only suggest my own, try a temp of 380f ish and start at 15/20 watt and work your way up. sounds like you need to recoil rewick.

have you tried dripping a bit of juice down the spout to make sure your coil is evenly and constantly wetted seeing as your confirming steady resistance your connections must be (ok) Also now that your upto date on firmware, why not try the pre set values. Lock device and press all three buttons then scroll up or down, select stainless ect. I think stainless is a real b**** to work with, and its too time consuming for me, i like plug and play Ni200/Nife30, but i can replicate what your describing with a dry coil.

bad coil & or related connections, also make sure your putting enough power through in the first second of fireing to trigger the temp, somting like 100degres plus

Might be a bit late now if your mind set on sending it in, but there are a few threads on here regarding fitting an automotive fuse,,, you may have to le'ase between your electrician mate and evolv regarding still sending it in if things still dont work out,,, but it may be a quicker fix, because of your location...

I dont know, just make sure you send buy an insured recorded postage at the value you paid. and also photo copy your recipt for the mod, because obviously you will be sending a recipt in with the mod,,, so you still have some proof of purchase.. hope that aint as clear as mud.. all the best to ya..

Edit...oh good grief.. got you mixed up with the op .. har har ..(mobile small screen). i never said. When the fuse whent on mine, it had been charging for a few hours and still connected and charging and the atty i had on it was so codged up and coils in such desperat need of rebuilding, it would read short when tweaking the fire button, then intermitantly fire. So two contributing factors a suspect charger and when my coils start shorting, i now change them out sharpish.. good luck to ya...

You can pretty much visualy tell if the fuse has now blown, I dont know how fiddly it is on yours to replace insitue, put an rma request in if your not confident,, ive done one on one of my builds, (fiddly) i never definatly got to the bottom of what caused it to blow, but the charger haddnt fully charged it for a few nights so i binned the charger and the mod is still fine after months of use..

Ive never seen one say ohms too high, what attomiser are you using? Are you building your own coils for it? And sos 3 questions, what metal for the coils?

Good for you, since i stopped smoking and took up vaping i havnt hoiked a single lugie,,, that is grounds enough to take up the fight..

And any coments toward the vape shops id like to see closed down, first put yourself in the shoes of an educated observer. Watching the owners fleece and brainwash wanabee quit smokers start up vapers with sub standard clone mods destined to break and juice made in who knows where containing who knows what.

no dont think so, eight vape shops in a five mile radius i am happy to board up myself, rules and regs are for the safety of the user and manufacture.
