  1. Have you verified that the cord and the USB port are both working properly by charging another device? A cell phone perhaps. Or try another cord and power source.
  2. Well that leaves out the "too low to charge" situation. It is set to Lithium Polymer and not LiFePO4 correct?
  3. What's the voltage of the individual cells?
  4. The box had the tiniest little mark on a bottom corner, hardly visible. But the atty must have hit the floor first as the mod's pressed in 510 was crooked (slightly). I drove it back into place using a tiny ball peen hammer and a brass pipe of the same OD. All went well but I was sweating bullets thinking about those two big square components jumping off the board with my hammering. Oh the atty was a Aromamizer RTDA and the glass didn't break, just a tiny mark on it as well.

  6. /topic/67734-topic/?do=findComment&comment=909654 It's going to be the same whether Lipo or IMR, perhaps your looking for the diagram to jumper the balance plug though.
  7. I use Ti and the various NiFe's. Nife 48 (52) is real good, almost like building with Kanthal. Just my opinion though.
  8. I'd be checking that battery with a meter to see if the cells add up to what the pack voltage is. Just commenting.
  9. In device monitor in EScribe down at the bottom towards the right side will indicate if any buttons are activated.
  10. Someone can guide you on this better than myself but it appears that your battery is to low for the charger to work normally. Use " battery recovery" in the search box of this forum to learn more till more folks come online.
  11. An RDA probably has better air flow as well as a wetter wick... in most cases. Both of which will cause it to run cooler. Maybe better fed would be a better description instead of "wetter".
  12. It' in the EScribe software. Your best bet is to start here: http://www.evolvapor.com/guide/story.html
  13. LOL, so nobody's going to admit trying this.......LOL
  14. I refuse to download Win 10, cuz I've heard so many bad things. [/QUOTE]If your currently running Windows 8 I'd upgrade to Windows 10. But I prefer Windows 7.
  15. Of the posts that I've seen relating to the Lion 1800 mah battery that comes in the Vapecige the actual capacity is around 1250 mah to 1300 mah.
  16. Wire gauge and number of wraps isn't part of the equation, only the wire type when using one type of metal.
  17. I have two of the hotcig dx200 batteries, the one that came with the mod and an extra from Fastech. Both arrived healthy. no complaints, I have an Opus also to compare to. just saying as there were a bunch of bad Hotcig ones.
  18. That my friend is no easy task and a bit hard to put into words. Both covers need to be off, guide it in from the right side (looking at the screen) wire end first, keep the plug hanging out the other side till the battery is near in place. Get the plug in and put the battery all the way in. The large wires exit the battery opposite the board. Kind of a generic answer but the best I can offer. The balance connector gets put in place first actually, plug the big ones together early on during the process.
  19. I thought the deal was to stop making cloned Evolv boards if they were to do business with Evolv. Maybe I'm missing something here though.
  20. There is a small torx head screw under the label just above the two banana plug holes just below the " + and -", the cover just slips out from there, just a tab in a slot at the top. https://www.fasttech.com/forums/3372100/t/1845693/got-it-yet/1 (post #16)
  21. ^^^ if your thinking about using this battery it won't fit. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__8936__Turnigy_1300mAh_3S_25C_Lipo_Pack.html The battery that Evolv sells is the correct dimensions. $19.99-FullyMax FB900HP-3S You can find it else where for less.
