A bit off topic of the OP but a DNA200 mod with the ability to jump start a car is of some interest to me. Not that I want one, the idea of one just interests me. Edit: I'm still working on my first cup of coffee so......

I only means that Microsoft didn't test it on XP, they had already given up support for XP by the time EScribe came to be. Edit: early versions of EScribe had a glitch with Device Monitor but that was fixed in later versions, it works fine .

My link in #7 post didn't work out to to correct post, try here: /topic/67489-topic/?do=findComment&comment=907394 This should link to the entire thread as that was what I was trying for. http://evolvapor.forumchitchat.com/post?id=7840635

It certainly fits with what others have posted.

Perhaps a long shot but maybe give this a look: /topic/67489-topic/?do=findComment&comment=907393

Something is probably here somewhere but I can't locate it, perhaps someone else can.

Have a look here: /topic/67414-topic/?do=findComment&comment=906610

There are plenty of folks using Ni200 and liking it. I used it early on and did well with it but no longer have the patience too.

It should have been setup pretty good when shipped. The battery setting are for Sony VTC4;s so if your using others you may want to run the battery analyzer. You can probably find the correct battery CSV file here in this forum. You need to be extra careful when removing the battery as not to tear the wrapper on the positive end. Don't use the strap to get the batteries out.

There should be more folks more knowledgeable on the matter than myself responding soon hopefully. You might try a hard reboot, not sure if it would help but probably isn't going to hurt anything, works with Iphones.

Have you verified that the cord and the USB port are both working properly by charging another device? A cell phone perhaps. Or try another cord and power source.

Well that leaves out the "too low to charge" situation. It is set to Lithium Polymer and not LiFePO4 correct?

What's the voltage of the individual cells?

Perfectly

The box had the tiniest little mark on a bottom corner, hardly visible. But the atty must have hit the floor first as the mod's pressed in 510 was crooked (slightly). I drove it back into place using a tiny ball peen hammer and a brass pipe of the same OD. All went well but I was sweating bullets thinking about those two big square components jumping off the board with my hammering. Oh the atty was a Aromamizer RTDA and the glass didn't break, just a tiny mark on it as well.

/topic/67734-topic/?do=findComment&comment=909654 It's going to be the same whether Lipo or IMR, perhaps your looking for the diagram to jumper the balance plug though.

You might try asking Evolv

I use Ti and the various NiFe's. Nife 48 (52) is real good, almost like building with Kanthal. Just my opinion though.

I'd be checking that battery with a meter to see if the cells add up to what the pack voltage is. Just commenting.

In device monitor in EScribe down at the bottom towards the right side will indicate if any buttons are activated.

Someone can guide you on this better than myself but it appears that your battery is to low for the charger to work normally. Use " battery recovery" in the search box of this forum to learn more till more folks come online.

An RDA probably has better air flow as well as a wetter wick... in most cases. Both of which will cause it to run cooler. Maybe better fed would be a better description instead of "wetter".

It' in the EScribe software. Your best bet is to start here: http://www.evolvapor.com/guide/story.html
