  1. I only see two balance wires, the third is B+. I'm not counting the one that joins the cells.
  2. The DNA200 does a much bettter job of charging to 4.2 than my I-4, the I-4 thinks it needs to take them to 4.26 volts. (my does anyway)
  3. where are the balance leads? whats soldered on the four balance taps.[/QUOTE]Good question.
  4. Here is live view using same build but with a 900 mah lipo, note that the pack here is only charged to 12.1 volts where as the earlier test with the 18650' was @ 12.6 volts.
  5. There is obviously a problem with it as seen by the battery sag in the live view that I posted. I tested these batteries individually and got 36+ amps from the Mxjo's and 38+ amps from the Lg's pulsed with 0.1? load.
  6. I my open mine later this day. I expect to find it has chassis ground too.
  7. It my take a couple charge /use/ charges cycle before it gets perfect.
  8. Just need to bring it up to the voltage of the other two, or charge the other two the same way.
  9. I think they connected B- at another spot, the small diameter black wire seems to be for just balance. Gee, if they are 18 gauge already, well I ordered some 18 gauge silicone wire this morning.
  10. I may someday correct these wires but at the wattage I use they are no problem, but for some folks they probably will be.
  11. Do you have a volt meter? Check this thread.... #17 /topic/67772-topic/?do=findComment&comment=910038
  12. I just did the same "test" with some LG HE4's, just about identical so I'm ruling out the batteries as the culprit. "vernier"? is that a caliper? I have a caliper, but those aren't my pictures. Maybe the wires will "pop" before the fuse...LOL
  13. How about posting a live view shot firing something 25 amps? Here's mine at just under 26 amps using 3 Mxjo 3000's. The pack was 12.5 volts on the start.
  14. Here's a link to some more pictures of the wires: http://smg.photobucket.com/user/djs61/media/The%20Reuleaux/Wismec%20Reuleaux%2015.jpg.html I have some shots of live view showing battery sag at 50 and 100 watts, they are with using Mxjo 3000 mah 18650's. When I receive my LG's on Monday I'll post live views with both batteries.
  15. It just doesn't look like 16 gauge to me.
  16. So far so good.
  17. That would be 1600 mah, EScribe will calculate the watt hours for you. 17.76 watt hours. (Providing the capacity of the battery is not over stated as others are doing)
  18. I just got my original (unbalanced) Vapecige battery back from my friend that tried to balance it with his BA6 RC charger with no luck. He did balance it though using the same method I used. So far my (Turnigy) battery in the Vapecige box is staying balanced.
  19. So far it's OK, time will tell.
  20. I did do something on that order but just the usb and below, not going to say what chemical though. I did clean the 4 balance connector joints the first time with a q tip and alcohol but that must not have worked. OK here's what I cleaned it with, twice, then duster spray. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NO-CLEAN-LIQUID-FLUX-FOR-PS3-YLOD-XBOX-360-RROD-REPAIR-/130498300452 Something was draining #3 I guess I'd better mention that the area that I was concerned about it conducting is between pin #3 and pin #2 on the board underneath the white plastic balance connector.
  21. Not leaking to ground ect. I measured between pin #3 on the board and ground next to pin #1 and pin #3 to battery negative lead on the board. The battery had all leads disconnected.
  22. I used my meter to check to see if I could detect some type of connection from # 3 pin in the balance plug on the board when I had the battery disconnected, I found it totally open.
  23. And the finish.
  24. I can't figure why it took me so long to think of doing it that way...DUH
  25. Almost, hopefully it will correct from here.
