  1. I upload settings to get mine back after upgrading the firmware, have you tried that? Well I went back and read your 1st post again, I guess you did that already.
  2. I just got through 8 ml of juice, not a drop was left in the tank (2nd tank) of my Kayfun 5 with glass tank. Just after I hit 8 ml the next fire was with battery icon flashing. This is 40 watt, 50 wat preheat, my drags are just under 2 seconds so it was mostly at 50 watts. 3.6 ohm ss430. This was with an LG HD2, 2000 mah, 25 amp cdr, a 25r might do even better.
  3. Have you tried removing the batteries for a moment? Did any battery settings get changed in the process?
  4. I have no idea, back then I was checking on battery life. I generally keep it on the upper end of the charge never letting it get very low. Using a Kayfun 5 clone instead of Bellus, 40/50 watt @ 430.....it never throttles down (normally) I'll see what I can do about getting an answer for you.
  5. from CW"s site "Chemical Composition: Fe, <0.12% C, 16-18% Cr, <0.75% Ni, <1.0% Mn, <1.0% Si, <0.040% P, <0.030% S C Min - - Max - 0.12 Mn Min - - Max - 1 Si Min - - Max - 1 P Min - - Max - 0.04 S Min - - Max - 0.30 Cr Min - 16 Max - 0.18 Mo Min - - Max - - Ni Min - - Max - 0.50 N Min - - Max - -"
  6. I ordered their shortest spool of 430, 10 meters I think, they sent me two 25 meter spools. Maybe because I said why I was buying it...LOL
  7. I didn't notice anything regarding an off taste created by the wire it's self. That is actually why I bought it, I had read it tasted bad and didn't believe it so I bought some. I paid very close attention to how clean it was coming off the spool as well as if there was an odor given off when first heated. I found nothing unusual.
  8. As I said in a few posts back. I use TCR setting of 0.00238. It's a different composition than Unkamen's 430, CW's contains Ni for one. The TCR I'm using is one that I came up with after much experimenting (not a scientist, not even close).
  9. Yes I bought some of their 25 gauge SS430
  10. It works fine, softer than Unkamen's but the TCR value has not been published as yet. Not relevant perhaps but I prefer twisted 28 gauge Unkamen's ss430 better than CW's 26 gauge 430. I probably would like twisted 28 gauge CW 430 just fine if I had that as well. I'm using a couple duals of twisted 25 CW 430 in an Aromamizer with TP, works well.
  11. I'm using TCR value of 0.00238 for that ss430 from UK. For the Ni free ss430 like Unkamen sells the value is 0.00138.
  12. Go to options tab and select "manufacturer" ....I had to ask this before also.
  13. I ordered one from here: https://www.evolvapor.com/products/custom
  14. I'm going to have to guess at it but I suspect Kanger is still using that sliding 510 pin in the base of the atomizer as with the ST mini. Probably the pin is not getting pressed in good to make connection with the heads positive pin. Try pressing it in before screwing on the atty and see if that seems to help.
  15. While I have no 316 I used 317 which has a slightly lower TCR and got an 18% change in resistance between cold and 430F.
  16. In EScribe under the screen tab you can set it to show pack voltage. Perhaps increase your cell soft cut off.
  17. Well it's for sure better to not be taking your battery all the way down but 18650's are cheap and easy to replace, maybe carry another battery in a battery box if a charger isn't handy.
  18. What it drops to under load is of concern, less than 2.5 volts would not be good for the battery. Do you get the "weak battery" message or with the newer firmware the battery symbol flashes?
  19. Is this during use or is it draining while not being used for a while?
  20. Since it is close to the same (same actually) to what readings I got with tha DNA 200 I don't see any problem. Thanks though. Had I measured the voltage where the 510's wires are soldered to the board there probably would have been a different reading. The main grit of my post was that the output measured was the same on the DNA 200 with both firmware.
  21. For what it's worth I just did a little testing using a Magma RDA. I used my VTbox200 running SP3. Using EScribe voltage readings and a volt meter on the RBA's posts. I then rolled back the firmware to 2-23 and compared the two. I also used an IPV2 and took voltage readings off the posts of the RDA. Wattage set at 45 and temp off EScribe with both firmware said 4.75 volts, the voltage readings off the RDA's posts were the same also, 4.39 volts. Voltage readings taken from the RDA posts on the IPV2 also was 4.39 volts.
  22. So my Kanthal with preheat didn't seem to work with SP3 so I went back to "recommended" and it worked. But then I flashed it back to SP3 and preheat with Kanthal works. This is with a DNA200.
  23. That's best if it can be done, will advise more if needed on how.
  24. yes but here: /topic/65540-topic/?do=findComment&comment=884720 It worked for me with the FW before... let me try it..one moment Edit: I couldn't get it to work on the two 200's that worked before, it can be a bit finicky, I'll try again later
