  1. Yes, I was talking about DNA75, not 75C. Boost was added to that "old" generation on other, less widely used, chips and DNA75 was meant to get it. Then everything fell quiet.
  2. Is DNA75 ever going to get boost functionality, as was mentioned months ago?
  3. Thanks James. Looking forward for DNA75 Boost support. I understand testing it on a less popular platform.
  4. Ok. As long as the request for boost function on DNA 75 (not 75C) is clear, I'll patiently wait. Cheers.
  5. It's been weeks and everybody here is fully aware that, not being temperature controllable, Kanthal can just be used with a boost function. I wrote this more than once and always referring to the fact that it's available for DNA 75C. Reading the above is quite demoralising. It's not as if I love repeating the same things over and over...
  6. Hi John, considering that people have pretty much unanimously stated that they would be more thank ok with the two stage setpoing, for big Kanthal coils, basically, do you think it could be added? DNA 75/200/250 have plenty of power (according to the coil you can reasonably think of using) to have a preheat programmed, as it happens on DNA75C. Please, do not abandon your first clients. The product is working still fine, don't force us to upgrade for the sake of it. Thanks.
  7. Yes. It does. As the "author" of that trick (check the thanks in the post), I'd still like having an official solution to this, instead of a workaround.
  8. I'm looking for the two stage setpoint, assuming it's the same thing as preheat. Limited to the nameplate max power. I have two DNA75 and I'd like to be able to use preheat up to its specs, for a variable amount of time (as it's already doable with temp measurable wires). Thanks for taking this into consideration.
  9. Could you please let us know if the boost function is coming to DNA75, 60, 200 and 250? And if not why? I doubt it's such a key selling point that you would want to "reserve it" for newer chips. It would be much appreciated if support and new features aren't kept artificially from existing hardware. Thanks in advance.
  10. By the way, thanks yoseff. I didn't think to do this but it's much appreciated. And thanks for giving me credit. It's a small thing but yesterday, when I discovered people using it, I was a little bit proud. Cheers!
  11. Yeah, it might be that. It's just that I don't know how to fix it. I'm looking for local repair solutions here in Milan, Italy. As sending the box to Hcigar in China... no, thanks.
