Latest SP seems to have bricked my VT166
retird replied to mstave's topic in EScribe, Software and Firmware
So you are saying SP is listed as 5.2 in EScribe? If so that's the EScribe software version. What version of the firmware (Service Pack) for the device are you running? -

Also check the "date modified" of the service pack you have installed. My file shows the last Service Pack for the DNA 250/166 was dated in December of 2016. This seems to show there was no updated service pack for the device also, I think.... I may be missing something but that is what I got... -

Have you tried a hard reboot.... I understood that this latest SP is an EScribe-only update (bug fixes). -
You may just consider slowing down, cooling off, and let the Battery Analyzer have time to work. You need to determine if Battery Analyzer will work with your device. If the charge rate doesn't drop to zero then there may be a charging issue or something causing the battery not to completely charge. We can move to the led issue after that but if you feel there is an issue with the charging you should contact Vaporshark and explain your situation and let them respond to your concerns. I really have been trying to help you thru this but if you are convinced the device is unsafe then communicate that to Vaporshark. They have a warranty and provide repair services also.

My VS Switchbox DNA75 has always charged to 99% and occasionally to 100% and the red LED turns green at 99% and occasionally when it reaches 100%. I didn't think much about this as the Switchbox is said to have a 2 amp "Zip Charging circuit" by VS. I read your post and never had the need to run Battery Analyzer on this device so I gave it a shot. The analyzer said it was waiting for full charge and the battery was charging until it reached 99% at which time the charging rate dropped to zero, the LED turned green, and the charging bolt no longer was displayed. The analyzer said it was still waiting for full charge even as the device was no longer charging. I stopped the analyzer at that point. I wonder if the spec's for the cut-off charge threshold of the zip charger, or the battery .csv, is preventing the analyzer from reaching, and the device from providing, the necessary voltage that it desires as a "full charge reading"? My device is using the default VS .ecig file with only a few profiles changed so the Mod setting are all default VS settings. I have inquired of Vaporshark. EDIT: All of my other DNA75's reach 100% charge and the Battery Analyzer runs fine with them. This may be a Vaporshark zip charger specific occurrence I'm thinkin'.

Anything between 25% an 50% ...

Thanks for the link to the web site for this device.... hope you find the .ecig file....

Tararear. Hum. I've never heard of this device and googling it turns up no information. I don't recall any posts here concerning the device you have so the best I can say is to contact the vendor you purchased it from to get the .ecig file. If someone here actually has the .ecig file they can post it for you.... good luck....

In Device Monitor what service pack version are you running (lower right hand corner in Device Monitor)? Service Pack version SP5a may help. See [Recommended] version in this thread at post number 1: /topic/65886-topic/?do=findComment&comment=891902

You might want to look at the graphs in that same datasheet.....

From what I gather from your posts you have a properly operating PC (Windows version ?) and not using a Mac computer, you have a properly installed version of EScribe (version 1.2.SP5a), you have a known good USB data/charge cable, and you have a functioning (capable of vaping) Therion 75 (should have firmware version 2016-06-05 installed). It seems you have diligently tried to address the issue of the device not being recognized by EScribe thus it seems to me there is an issue with the device (possibly a faulty connection at the USB connector). Does the device charge when connected to a USB charger? Since it is new you might send it back to the vendor for warranty repair/replacement. You might also complete a ticket with Evolv explaining your issue and they will reply back to you and they could recommend you send the DNA board to them for evaluation and replacement under the terms of their 1 year warranty. Also you can set the Kanthal Power Limit in the Mod Tab under the Safety heading....

VaporShark SwitchBox jumps resistance when I change battery
retird replied to mrplow999's topic in General Discussion
It doesn't keep the memory of the last coil when you take the battery out... you might try hooking the device to EScribe and change the battery out while connected. A point 02 difference will probably refine out after you let the refinement function work... same with the point 05..... SHORT VERSION - Refinement takes a while with the device not being used. -
LV Therion 166 TC Mode Adjusting Temp
retird replied to giz_60's topic in EScribe, Software and Firmware
1. Yes you can set the 200's and 75's to be temp dominate... 2. Go into the TI profile from Daniel and set the temp dominant....
