  1. Evolv sources their screens from several sources and some device makers also place screen covers over them so you get what you get depending on the device.......
  2. If that was even possible that would be a decision for the folks at Evolv to make. Why not open a general ticket with Evolv and ask them....
  3. I thought SP5a addressed the Vapor Shark 200... At that time the 250 wasn't out I don't believe?? Are you running SP5a?
  4. From your first picture.....Are you sure you wired the balancing connections in the right order... looks to me that you wired them backwards... but you got it sorted out now???
  5. After you change to Show Message you then upload it right? Just mentioning this as you probably are uploading changes... Are the error flashes set to 3 in the Screen Tab under the Display heading? I've ran out of things to check.... In Device Monitor it will show SP5 even if SP5a is loaded. Since you get no message at all you might fill out a ticket with Evolv and explain it to them and they will guide you. I don't recall anybody not getting any message when the settings are correct. Others may have some further info or suggestions for you.... https://helpdesk.evolvapor.com/index.php?a=add&category=1
  6. That all looks good.... Do you know if your device has EScribe 1.2 SP5a installed? This update fixes Temperature Protected and other messages to show the correct number of flashes again. You can also fire the device while looking at the display (not vaping it) and see if you only get 1 Temp Protect message. If that is what you see then you do not have SP5a but the message does appear one time. When Temp Protect flashes it should be 3 flashes instead of just 1 if you have SP5a.
  7. Can you post a screenshot of Device Monitor while firing the device showing it has reached temp?
  8. Yes I know about the high cost.... was wondering the costs I asked about to see if there may be a way to get it shipped cheaper by using shipper from his/her country??? Maybe you guys can get more of your vendors to stock some Evolv stuff...and maybe a repair center... Alot of Evolv devices are sold outside the US now days...
  9. Protovapor ships with USPS. How are items ships from your country? How much does it cost to ship something from your country to Hawaii, USA?
  10. Have you verified with a meter that the batteries are 100% charged each time when you take them off the external charger? Strange that both devices are showing the same inconsistency.... I assume you have brand new batteries for each device and do not interchange them between devices....
  11. Do you have EScribe installed and have you tried a different usb cable? Does EScribe recognize it?
  12. Deleted.... What is the amp rating of #14 magnet wire?
  13. Do you get a similar sag with the other batteries you use in this device?
  14. When you can run Device Monitor in EScribe you can check for "battery sag" @ 75 watts. That may be why you are getting the weak battery message.
  15. It should have downloaded as a .ecig file Try changing the .xml at the end of the file name to .ecig See if that works by opening EScribe and opening the file...
  16. Welcome to the Evolv DNA Forum @VaperForLife !! Could you mention exactly what each failed device was doing, or not doing, and what the determination was as to whether the issues were board related or device manufacturing related. In other words what was the defect for each device? Also, each device with a DNA board in it has a 1 year warranty from Evolv for the board only. You might start a ticket with EVOLV for the HCigar DNA75 Nano that sets in your parts box. Explain what the issue is and they will guide you. They may have you send in the board for evaluation, repair, or replacement. I guess you are sending the Triade back to Lost Vape for warranty repair or replacement. You could also start a ticket, if needed, with EVOLV also if you think the board is defective. They will guide you on this one also. Hope this helps.
  17. I suppose you could use a dremel but I never figured out how to make a straight line while using the sanding wheel.
  18. Looked at your .ecig file. It looks like Profile 1 and 2 are set for the GEM atty you defined and both profiles are for SS material. You say you have achieved the vape you desire. Only wanted to comment that in both profiles you have set the pre-heat to 1 watt. You might see some benefit in ramp up time if you want to adjust this up a bit. Just a thought....
  19. Can you post a screenshot of Device Monitor with the boxes checked for "Pack" and "Level"? Screenshot when the battery is fully charged....
  20. @Smeef, would you be so kind as to post what you find out.... would be good info in case others may run across this situation.... THX
  21. Evolv is not going to phase out the DNA200. My e-mail response from Evolv when I ask if the 200 will be phased out was that the DNA200 would be produced "in perpetuity". I don't want to leave the impression that a 250 board will replace a 200 board in every device unless it will without needing any modification.... that's all....
  22. What I gathered by that thread was that even tho the boards were the same physical size the components were different. I gathered the 250 board had different sized components than the 200 board... I noticed the 250 board mentioned in that thread did not replace a 200 board in his device without modifying his device. So are you saying you think the 250 board is the only board now and Evolv only limits the max wattage by the firmware they load into the board? Maybe I didn't understand what you are saying...
  23. Yes but I'm told some of the electronic parts are different. A bit of discussion about this in this thread...here is the last post but you can scroll.... /topic/66063-topic/?do=findComment&comment=893660
