Theorum TC issues after Crown and TFV4 issues...
BillW50 replied to footbag's topic in EScribe, Software and Firmware
Sure no problem. And every time I am really to purchase a DNA75, another DNA200 catches my eye. -
One of my VT133 (1 of 5) drains cell 1 40% per day sitting unused. Although it also displays check battery when you press the fire button.

I don't own any DNA75s yet. -
Yes 11.1v and soft cell cutoff at 2.8v.
-
I am using 22.2Wh on my two. I know that is lower than you would think as my two Reuleaux DNA200 are using 27.75Wh I think, but the battery bar works better on a Triade with this value. I am sure I would need to tweak it a bit later, but it is very close.

If you noticed, my SS316L coil does and acts the very same way as a Notch coil. I don't think it is the Notch coil, but SS in general. The DNA200 plus everything else I've used over compensates trying to adjust the temperature if the wattage is too high. Other wire types like nickel isn't a problem at all. Here is one of my nickel coils for an example. -

What does your Device Monitor show now? I switched to Power Dominant and regulating temp by the wattage instead of the temp. So it is like running SS in power mode except you have the extra TC benefits. I am MTL this SS316L and I set the preheat (I turn it off when using Temperature Dominant) to 20 watts for 1.5 seconds. And maxed out the punch. And this is how it looks now. -
Yes that failed one (1 of 5) both 18650s are 4.15v. And they give a check battery error because the DNA200 thinks they are wildly different. Unless you want to do a better cleaning again, I would contact Evolv.

Yes it works like I thought it would. Here is a SS316L single coil set at 20 watts on the left. Changed it to 5 watts. See how it smooths out? -
I have two Triades and I really love them. And thanks!

Yeah I am not a big fan of SS and I had a very bad experience from it with smell and taste I may go into later. But since the TCR value is so low for SS, the resistance changes far less in regards to temperature than other TC types. Although I just got an idea and I think if the wattage is set slightly too low, it might smooth out. -
@dylang919: I have a Smok M65 that will output up to 12v from one single 18650. Did I ever find anything higher than 6v useful? Nope. Why do you build where you need more than 6v?

Have you tried SS316 wire and compared? Or is this the first time you have used SS? -
Yes I have 13 DNA200 mods now and only 1 of them failed and that is what the failed one does too. That one wakes up fine, it just can't read the cells correctly. And the one reading 0v (or near) when it really isn't is also draining faster than the other cells. I would quit using it (and remove your batteries) because I think it may damage your batteries in time.

Oh here it is... /topic/66815-topic/?do=findComment&comment=900891

If I am not mistaken, someone was having no power up after sleep problem while it would wake up with the USB connected. And they cleaned the fire button and it started to work once again. Maybe the button continuity doesn't have to be very good while awake, but needs to be better to wake up?

My 1 of 5 VT133 reads cell 1 as 0v and cell 2 way too high. But it is listed here to compare to the other four which are working perfectly. HCigar VT133_01 (Fried after hard reset) Both cells = 1 - 0.01v, 2 - 5.16v 3 - 0.50 to 1.50v Pack = 5.18v Cell 1 Only = 0.01v (actual 4.15v) Cell 2 - 2.78v (actual 0.00v) Cell 2 Only = 3.02v (actual 4.15v) Cell 1 - 0.00v (actual 0.00v) No Cells = All read 0.00v except cell 2 reads 3.02v HCigar VT133_02 Cell 1 Only = 0.00v (actual 4.00v) Cell 2 Only = 2.86v (actual 4.00v) No Cells = All read 0.00v HCigar VT133_03 Cell 1 Only = 0.00v (actual 4.10v) Cell 2 Only = 0.00v (actual 4.10v) No Cells = All read 0.00v HCigar VT133_04 Cell 1 Only = 0.00v (actual 3.92v) Cell 2 Only = 3.31v (actual 3.92v) No Cells = All read 0.00v HCigar VT133_05 Cell 1 Only = 0.00v (actual 4.17v) Cell 2 Only = 0.00v (actual 4.17v) No Cells = All read 0.00v

weak vape and aggressive temp protect issue
BillW50 replied to jesseseetai's topic in General Discussion
It won't prompt if you don't remove the atty or the cold resistance doesn't change more than 25%. You can change the 25% value in EScribe's Mod (tab). -
Apple never cared about me either.
-
Yes I did. You want four screws, maybe more.
-
Huh? It is a tiny board! What would make you happy? 50 damn screws?
-
Yeah reading differently is normal as very few of them are right on the money. 0.22 is a bit high though and 0.35 is super high. If it is a 0.22 ohm room temperature coil and heated it reads 0.35 ohm is perfectly normal. Yeah lots use X30 connectors. They are good up to 30 amps and that is all you need. Nice to met another RCer.

Hi Peter! I went to school in Holland and I loved it in Holland. I wish I stayed there longer and I am so envious of you. Anyway some... okay many reviewers say it is the best DNA200 mod out there. I have two of them myself and they are just fantastic.
