  1. Thanks. Getting closer. Guess it's not a loose connection. The theorem seems to want a very high temp, but it's reading the temp properly. I have some other SS wire coming and some Ti and Ni at home. I may play around. I think I'm getting there though. Lots of cool changes to the Firmware. Pretty awesome!
  2. Thanks. I just tried, but it seems that's the same profile that is installed via Escribe. Is there supposed to be another profile in there by default?
  3. Guess I'm opening it up. It's intermittent. Works for 3s and then drops to very low power. Thanks.
  4. Gotcha. I rand device monitor and the temp is flying all over the place. The live ohms seems pretty stable as does the power (thought it's low). So if I open it up, where am I looking? The 510 or something on the board? Footbag
  5. Whoa! New firmware and it's reading the temp. Gotta get the temp settings right, but it's a lot closer then it was before. Footbag EDIT: Maybe. Now it's showing extremely low wattages and very high temps. Maybe the OHMage is off. Gotta let it cool down and relock it. It was really jumping around though.
  6. My firmware is an older one. I think the second release. Not a beta from what I remember. It's a Vaporshark, so I can only see so much of the board without taking it apart. I can do that, but would there be a way to rule it out without taking it apart? I pulled the battery and looking at the 510, it seems fine, but it's mostly behind the plastic. I can take it apart if I knew what to look for. Is it worth upgrading to a newer firmware first? Footbag
  7. Yes. Steam Engine. I used 9 wraps and 4mm. I wanted to get the Ohm's to match the .22 that the coil is reading. I don't know if that changes anything. Could a firmware or profile get corrupt? This seems to be the same issue that I've had with the Crown and TFV4. I've cleaned all of my contacts, but it's just not performing well. I've actually been using my SX Mini for a lot of TC stuff wioth RDA's because the DNA 200 had been temperamental. This is after months of working perfectly.
  8. For the last few months, my device hasn't been operating like it first did using TC with SS coils in my Crown. It either faslls out of TC or burns the coils. I just bought a Theorum and tried the Notch coil using Steam Engine 316L TCR. It's still not reading the temp. It just gives me a dash. This is the same thing that happens with my Crown coils as well as my Ni200 coils for the TFV4. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong here? Thanks, Footbag
  9. Firmware updated and the device is changing in 1w increments. Awesome! Thanks for the help and a great device!
  10. I actually updated to the 2015-10-21 firmware. Should I roll it back?
  11. I changed the wattage press and hold scrolling speed, but it's not behaving how I expect. I increased both to 1w, but when I push the wattage up button, it goes in .1w increments, the same when I hold it. Am I doing something wrong? It may have slowed down the scroll speed, but I could use it slower. EDIT: OK. Seems like the scroll sped changed, but not the push speed.
