  1. Someone can guide you on this better than myself but it appears that your battery is to low for the charger to work normally. Use " battery recovery" in the search box of this forum to learn more till more folks come online.
  2. An RDA probably has better air flow as well as a wetter wick... in most cases. Both of which will cause it to run cooler. Maybe better fed would be a better description instead of "wetter".
  3. It' in the EScribe software. Your best bet is to start here: http://www.evolvapor.com/guide/story.html
  4. LOL, so nobody's going to admit trying this.......LOL
  5. I refuse to download Win 10, cuz I've heard so many bad things. [/QUOTE]If your currently running Windows 8 I'd upgrade to Windows 10. But I prefer Windows 7.
  6. Of the posts that I've seen relating to the Lion 1800 mah battery that comes in the Vapecige the actual capacity is around 1250 mah to 1300 mah.
  7. Wire gauge and number of wraps isn't part of the equation, only the wire type when using one type of metal.
  8. I have two of the hotcig dx200 batteries, the one that came with the mod and an extra from Fastech. Both arrived healthy. no complaints, I have an Opus also to compare to. just saying as there were a bunch of bad Hotcig ones.
  9. That my friend is no easy task and a bit hard to put into words. Both covers need to be off, guide it in from the right side (looking at the screen) wire end first, keep the plug hanging out the other side till the battery is near in place. Get the plug in and put the battery all the way in. The large wires exit the battery opposite the board. Kind of a generic answer but the best I can offer. The balance connector gets put in place first actually, plug the big ones together early on during the process.
  10. I thought the deal was to stop making cloned Evolv boards if they were to do business with Evolv. Maybe I'm missing something here though.
  11. There is a small torx head screw under the label just above the two banana plug holes just below the " + and -", the cover just slips out from there, just a tab in a slot at the top. https://www.fasttech.com/forums/3372100/t/1845693/got-it-yet/1 (post #16)
  12. ^^^ if your thinking about using this battery it won't fit. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__8936__Turnigy_1300mAh_3S_25C_Lipo_Pack.html The battery that Evolv sells is the correct dimensions. $19.99-FullyMax FB900HP-3S You can find it else where for less.
  13. It's in the bottom right corner of device monitor in EScribe.
  14. I replaced mine with a Turnigy 1300 but ended up that the Lion Power battery was OK, just unbalanced. Take a look at this post: /topic/67772-topic/?do=findComment&comment=910038
  15. Just a comment about when I fixed mine. As I was pulling up the screen up all I could think about was " gee this is stuck on there pretty good, I hope that it doesn't pull any components off the board with it". And it did not.
  16. How does one go about setting the current to zero in EScribe?
  17. I took near 10 minutes to do mine only because I'm paid by the hour (did it at work) LOL
  18. I thought I'd do mine here at work but don't have a small enough Philips screw driver. I did look at the tutorial and suggest putting tape across the up and down buttons and face plate prior to removing the face plate to hold them in place. Here is the link to the FB page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1057199624324956/ EDIT: I do have a precision straight edge screw driver set here at work so I used it with no problem but I did need some assistance getting the screws started back in, that was accomplished using the same round tooth pick that I used to fold the screen back as a screw starter. Done, easy job.
  19. I shall have a look at mine tomorrow.....providing it makes it through work.
  20. I'll throw out what I've noticed, the fire button appears to be in the same spot but the screen, up and down buttons and USB port are not so another face plate is needed. Edit: I see it now, just the screen position appears a bit off.
  21. Sorry, I see that you stated that already in the first post.
