  1. One can really get into trouble if not getting this right The first thing to do is backup the registry by going to "File", export (to desktop perhaps, your choice). Have a look: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2688326 There is a space between the 2nd " and 2nd % "%1" %*
  2. In CMD type SFC /SCANNOW Press enter, it will take some time.
  3. Can you explain using preheat with temp off in greater detail?
  4. Sure looks to be blown fuse.
  5. ^^^^I was trying to do that but when I click on Snipping tool they go away
  6. Oh I see, then it did really well considering it's elevated temperature.
  7. At the red arrow...it is 3.61 volts. This is with a LG HD2. Firing for 5 seconds.
  8. It does say "analyze" batteries capacitance but there is no box to set it, I'm unsure of just how that will work. As far as the discharge curve goes, that will affect battery gauge/percent displayed.
  9. Manufacturer is under the Options tab on SP3...other wise the settings are under the Mod tab. There's not much (nothing) to set in the way of battery capacity with the 75
  10. I'm looking at it from happening due to rebooting more than from the FW upgrade, but really don't have any real knowledge about it.
  11. Of coarse it needs to be returned to the store. It compares to what happened to my VT133 a couple of days ago. It was already running SP3 for awhile. My cells look the same, I have narrowed it down to the actual DNA board.
  12. Are your cells/pack showing correct voltage in Device Monitor?
  13. I think a screen shot of Device Monitor showing battery sag while firing at 50 watts would go a long way here at determining the problem here. I use a SMY75 with LG HD2 18650 that fires at 40 watts/50 watts preheat 1 second and have no complaint regarding battery life. If there are connection problems between the battery and board or weak battery this can be seen by the sag.
  14. There is no USB charging current displayed for the 75.
  15. Thanks Bill
  16. Were they not done by the maker?
  17. To be able to use 'Mod" tab go to 'Options" and select "Manufacturer"......with SP3
  18. Not that I'm aware of.
  19. A way of having it keep the memory of the coil in use is to power with USB cable during battery change.
  20. Well this is about as homemade as you can get but functioned quite nicely for me.
  21. I was hoping for a different answer, I'm sure you were too.
  22. What model DNA board do you have?
  23. Some of the earliest ones I believe "left" without the coating. Sounds good.
  24. Is the board coated?
  25. I know....nice.
