  1. Anybody have an issue with a Lavabox M or any mod compressing the + end of the battery down? I have an LGH2 flat top battery in my Lavabox M and noticed a conductivity issue pulled the battery out and saw that the + cap of the battery was caved in a little and I think it is because the neg battery button in the Lavabox battery sled has a very hard spring. Nothing with the board just seeing if anybody else noticed this issue on their mods.
  2. I'll just live with it. I'll use the presets and it charges I guess I'll work around it kind of tired of messing with it. I just want to vape!
  3. Ok I uninstalled and reinstalled EScribe drivers were checked and still does not recognize the 250 but does the 75? I'm stumped? Same as before! I have tried 4 different cables (all work and recognize my DNA 75). Used 2 different computers WIN 7 and 10 (all work and recognize my DNA 75). Hooked to a fullymax 900. Board will charge fully on USB! All functions work! just can't get it to work with ESribe! Any suggestions? Why would it recognize the 75 but not the 250?? Am I missing something??
  4. Ok explain that? It has power from battery when not hooked to USB and battery did charge to full when it was hooked to USB?
  5. Can anyone help? I had a 250 board that I accidentally shorted out. Filed a ticket sent it in it was is under warranty. Was sent back a brand new board. Thanks Evolv! Customer service is top notch by the way. Anyway I can't get ESribe to recognize the board. I have tried 4 different cables (all work and recognize my DNA 75). Used 2 different computers WIN 7 and 10 (all work and recognize my DNA 75). Used 2 different battery's (fullymax 900). Board will charge fully! All functions work! just can't get it to work with ESribe! Any suggestions?
  6. As title ask Input, Comparison, Thoughts, Pros & Cons, Performance, Build quality, Single 18650/26650 Duel 18650 ect... on commercial DNA 75 mods. We all know you can get the most out of a DNA build you build yourself but what if you just want to buy one to enjoy right out of the box. I personally would pay a few bucks more just to get the best performance out of the DNA chip set in a commercial mod just got to get the right one. Thanks!
  7. Here is what my BIG WISH IS!! I want Evolv or Mod Crate or Protovapor or any manufacturer! To make a mod in this design or a DIY case kit. Like the kanger juppi for a DNA 60 board with up to a 25mm tank mount and a 18650 battery. I like that the design goes out and not up with the tank. Makes for a more compact mod in my opinion that I can palm or it will all fit down in a shirt pocket with out a tank sticking up or out. Maybe put the up down buttons on the bottom like the TESLACIGS Stealth 40W with the same type design. Put the fire button just below the 510 above the screen instead of the top side like the Kanger Juppi. I love my DNA 200's and I'm spoiled because of the software and performance but man they are just to big and heavy to hall around and to be out and about just for a few hours going for a drink with friends or a BBQ at a friends house. Just my BIG wish!! LOL! I know I'm after the deadline but one can wish and dream a little!
  8. Hey Evolv ya got any pics of the DNA custom's? I like to see the 60.... well really all of them!
  9. Glacier 1300 lipo It was a tight fit also and I had to screw the lid shut. http://www.buddyrc.com/glacier-45c-1300mah-3s-11-1v-lipo-battery.html
  10. Width about the same maybe just a hair thicker. The 1550p+ shorter deeper, Silo taller thinner. I'm leaning to the Silo being my fav but less room to use the XT60 plug on the battery because the 1550 is a little deeper I could use the XT60 plug and run it between the DNA board and the battery. And I had to file a little off the lid lip on the 1550 to clear the 510 nut. I'm sure somebody could get the battery to fit in the Silo with the XT60 plug but I was tired of fiddling with it. LOL!
  11. The Silo 1300 I had to hard wire it, not ideal but I couldn't find a way to mount and keep the connector it was a tight fit. I sized down the wire I don't know what gage it was but it was massive on the lipo so I mated 18g to the end to fit to the board not pretty but it is working. The orange 1550p+ everything fit fine with connectors but was tight I had to put screws in the lid to keep it closed. I used the same battery in both the Glacier 1300 specs 70x33x20 http://www.buddyrc.com/glacier-45c-1300mah-3s-11-1v-lipo-battery.html I will probably run this battery out in the Silo and find a more suitable size so I can go back to plug and play. I like that everything fit in the 1550p+ but I like the Silo 1300 because it's a little thinner so they both have +'s. Right now just trying to figure out why my battery's in both mods seem to lose charge while just setting? Still learning the DNA 200. I have only charged on computer and I think I read that even tho the mod reads 100% it really isn't because of the limitations of a computer charge. ? Trying to get use to the heft of them also and the no burnt/dry hits too. I came from a Kbox and CoolFire IV and Kanthal but I'm thinking I should have got on this wagon a long time ago!! LOL!
  12. Just built my second DNA 200 in the last 2 days again with ModCrate parts. ModCrate green Silo 1300 box with ModCrate HCP 510, Glacier 1300 lipo. Hats off to ModCrate for there service, shipping and prices. This whole building a DNA box mod is addicting!
  13. My very first DNA 200 and I love it! I'll never go back! Orange Modcrate 1550p v2 box (love this box) 45c 1300 Glacier lipo Fatdaddy's low profile copper 510 With a Zombie theme! Using a Griffin tank single coil .38 ohm SS 316L at 40-45w. Still playing with settings trying to find my sweet spot. I replaced the board screws with headless screws and had to put 2 screws in the lid because the lipo fit so tight mags would not hold it shut. Main welcome Welcome secondary
