  1. OK, see that cell #4, it's higher than 4.2 volts. The battery management chip is bad. Sorry to have to tell you that. Are you able to return it where you bought it? Stealh Vape in UK is an Evolv service center, try contacting them. If the above fails open a ticket with Evolv. https://helpdesk.evolvapor.com/index.php?a=add&category=1
  2. Using Atomizer Analyzer would be helpful in determining if the 510's connection is good or not.
  3. What does EScribe's Device Monitor show?
  4. Just to be clear here are you saying that the same coil reads 0.3 ohm then reads 0.5 ohm at times? (cold)
  5. I would recommend starting a ticket with Evolv: https://helpdesk.evolvapor.com/index.php?a=add&category=1 Include a link to this thread.
  6. Under the help tab on top left of EScribe there is backups option, there you can choose a previous setting. You can revert to previous firmware under the Tools tab/Apply Service Pack, choose the one that you want and upload settings. This needs to be on the computer that you previously connected your device to.
  7. Here's my 250C, first puff it's set to 2 cell LiPo, 2nd puff it's set to 2 18650s. This is in TC mode with SS316. I'm not seeing any difference in power delivery here.
  8. So why are you wanting to change it anyway? Try asking here: https://helpdesk.evolvapor.com/index.php?a=add&category=1
  9. While I'm not sure which model board you are trying to change the input settings on the settings are set as high as they can be, you can set them lower if you feel that your cells can not provide that much current if you wish. Personally I see no reason to change these values but they can be set lower than default settings but not higher. Here is the snip of part of the data sheet for the DNA250C, no matter what your actual batteries can provide the board will never draw more than what is listed here. There is no data sheet published for the DNA100C publicly but you can just figure they are 40 max and 35 sustained.
  10. Round cells (18650, 21700,ect) cell soft cutoff set to 2.75 volts. Lipo set to 3.09 volts
  11. Dual cells in a series the amp rating would be the same amp rating but with the voltage doubled, amounting to twice the available energy (watts)
  12. 30 amps at 7.4 volts is not the same as 30 amps at 14.8 volts, it is double the power. Convert to watts to see actual power, 222 watts vs 444 watts. Here is a very useful web site: https://www.the12volt.com/ohm/ohms-law-calculators.asp And to compare the energy from any cell/cells to another first convert to amp hours, https://milliamps-watts.appspot.com/
  13. If the four LiPo cells were wired in parallel instead of a series and the wiring was up to it the above example would be 120 amps @ 3.7 volts
  14. For the LiPo, your method is flawed. Let me use this as an example. One cell of the LiPo is rated for 30 amps @ 3.7 volts so a 4S with the same cells would be rated for 30 amps @ 14.8 volts.
  15. An interesting observation. The settings for the DNA100C look fine for a 21700 high amp cell. The settings for the DNA250C look good for 18650 high amp cells. The LipPo settings look good. The highest 18650 cells are 30 amp and 21700 about 35 amp max, you can set them accordingly if you wish. My 100C's are still set like in your post, I'm not concerned by it, if voltage drops to cell soft cutoff then it's still protected. My two DNA100C's are powered with Samsung 20S 18650's BTW.
  16. The first puff shows preheat more than 35 watts. It is hitting temp setting and throttling down. Start out by figuring what wattage that your build can handle, do that in wattage mode with TC off. Start low and go by taste. Then once you get that figured go back to TC, first with no preheat and then add some as needed. Your build and wicking as well as juice thickness and air flow will all effect how many watts it can handle. Note: Make sure that your cold coil settings is in fact made with a cold coil (room temp) otherwise the hot coil temp will not be close to accurate.
  17. While this isn't what your asking for you might want to at least give this theme a try, you can always put it back. While there are over a thousand themes available this one I believe will suit you well.
  18. Here's my 100c, same coil configuration, same juice.
  19. EScribe settings are a bit different on the non color boards. It's just part of Escribe I'd say.
  20. This is with a DNA60. I start with building a coil for the desired wattage. Here it's 40 watt range. My only real concern is the overhead dry hit protection. Mine vapes exactly like a non temperature control device (wattage), that is till something unexpected happens like I run it out of juice. If it hits my temp setting and throttles down I'm not at all happy with it. To each their own I guess but this is how I've been doing it for a number of years. The coil here is 28 gauge SS430, two strands twisted together prior to coiling.
  21. Rather than rating battery life in hours try measuring how many mils of juice you have gone through.
  22. I have two DNA100's. Both are set not to lock automatically. When asleep and I hit the fire button for the first time the screen does just what your video is showing.
