  1. There is...where you downloded Escribe, you can actually go back to the first release & see all the changes from one version to next
  2. If you want the latest firmware update for your board, then yes...highly recommend
  3. Version 2 is the newest Escribe version & SP9 is the newest service pack...If there is an firmware update for your board, Escribe will notify you when you connect your device to it. You would have to ask Lost Vape that question...
  4. https://forum.evolvapor.com/topic/66731-early-firmware-and-escribe-suite/
  5. If you use the forums search function, and enter 'Fold Screen Ribbon, you will find a number of threads/posts addressing this issues and really good suggestions/methods to fix the problem. It has been an issue on a lot of different devices.
  6. I think you are looking at it backwards...if there is a slight difference, the board will inquire if it is a new coil.. but with enough of a difference, 50% in this case, the board knows that it is probably a new coil & should use the newly read resistance value...
  7. https://forum.evolvapor.com/topic/68713-plain-text-serial-commands/ There are 2 charging screens...one for Power Mode & one for Temp Control...make sure what mode you are in and that you are seeing the correct screen...
  8. Most likely the fire button has been pinching the screen's ribbon cable while firing...will cause all kinds of weird screen issues.
  9. If there is enough of a difference in the different coil's ohms, then the board knows that it is probably not a new coil, so doesn't ask...IIRC, the threshold adjustment for that can be set in Escribe on the Mod tab, in the Safety tab...'Ohm Lock Range'
  10. Make sure your fire button is not pinching the ribbon cable when firing..this will cause some odd display problems...
  11. IIRC, it is being tested on the DNA 60 & will be implemented on the 2xx boards soon...Stay tuned!!
  12. With device disconnected from computer, set year to 2018 & it will drop back to 2017...this a known bug to be fixed in next Escribe update...
  13. Samsung_25R (3)_18650_2500 mah_24.73Wh.csv Something you could try...in Device Monitor under the Diagnostics tab, click on 'Enable USB Charging'...just a thought...whenever I click on 'Disable USB Charging', I am seeing about the same as what your screenshot is showing...
  14. You can find the tool for sale here....http://smokefreemods.webs.com/apps/webstore/ The internal resistance on my Triade came out to .003
  15. If you search on YouTube for Therion 166 disassembly, there are a couple of videos showing how to get to the sled...not in English but you can watch the steps...helped me when replacing the board...
  16. Since the problem with the Paranormal's is widely due to LV using a loctite compound on the threads on the 510 connector, the chances are very high that you will receive another with the same issues...contact Evolv & let them guide you!
  17. On all my 75's & 75C's, they have a solid piece of wire on both the positive & negative, with the exception of the mods that transfer the ground through the metal case. If you don't have a wire from the battery tube to the board, check all your board mount screws are tight as well...have seen that problem before as well...just a thought...

  19. Same thing applies..you might want to consider replacing that with a solid piece of wire. There shouldn't be any type of interruption of the circuit from the battery to the board. The positive wire would be even more so because the board is going to be make contact with ground through the mount screws & the metal case...
  20. Quick question...is this the same mod that you posted about in another thread ( on the negative wire there is a plate that has a shrink tube on it then the wire at the other end and goes to the board)...if so, then you might want to consider replacing that wire with a solid piece of wire...just a thought!!!
  21. The battery pack sag you are seeing in Device Monitor is an input voltage sag, not output...this is what the board is reading when firing...
  22. Yes No No, in a parallel configuration the board sees them as one cell
